This collection has no real release date. When it comes to where to buy, Walmart is one of the only options for the full collection. The displays popped up in stores in September without warning from the brand, which is all too common anymore. The products are also in stock Walmart’s website. wet n wild is your next option for everything.

Ulta 16 items which is about half. Amazon got most of the collection but it still says temporarily out of stock.

This is wet n wild’s second My Melody and Kuromi collection, with the first one being smaller in 2020. It has come back around to celebrate the 20th and 50th anniversary of the Sanrio characters. The items in this collection have a sweet berry scent and taste.

As I always do, I am reviewing the full collection, including swatches, star ratings, and two full face of wet n wild makeup looks where I utilize all of the products in the collection. By the end of this you will know exactly what products you will want to buy or pass on.

PR Box

I want to give you a full tour of the PR box. I always do this with box sets so that I can make you feel like you are right here with me unboxing the set. While it is obvious, I am purchasing the full collection box.

I am only showing the parts of the box that have any design. If I skip a part, that means it was solid in color. There are designs on the top of the lid, as well as on the inside of the lid, and the sides.

Are you wondering where to buy the collection? Luckily, these items should be more accessible than past collections! Here’s the skinny:

• Ulta was selling the full collection box only on their website. It sold out many times before being completely removed. The collection should be available in stores.

Brushes

A first for wet n wild, these brushes are duo-ended. I am not the biggest fan of duo-ended brushes because storing them upright means one end will have smashed bristles. However, I always walk away from these limited edition collections with a new favorite brush! These are the same quality as any brush that you will get from them. The liquid and confetti filled handles was first seen with the Pacman collection. I am loving the rose gold metal ferrules. Now, let’s take a closer look:

• Shadow & Blend Brush: I will use the shadow side to pack color onto the lid, and the blend side for crease application, or simply for blending the edges of my eyeshadow out.
• Blush & Highlight Brush: Just as the names imply, I will only use the blush side for blush, and the highlight side for highlighter. The brush side reminds me of a Real Techniques and a Smashbox blush brush, but I have no other highlighter brush shaped like this unique one.

I will dock these brushes only one star due to the double ends being tricky to store. They are best laid down, perhaps in a makeup bag. Of course, they are travel friendly as you typically want to travel with as few brushes as you can.

Cosmetic Bag

The bag is made of some sort of faux leather material, and it is double-sided. One side is pretty in pink and dedicated to My Melody, while the other is dark and edgy for Kuromi. The zipper pull features two charms, a heart and a skull. The bag is large enough to fit all of the products from this collection with a little bit of room to spare, but the brushes are too long. You would smash the bristles trying to get the brushes in the bag. As I mention above, duo-ended brushes are best stored laying down, perhaps in a bag, and you really cannot do that with this one. For that reason, I will dock the bag one star.

Lip Color

We have two matte liquid lipsticks, and two lip glosses, in brand new colors. As far as I can tell, the formulas for both are the normal formulas you will find in wet n wild’s everyday collection. The matte liquid lipstick shades correspond with the lip glosses perfectly, so you can easily layer these up, or wear them on their own. Here are the details:

• My Melody Liquid Matte Lip Color in Sweetie Pie- This is a vibrant, hot pink shade that is sure to turn heads
• My Melody Lip Gloss in Oh My!- This is a clear lip gloss with rose gold glitters
• Kuromi Liquid Matte Lip Color in Goth Girl- Get ready to live out your goth dreams with this dark eggplant plum
•  Kuromi Lip Gloss in Lil’ Miss Punk- This is a clear lip gloss with purple and gold glitters

I say this time and time again. While I am not a lip gloss fan, wet n wild always blows me away with their impeccable formula that is hardly sticky. I have been a fan of their matte formula since inception. For my rating, I feel good going five out of five stars as I cannot let my negative feelings towards lip gloss impair my judgement. Just keep in mind that these colors are rather bold and playful, which works for the collection, but maybe not for everyday wear.

Blushlighter Palette

A note here about all of the palettes. The shades names can be found on the back, and they are scented!

