Details
As seems to be wet n wild’s style lately, this collection dropped with zero warning. At the time of this writing, the brand has failed to acknowledge the existence of this collection. While there is no true release date, these products appeared in-stores and online at Walmart at the end of September and early October.
About a month later, the collection dropped on Amazon, Ulta, and wet n wild’s website, giving us two items that Walmart never got, plus a PR box.
This is a 29-piece collection, plus the PR box. The products smell and taste like warm apple pie! The pink packaging is very luxe and adorable. These products celebrate the 50th anniversary of Hello Kitty. This is not wet n wild’s first collaboration with Sanrio.
PR Box
The PR box is exclusive to Amazon and wet n wild’s website. The design of it is absolutely beautiful! Please note that it does not contain the full collection. I did not buy it since I purchased the full collection seprarately. Here is what it contains:

Glossy Lip Stain
Several years ago wet n wild had a line of Glossy Lip Stains that got discontinued, and I thought they were brilliant! This makes me question the “new formula” claim as they seem like the same but with a changed applicator.
This formula provides a sheer to medium wash of color with a shine. It is not as shiny as a gloss, but, it is definitely there and juicy. These feel amazingly soft on the lips. They do not dry your lips out. They are never heavy or sticky. While there is virtually no noticeable transfer, these do fade beautifully over the course of eating and drinking, yet the shine remains!
The triangular applicator holds plenty of product and it really hugs the lips. I would love to see this line return, as it rivals Urban Decay who also discontinued their product. We get no real lipstick in this line, but K-Beauty is all about sheerer hues right now.
Claims: This is a new formula that gives you the benefit of a lip stain with the shine of a gloss. It should condition the lips with bold color.

3-Piece Lip Liner Pencil Set
The large and in charge lip liners and eye liners are an OG drugstore product for wet n wild, and I am so happy to see their return here! You will never run out of product.
These lip liners are classic pencils that you sharpen. They have a natural finish and glide on easily without skipping or tugging. The pigmentation is definitely there.
They are very creamy for a pencil. What more can I say – back to basics is best!
Claims: These pencils should have a silky formula and high pigmentation that effortlessly glides onto the lips. You can define and shape your lips with these versatile colors.

I love that the keychain has wet n wild’s logo on it. The mirror is a basic mirror.
Claims: This mirror is made with comfort grip material and is travel friendly for touch-ups on the go.

5-Piece Makeup Brush Set
Finally new brush styles! They love to repeat their sets over and over. This design is gorgeous!
I will fight their claims that three of these brushes are new. We have seen the highlighter brush more times than I can count. The powder brush and eye blending brushes are not new. What is new is the liquid foundation and nose contour brushes!
The liquid foundation brush has the right balance of densly packed bristles and softness to be amazing for not just foundation, but also liquid/cream bronzer and blush.
wet n wild makes exceptional brushes that have a feel of quality to them. They do last years and years without falling apart.
Claims: This set features three new brush styles for liquid foundation, highlighter, and nose contour. There is also a powder and an eyeshadow blender brush. The bristles should be feathery-soft and vegan to pick up and blend product seamlessly.

Lip Mask
If you own any of their lip oils, you already know that you can throw away all of your other oils, balms, and masks. However, I have become obsessed with this lip mask! I feel that they have leveled up this formula from the copious repeats of the past. I keep using this lip mask on repeat, in tandem with their lip oils.
Finally we get an applicator! It works just right. This formula is clear and is super shiny! You will like it on its own or layered over lip color. It feels thick on the lips in a good way, while not being heavy or sticky. The formula feels like an oil. This is almost like a solid version of their lip oils.
I like to wear this before bed for super soft lips that do not need exfoliation. It would even be a good makeup primer. This may be something I need to repurchase before it is gone forever. You do get a decent amount of product.
Claims: This is a nourishing formula with Vitamin E, shea butter, and murumuru seed butter to hydrate the lips. The spatula is for precise application.

Radiance Liquid
In their core line there is one shade of radiance liquid. This limited edition version is larger, and a different color that is more rose gold. I do love their formula.
This product is a very glowy primer, but, it will not extend makeup wear time. Depending on what you layer over top you may diminish or lose the glow.
I prefer to use this product as liquid highlighter. It is easily built up to be subtle or bold. It does not remove coverage underneath. You can even use this as a foundation mix-in to add radiance.
Claims: This formula is blended with niacinamide and glycertin to condition the skin. It can be used for primer or glow. It should be lightweight for a natural glow.

3-Piece Eyeliner Pencil Set
My thoughts here are the same as the lip liners! These are super creamy and apply without skipping and tugging. You can smoke them out easily before they dry down. They do last all day without movement or fading. I have not tested them on the waterline. Again, these are classic pencils that you sharpen.
Claims: These pencils can line, define, and shade the eye area with long-lasting color. The pencil allows for precise application and is travel friendly with versatile colors.

