Insert Name Here Chole Tutorial

I will begin by giving you the details on INH Chloe. She is a set that contains a ponytail extension, as well as three sets of clip-in extensions. Two of the clip-in sets feature three clips, and the last one features four clips. The look is loose, spiral waves.

You will adore how versatile this set is – you do not have to wear all of the pieces! The ponytail can be worn on its own, as can the clip-in extensions.

Since my hair is fine, I opt to wear only two sets of the clip-ins with the ponytail and that is plenty of hair for me! Basically, this small investment can give you multiple looks.

1. Prep Hair

Step one is to prep your hair. Make sure that your hair is clean, dry, and brushed or combed to remove any knots or tangles.

2. Section Hair

Second, it is time to section your hair. Grab the top layer of your hair and brush it up to create a ponytail that sits on the top of your head. Then, twist the ponytail, wrap it around itself, then wrap a hair tie around it to create a bun. There should be hair at the back of your head that is down to assist with the ‘half down’ part of this look.

3. Curl The Down Section

Third, you should curl the ‘down’ hair to match the curls of the extensions to get the best blend. Begin by spraying the hair with heat protectant. Comb it through for even distribution. Then, allow it to dry.

You can use any curling iron that you have on hand that you know will mimick the curls in the extensions. For the sake of this tutorial, I will skip the curling.

4. Apply Extensions

Fourth is applying the extensions. Now, I have seen several tutorials where people do not leave a down section of their hair. Instead, they gather all of their hair into a bun on top of their head, and then apply the clip-in extensions right on the back of their head. This is not the proper way to do it, as the band of the extensions will probably be visible. That was a common complaint.

Using a claw clip, I section the ‘down’ hair. Then, I apply one set of the three clip extensions. I section again with the claw clip, and apply another set of the three clip extensions.

My hair is thin and fine so I do not have a lot to hide the extensions, but, I do my best to layer them into my real hair. I know that my hair does not perfectly blend based on the awkard length and the fact that my highlights are still growing out.

5. Apply Ponytail

I already have a detailed how to wear ponytail extensions tutorial that will explain this perfectly! INH Chloe is a smaller ponytail than their standard, but, it applies the same.

Attach the ponytail extension by securely placing the comb at the base of your bun and gently lift upwards. Then, wrap the Velcro section that contains the hair wrap section around the base. Secure the hair wrap with the two included bobby pins. At this point, you can style and adjust your look as needed.

At the end of the day, you will be ready to remove all of the pieces, and they will need some TLC. Be sure to check out my detangling wigs tutorial that covers how to properly brush the ponytail and clip-in extensions.

Frequently Asked Questions About INH Chloe

What is a half up half down ponytail?

A half up half down ponytail is a hairstyle where the top section of your hair is pulled into a ponytail while the rest of the hair remains down. It creates a balanced look with volume and movement.

What comes in the INH Chloe set?

The INH Chloe set includes one ponytail extension and three clip-in extension sets—two with three clips and one with four clips. The extensions feature loose, spiral waves for a voluminous look.

Can I wear the INH Chloe ponytail or extensions separately?

Yes. The INH Chloe ponytail and clip-in extensions can be worn together or separately. You can mix and match the pieces to create multiple looks depending on your hair type and desired volume.

How do I prepare my hair before applying the extensions?

Start with clean, dry, and brushed hair to remove any tangles. Section off the top half to form a small bun at the crown of your head. The remaining hair should stay down for the “half down” portion of the style.

How should I curl my natural hair to match the extensions?

Spray your hair with a heat protectant, comb it through, and use a curling iron that mimics the curl pattern of the extensions. This helps the natural hair blend seamlessly with the INH Chloe waves.

What is the proper way to apply clip-in extensions for this look?

Clip the extensions into the down section of your hair in layers, starting from the bottom and moving upward. Avoid applying them directly on the back of your head, as this can expose the extension bands.

How do I attach the INH Chloe ponytail?

Secure the ponytail extension by inserting the comb at the base of your bun, then wrap the Velcro section around it. Use the included bobby pins to hold the wrap in place and adjust as needed.

How do I care for the extensions after wearing them?

After removing the pieces, gently brush and detangle the extensions. Follow proper storage and care methods to maintain their texture and prevent tangling.

Is the INH Chloe ponytail suitable for fine hair?

Yes. Those with fine hair can use fewer clip-in pieces for a natural result. The set is lightweight and designed to blend with thinner hair types when properly layered.