This reminds me a lot of the blush palette from the Pacman collection. As the name implies, this palette features two highlighters and two blushes. This is a great palette to mix and match with as you can layer the highlighters over the blushes to act as blush toppers, or you can blend the blushes together for a custom look.

Hunny Bunny is a matte blush in a dark mauve shade, while Friendly Rivals features a small amount of shimmer in a plum shade. Each blush is richly pigmented, so always be sure to use a light hand and tap the excess product off of your brush! Friendly Rivals might be too much on my skin tone considering how deep it is, but I think darker complexions will appreciate it. You know I will use it anyway!

Call Me Nice swatches like a regular, metallic highlighter, but it applies as mostly glitter on the skin. If you do not like glitter highlights, that will not be the shade for you. Don’t Call Me Naughty is not as glittery as Call Me Nice, rather, it is more metallic and right up my alley. Admittedly, it is somewhat dark on my skin tone, but I do like the color and buildable formula.

This palette does have a sweet and sugary scent, but it is harder to put my finger on it. Maybe there is a berry scent going on here.

I am going to dock this palette one star due to the glittery highlights swatching better than they apply.

My Melody Shadow Palette

It features 16 shades in mattes, shimmers, and metallics. The color story is romantic pinks and neutrals. I am glad to see suitable options for the crease and for setting the eyelid.

Mariland looks purple in the pan, but it applies more as a pink purple on the eye, so it is somewhat deceptive. My Sweet Piano looks like a regular shimmer shade in the pan, but it applies almost like a pink glitter, which is not expected. I recommend wetting your brush to apply that one. There is not much difference visually between Pretty in Pink and Kawaii. Pound Cake is highly similar to the shade Tough as Nails from the Kuromi palette.

This palette does smell sweet and sugary with a berry undertone.

Overall, these act like typical eyeshadows from wet n wild, and I am pleased. They are easy to work with, and there is very little kick-up in the pan. I could use a few more matte shades for my taste, but the colors are gorgeous.

Kuromi Shadow Palette

It also features 16 shades in mattes, shimmers, and metallics. This color story is heavy on purples and dark, dramatic hues. There are no shades that I will use to set the eyelid or in the crease, so I will most likely seek the assistance of a second palette, or go ahead and use a dramatic purple in the crease.

Pretty in Pink reminds me a lot of My Sweet Piano from the My Melody palette in that it acts more like a glitter. I prefer to apply Mischief wet to really pack a punch. You can technically use Naughty in the crease for a dark taupe, ashy color, but I still like to see some brown options.

This palette does smell sweet and sugary with a grape undertone.

As I say about the My Melody palette, this is the eyeshadow formula that you know and love from wet n wild. Everything is easy to work with, with little to no kick up in the pan, or fallout on the face. I will dock it one star for the lack of crease and lid setting shades.

Makeup Looks

I am ending with two full-face makeup looks of all wet n wild products, using everything in this collection. Since we are dealing with two characters, one look is for My Melody, and the other is for Kuromi.

My Melody Look

The My Melody color scheme is heavy on the pink, so I am going all out and making everything pink. I am falling in love with the end result! Here is my list of products used:

Since the lip glosses and matte liquid lip colors correspond so well, I am going to show you what your lips will look like if you use the glosses as a topper. Both results for the My Melody products are gorgeous, but I will never grow tired of a matte lip.

Kuromi Look

The last look I am making with the wet n wild My Melody and Kuromi collection focuses on Kuromi with a dark, gothic color scheme. I am taking advantage of this opportunity to play with deep purples and pairing them with a punch of gold. Here is my list of products used:

Glitter Gel

These glitter gels are the same formula that WNW always uses. When first introduced they came in a pot with no inner lid which led to quick dry out. They changed the packaging to a squeeze tube which is perfect. This is their first pot with an inner lid. Be sure to keep it!

I have always loved the glitter gels. They are like body glitter but for adults! The formula is easy to apply and it dries down to last all day. If you want easy removal without spreading the glitter around your face use clear tape and pressing motions.

I enjoy using this product in so many ways! Across the nose and upper cheeks like freckles. Around the eye area for a dramatic touch. Or, over top of highlighter. Sometimes I use my fingers, other times a flat concealer brush.

