This November 2022 empties review is on the smaller side, for me at least, with 12 products. Spoiler alert- there is nothing here that I am planning to buy again! Why is this happening? I am at that point in my stockpile where I am working on products that simply take a long time to work through. It will be a slow road ahead, but it is always a good feeling to get your monies worth. Now, get yourself ready for all of these reviews!
November 2022 Empties Review
Skincare
First in this November 2022 empties review is eight skincare empties.
- Taste Beauty Simply Mermazing Paper Face Mask: This mask has a lot of extra fabric and it does not fit on the face well, plus it starts to fall off around 10 minutes. Of course, the mermaid design is fun, as is the strawberry scent. This is good for a spa night with the kids, but that is it. There is no reason to repurchase.
- 7th Heaven Green Tea Peel-Off Mask: This mask does not hurt to remove, and definitely smells like green tea. I do not see any effects that would cause me to buy again.
- elf Jellypop Watermelon Jelly Cleanser: This face wash does not foam at all, and the watermelon scent is rather artificial. I am sure it cleans the face just fine, but there is nothing stunning about it to buy it again.
- Physicians Formula Skin Booster Time-Restoring Vitamin Shot Time-Restoring: This serum sinks right into the skin and layers well with your other skincare and makeup, all with a light layer of hydration. I do not see any anti-aging effects, as I find most of these products to be a gimmick. I will not repurchase.
- Bliss Micro Magic Microdermabrasion Renewing Scrub: This scrub is very gritty, almost like sand. It is borderline too rough, but I find that my skin has developed a tolerance to it. On the first few uses I could really smell menthol and feel a cooling sensation, but I developed a tolerance to that too. This product absolutely works if you are in the market for a physical exfoliant. I will not buy it again since I use a chemical exfoliant.
- elf Holy Hydration Face Cream: This moisturizer has a translucent, lotion-like formula. It does provide lasting hydration all day, and it layers well with skincare and makeup. The only reason why I will not buy it again is that it does not control all of the oil production on my combination skin. This is an interesting skincare line, and you should check out my full elf Holy Hydration collection review.
- Sunday Riley C.E.O. Afterglow Brightening Vitamin C Gel Cream: This is a lightweight moisturizer that leaves your skin with a healthy glow. It features a non-greasy and satin finish, but it does layer well with other skincare. This product does make me pretty oily, so I will definitely not repurchase, and I cannot recommend it for oily skin types.
- Aveeno Oat Mask with Pomegranate Seed Extract: This mask dries down, for the most part, and smells nice. I cannot say that I saw much glow happening. I will not buy it again.
Haircare
Second is two hair care products.
- Herbal Essences bio Renew Moisture Rosemary & Herbs In-the-Shower Foam Conditioner: This foam conditioner is lightweight and provides some moisture, but I could personally use more moisture. I simply cannot convert myself to foam conditioner, and I have no plans to buy again.
- Grow Gorgeous Volume Bodifying Leave-in Serum: This serum runs out of the tube very fast! It is easy to work the clear gel into your hair, but I did not see any effects. My thin hair basically does not do volume, and this product is not for me. You can see more about this in my Walmart Beauty Box Fall 2022 review.
Bodycare
Third for November 2022 empties is one body care item.
- Soap & Glory The Scrub of Your Life Smoothing Body Scrub: This is a body scrub and sudsy body wash all in one, which features their Original Pink scent. It is effective, but I usually get it in gift sets so I never buy it on its own.
Makeup
Last for this November 2022 empties review is one makeup product:
- Coty Airspun Loose Face Powder: I have been trying to use this product up for years, which goes to show how much product you get for the price. Everyone complains about the fragrance, and I do not like it either. I bought this product because of reviews that said it bakes well. It does, but I can tell that the powder stops working as well over time. It definitely expires before you get anywhere near using it up. As far as setting goes, it does not prolong wear time at all, and it makes a lot of foundations look downright bad on my chin. It often leaves a lot of areas still feeling tacky. Needless to say, I am happy to finally use this up and I am not buying it again.
Conclusion
In summary of this November 2022 empties review, there is nothing here that I said that I would buy again, but that does not mean all of these products are bad. Beauty products work differently person to person, and that is ok! Depending on your skin or hair type, you might like products that are not my cup of tea. As we head into the last month of the year, I wish that I could take a bigger bite out of my stockpile of moisturizers, body wash, and face wash, but it is what it is. We continue to push forward! Until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.

One Response
My grandmother used Coty Airspun powder faithfully all her life! I tried it but never could get into it. She also used a lotion called Rose Milk which smelled divine to me when I was a little girl. Now I love rose-scented beauty products!