Glitter Mascara & Lash Curler Set
Their lash curler is my favorite and I have been using it daily for years. It grips all of your lashes without pinching or discomfort. Sadly, there is nothing special about the wet n wild x Hello Kitty version. This is the same as the core line curler, except the pad is pink instead of black. There are no markings to indicate this is Hello Kitty.
The mascara is like what we have seen from Fantasy Makers and other limited-edition lines. It adds no color to be seen, dispite the pink hue. Once it dries down the glitter may be more tame than you were expecting. It does leave the lashes feeling stiff and crunchy.
Claims: The mascara features multi-dimensional glitter that is pink iridescent. It can be used alone, over mascara, and on your brows for a touch of sparkle. The curler is their award-winning tool.

Glitter Lip Oil
Their lip oils are the product of the year to me! You need to read my wet n wild lip oil review to see what I mean. I wear one daily, usually to bed, as a lip treatment. My lips have never felt like this before with any product. Truly, these are baby lips. I rarely exfoliate anymore.
This is the same great formula in three new colors. Once on the lips the glitter is not very noticeable. Do not be afraid of the silver hue, it is practically clear on the lips. These add a sheer wash of color with a ton of shine. I am so obsessed with these and the lip mask. Must haves! Magic Apple is exclusive to Amazon and wet n wild.
Claims: These lip oils are infused with glitters and 10 oils to help your lips feel great. You can wear them alone or layered.

We have seen shimmer liners before. The color and glitter is definitely there. These are always on the slightly more sheer side. You do want to allow them to dry if you plan on layering them, otherwise they sort of erase themselves as you re-apply over top.
The brush is easy to control and the liner lasts for as long as you wear your makeup.
Claims: This is a high-definition formula containing pearl particles that are light-reflecting and multi-dimensional. Get precision and payoff with an easy-to-control brush and high pimgent formula.

Primer Serum
I have tested every primer serum that wet n wild has ever released. I like all of them, even this one. While they never extend makeup wear time, they still make for an excellent no-fuss base. They layer with everything.
The formula is always super hydrating. This is the exact kind of prep that you want for makeup. All skin types can really appreciate it. Dry skin especially, but, proper hydration can keep oily or combo skin from producing oil, and normal skin can wear most of anything.
This primer may look like a liquid highlighter in the bottle, but do not worry. It gives your skin a luminous, healthy, lit from within look without looking metallic or glittery. Everything layers well over top.
Claims: This luminous primer serum should prep, prime, and refine your skin for long wear. The ingredients are nourishing to be used with or without makeup.

3-Piece Multi Stick Set
Here we are again. The multi sticks are their worst product, and they push them in nearly every collection. I hate being here giving a one star review over and over again.
Yes, the colors and shine are beautiful! They are so creamy and easy to apply and to blend. The problem is that they crease on the eye and feel weird on the lips. They do not really release shades that scream ‘use these on the cheeks’ as a blush.
This time around I used these along my lower lash line. Gosh darn it, they traveled down into my under eye creases! Nothing ever does that to me. These things simply do not stay put. I think the only good use for these shades in particular would be in the inner corner or brow bone of the eye. Perhaps as a face highlight on the upper cheek bones, which may be too intense.
Claims: These multi-functional sticks have a velvety cream-to-pwoer formula for seamless application on your eyes, cheeks, and lips. They can be mixed and matched.

Eye & Face Palettes
These palettes visually reminds me a lot of the wet n wild Always Blushin’ palette. The first thing that struck me is the swatches are pretty terrible. The shades are lacking pigment, and a lot of the shimmers and satins look the same. Big Smile is a bit better than Be Kind, but still a bit lackluster for wet n wild. Labeling the swatches in the picture for Be Kind was challenging.
Sometimes swatches do not tell the entire story. Application on the eye is a bit better, but overall, the shades are pretty sheer. wet n wild is known for their eyeshadow and they can do a great job, but this one is not it.
Now, I do know that sheer shades such as these are trendy in K-Beauty. Perhaps this is an intentional move, which is why I am giving the palettes 4 stars.
Otherwise, the shades are easy to blend and to build. Nothing is patchy or chalky. I have not seen any kick up or fallout to speak of. There are no shade names, only numbers on the back of the palette. Some shades are not for use on the eye area.
Big Smile is exclusive to Amazon and wet n wild. Please forgive me for not numbering the shades in the swatch, but it is the same idea of 16 shades without names that are swatched in order. Purples are hard to formulate in eyeshadow, and these are not the best or the worst. This is good for the drugstore and the price point. They are true to color and buildable to a degree. I cannot get shades eight and 12 to swatch well for anything as the pigment is severly lacking.
Claims: These palettes feature a rich pigment that lasts. Everything should blend seamlessly and be buildable with 16 shades. The formulas are matte, shimmer, satin, and glitter for the eye and face area.