Claims: This gel is ultra-concentrated to coat your skin in a high-impact, multi-dimensional shine. It should dry quickly and stay put. It can be layered up to be subtle or bold.

Glitter Mascara & Lash Curler Set

This is their standard eyelash curler and it is my favorite. I use WNW’s eyelash curler daily and it is the only one that I own. It grabs all of your eyelashes without pinching or tugging. This is a pain free experience.

We have seen this format of glitter mascara many times over. The skinny wand and gel formula are both designed to distribute product onto your eyelashes and brows but not to deliver any sort of benefits such as length, volume, or definition.

This lineup has a bit more color, but somehow, it is harder to see unless you look closely. I do not know why but these also clumped my eyelashes together when applied over regualr mascara. That normally does not happen.

Claims: The eyelash curler should lift and prep your lashes. The mascara should a add soft, fluttery look with bold sparkle.

Pink Dreams

Cream Blush

This is wet n wild’s first cream blush in this swirl format. The colors blend together to give you the most pretty lavendar and pink hues. The cream to powder claim is right! They fully set down. They are also highly blendable and buildable. The shimmer is light and not overdone. The entire formula is lightweight and does not remove coverage underneath.

Bite Me unfortunately fades almost completely. By the end of the day it looks like you are not wearing any blush. So sad because the purple is unique – somewhere between becoming more common on the market but still hard to obtain. Set it with a translucent powder if you want it to last! I did try this with the Moody Cutie powder but it will lighten it, as expected.

Cherry Bliss wears much better! Yes, it fades a little bit, as most blush does. I can still see it at the end of the day. No setting powder required.

Claims: This cream blush contains light-reflecting pearls. It should have a lightweight, cream to satin texture to be blendable.

Luminous Setting Powder

The formula is definitely wet n wild’s signature loose powder. It is one of the best! It fully sets your makeup and leaves the skin with a soft and slightly blurred appearance. It is hard to mess up and make it look heavy or cakey.

They have tried luminous powder before with the wet n wild Marilyn Monore collection, but the sparkle is less noticeable this time around. Do not get me wrong, it is there, but fine in a good way. As I age I do not want runway lights on my fine lines. The shimmer is there but you need to look close.

Now, these powders brighten the skin. It is nice for the under eyes, yet toned down enough that if you want to powder your entire face you will not look crazy. However, I do not see any color correction in terms of something special with the pink and purple tones.

They also released a pink powder in the wet n wild Hello Kitty collection but minus the shimmer and it is more pink in color.

Below I have a special comparison of all three pink powders: Hello Kitty, core line, Sugar Sparkle, plus Moody Cuite. You cannot see a difference between core line and Hello Kitty, but Sugar Sparkle looks almost white in contrast. If you like that pink under eye look where you connect the powder down to your blush, well, you will be disappointed here.

Claims: This powder should keep your makeup in place while giving you a soft, radiant glow. The fine formula should be blendable, blur imperfections, and absorb excess oil. Both the pink and purple should brighten and neutralize the skin.

Sugar Sparkle

Serum Primer

This is their first serum primer and I am curious if it will come to the core line. It dispenses with all of the colors mixed together but it comes out almost white with a hint of purple.

It is lightweight and it makes a nice base for your makeup to adhere to. It is slightly tacky but nothing like a sticky primer. I do not want to say that it moisturizes necessarily and you should not skip your skincare. It does make the skin feel prepped. It actually tries to fill my large pores and smooth them over a bit. It is not a 100% fill but it is trying to do something!

However, I am not seeing any color correction or brightening. I was really expecting a glow but my skin looks the same as it does with only my skincare on. There is really no change in appearance caused by this primer.

Makeup applies normally over top. I find that it does not hurt or extend wear time. I have oily combo skin and it does not make me shiny or oily!

Claims: This primer should give you a long-lasting makeup look. The formula should be lightweight and also color correct, prime, and brighten. It should give you a glow that you can wear on its own or under makeup.

Lip Gloss

Total 2000s vibes on this swirl lip gloss and I am all about it! The formula is a bit thicker so that it hangs on longer. With that being said, you still need to reapply as needed. It is not heavy but slightly sticky in a good way.