Highlighter Trio
This is a different way for wet n wild to approach a trio! The formula and glow reminds me a lot of the megaglo Highlighting Powder. These are very silky smooth and are buildable. You can get that blinding glow if you want! Feel free to mix, match, or go with individual shades. This is a metallic formula that does not emphasize texture.
Claims: This is a pressed powder formula that has three shades. They should blend seamlessly and be silky smooth. You can use the shades individually or mix them to acheive your desired level of luminosity.

I am confused as to why this collection has so much highlighter! This formula is basically glitter for the face. It is not chunky or gritty, but, you have to like a glitter highlight. There is a better chance that texture would be emphasized with these.
The color selection is sort of weird. The pink is too dark for several skin tones. The other is more of a clear/white. A redeeming quality is using them as a glittery blush topper, which helps the pink to make more sense.
Claims: This formula has iridescent pearls to reflect light and provide a glowing shift. They are silky smooth to blend seamlessly for a luminous finish.

Ombre Blush
While the formula may or may not be new, I dispute the claim that this is a new product for the brand. They had three gradient blushes in their core line several years ago and discontinued them. This is the same idea revived.
This is great blush! The powder is so fine and soft. The formula is easy to control, blend, and build with the right amount of pigment. This is exactly what you want from blush. Both shades are very wearable for every day. They are matte.
Claims: This is a new formula, one of a kind gradient blush. The shades blend together for the perfect flush of color. You can build the color from subtle to a vivid pop.

Liquid Eyeshadow
We have seen liquid eyeshadow plenty of times. This packaging and applicator is more closely aligned to Fantasy Makers. Their formula is easy to work with. You get enough time to lay down the product and manipulate it before it dries down.
This formula dries down fully and it is locked into place. There is no cracking, creasing, fading, or movement all day! They look just as good at the end of the day as they do on initial application. The pigment is full coverage for the matte, and medium to full for the lovely metallic.
Do be aware that they have a shelf life. I would say that they last one to two years once opened. I also want to say that the swatches came out pretty patchy. They looked good wet, then patchy once dry. On the eye they are perfectly fine.
Claims: This is an intense formula that provides vibrant color in one swipe. They are silky smooth and highly pigmented, yet blend easily.

Loose Setting Powder in Light Pink
wet n wild does translucent and yellow setting powder, but pink is totally new! Color correcting powders are all the rage right now. I could never get behind their yellow on my pale skin, but I am a forever fan of their translucent powder.
While the ingredients are different from the photofocus Loose Setting Powder, it still applies and performs the same. The pink hue is pale skin safe! It does give the most subtle brightening effect to the skin, perhaps even better if you have a pink undertone. It has, to use the word again, a subtle shimmer but you really do not notice it on the face.
This powder is finely milled. It is so soft and blurring on the skin. It does not look heavy or cakey. It really sets makeup well. My skincare routine controls my oils so I cannot comment on shine control. This is another item that I may have to grab another of.
Claims: This is their first ever pink powder, featuring soft-sheer pigments that brigthen and revitalize the complexion. The ultra-fine powder should control shine and lock your makeup into place for prolonged wear.

Makeup Bag
This is a unique design for the brand! The material feels like a soft faux leather and is sturdy. I love the angled zipper that goes all the way down the sides of the bag and the gold hardware. While the bag is compact when it is closed, it does fully expand to be almost flat. What a great bag!
I always do my test to see if the bag can fit the full collection. It passes with ease.
Claims: This is a spacious bag that features an expandable interior to give you a full view of your products. The soft handle is travel friendly and secure.

I love wet n wild’s sponges! They are so soft and bouncy for the perfect blend. The shape of this one is pretty impractical. I will keep it as a collectible. I am not understanding why the claims say to use it dry?! Their sponges, like all others, are meant to be used damp.
Claims: This sponge features a 3D design that is recommened to use dry. It should provide streak-free blending with hydrophilic material that ensures smooth application of liquids, creams, and powders.

Now it is time for my full face of wet n wild makeup look using as much Hello Kitty as I can. The button below will show you all of the products that I used. This pink soft glam look was really enjoyable to wear.
To recreate the makeup look, start by applying shade 5 in the crease. Next, deepen the crease with shade 10. Then, apply the Liquid Eyeshadow in Cheers! to the eyelid. Now, apply shade 9 to the outer corner. Use the Multi Stick in Friendship along the lower lash line, then use shade 13 to connect the lower lash line to the outer corner. Apply shade 1 on the brow bone and inner corner. Line the eyes the You-nique eyeliner pencil. Finish the look with the Precious liquid liner by adding a swipe along the wing and inner corner of the black eyeliner.