They will give your lips the faintest hint of pink or purple in a nice way. They are full on glitter. I am confused by the strawberry flavor claim… they taste the same as the rest of the collection which is berry.

I discovered that the top part of the cap where the keychain attaches can be removed! I am not sure what the purpose is as wet n wild does not address it. The applicator size is perfect and I love that the keychain clip is a bit bigger, making it more versatile if you want to remove it.

They do not dry out the lips. After removal your lips feel normal… no special effects.

Claims: These lip glosses should give a multidimensional shimmer and a hint of color. They should not be sticky and feature a strawberry flavor. They should keep your lips soft and smooth.

3-Piece Multistick Set

I have never been a fan of the multistick line. The reason is that I do not like how they feel on the lips, nor do they really hold up. They also crease on the eyes. After that, I am stumped by use.

I really tried to think of suitable uses for these that might sway my opinion. They do work as eyeliner! They stay in place all day. The colors in this particualar set are not impactful for eyeliner. They also work as good highlighter pops on the eye for the inner corner and browbone, especially with this shade lineup. You can even pat them onto the areas of the face that you use highligher for an extra pop. I would not do these things with every shade they have ever released, but I will give them a better star rating for these purposes.

When I put them on the lower lash line and smudge them out they end up settling into fine lines horribly. I always powder my under eyes and I do not have this problem virtually with any eyeshadow, liner, cream eyeshadow… anything. The multisticks will never be ‘it’ for me.

Claims: These sticks feature a velvety cream-to-powder formula that applies seamlessly to your eyes, cheeks, and lips.

3-Piece Cushion Sponge Set

We first got this set in the wet n wild 2025 new releases. The small sponge shape is a repeat, and the large round sponge is slightly different. I am really happy for the middle size they changed it to a triangle. It is the pefect size to do your whole face! The middle sponge in the permanent set being round causes lines in your makeup and you keep blending on repeat. The small one remains the best for detailed concealer work such as on the under eyes.

These spongs are super bouncy and you are supposed to use them wet. They have an elastic band. I find that they apply makeup no different than a traditional sponge, or wet n wild’s sponge for that matter. They do expand when wet to give you a skin-like blend.

So far I have been able to get all of the makeup out during washing. However, I am not sure that they are life changing over any other sponge.

Claims: These sponges have an innovative airy cushion material with a microporous outer layer. They should give you a seamless blend with a streak-free and airbrushed finish. They should also give you better product adhesion with minimal waste.

Lip Liner Lipstick

This is a new product for wet n wild! The tip shape is unique to allow you to both line and fill. It combines two products into one! The formula is very creamy and is full coverage in one swipe. They are matte. They do dry out my inner lip slightly. It does not make me mad and I will still reach for these.

They last pretty good all day, too. There is minimal transfer and if they do fade on you it is graceful. I hope they bring us more colors in the permanent line and maybe fix the dryness.

Claims: This is a 2-in-1 lip liner and lipstick. The tip fills, defines, and contours. The formula should be creamy and lightweight to glide on effortlessly. It will leave your lips soft and smooth.

Makeup Bag

We first saw this makeup bag design in the wet n wild Nightmare Before Christmas collection. It is one of my favorite designs! I took it on vacation and it holds the right amount of products and brushes for a full face as long as I do not go overboard.

You do not need both bags as they are the same. The material feels durable and easy to clean. I especially like the inner mesh compartment. The bag features a handle and cute zipper pulls.

They also pass my test of being able to hold the full collection.

Claims: These bags are designed to hold all of your favorites and keep them organize and accessible. They are made with durable materials and include a mesh zip pocket for smaller items.

My Melody

5-Piece Makeup Brush Set

I have always been a major fan of wet n wild’s brushes. These are no exception to their high quality. All of these brushes feel sturdy and soft. The extra touch of the charms is nice. You can actually remove them and wear them as rings.

Some of these brushes are repeats while others are new. We have definitely seen the domed powder brush, crease brush, and higlighter brushes before. I am happy that each set is different. If you are looking for some new brushes these are definitely worth it. I used them to do the makeup looks coming up soon and I have no complaints.

You already know that I love their brushes but I am especially reaching for the pencil brush and the rounded cheek brush. Now, the rounded cheek brush is not the superstar foundation brush that we got in both Hello Kitty and Spongebob, but, I find that it blends a full face of creams and liquids flawlessly even though it has more give. It is a winner! It is similar to the popular Patrick Ta brush and dupe brushes from elf, BK Beauty, and Dollar Tree. I believe this one is slightly smaller than those.

Below I outline the brushes that you get in each set.

Claims: These sets feature ultra-soft brushes and durable handles. They should make blending, defining, and buffing easy.

Hand Mirror

As I always say with these mirrors I would not throw them in my purse for fear they would get scratched up. But, they make a nice mirror for detail work and display alike. There is something about the thick plastic and glitter on these that is pleasing.

Claims: These mirrors are lightweight and portable for on-the-go touch ups. They should fit well into your hand.

Face Quad

I am a bit confused by these. There is no way that you can wear them as a blush. These are definitely highlighters with how much sparkle they have. It is not an overspray! They do have a lot of pigment. I recommend that you tap the excess off because you will end up with quite a lot. The tones are frosty.

I find that the powders are soft and beaming and they did layer over my cream makeup look just fine. They would be fun on the eye.

Claims: These shades allow you to glow and flush as they double as blush and highlighter. They should blend into a radiant and soft-focus finish.

Sweet Glow

Liquid & Gel Eyeliner Set

I really think these are Breakup Proof eyeliners but they are not telling you that. Starting with the Bunny Bloom Set.

Angelic is not a full coverage white, rather, a super pearly semi-sheer. It is very creamy without tugging and it lasts on the waterline. I wore it for 12 hours and it looked great.

The Lovely liquid liner is full coverage, dries matte, and is easy to apply. It lasts all day with no issues. There is no skipping or tugging. All around this is a great set.

The Twisted Cutie set is just as good as good. Mischief performs as well as Lovely. Tease is a sparkle black! It does not last as well on the waterline as Angelic, as it faded more on the inner and outer corner, but the application is the same. This is how all eyeliners wear on my waterline.

Claims: The liquid eyeliner should glide on with precise, crisp lines. The gel liner should give you bold color that lasts.

Glossy Lip Balm

This lip balm has more pigment than expected! It definitely has high medium coverage with shine. It is not meant to be long wearing, so you will need to re-apply it as needed. It does not dry out my lips, nor does it leave them feeling any kind of way.

The berry taste is there but it is somehow different than the other products. I really did not enjoy how Made Sweet tasted in my mouth. It is hard to describe. Skull Crush is better.

Claims: These balms wrap a conditioning outer layer around a fun-shaped core to give buildable color and shine. The formula should melt-in and glide on effortlessly for lips that are soft and smooth.

Eye & Face Palette

This is a different layout from the brand that feels modern. The colors are on par with what is popular in K-beauty today.

This is wet n wild’s signature formula that is soft, blendable, and buildable. Everything is true to color and even the purples are on point. Nothing is patchy. You get mattes, shimmers, and satins. The mattes do produce a lot of dust flying around in application.

There are no shade names but they are numbered 1-10 on the back. I find it highly interesting that very few shades are “eye” approved. Grunge Glam only has three eye safe shades, while Cozy Cuteness has one. I do use all of them on my eyes and nothing bad has happened to me, but you should follow instructions. The reason for this warning is not that they are unsafe for the eyes, but the pigments might stain the eye area.

Grunge Glam is a very well done purple palette, but both are true to color! As someone who does not gravitate to purple I actually used it again and I have a bonus look below outside of the makeup look that I did.

Claims: These palettes each have 10 hyper-pigmented pigments that should be soft and blend seamlessly. There is a mix of mattes, shimmers, and satins that can be built.

To recreate the bonus look, start by applying shade 4 on the inner half of the eyelid, then shade 5 on the outer half. Next, blend shade 3 into the crease. Then, apply shade 9 along the lower lash line, connecting it to the upper lash line. Now, highlight the brow bone and inner corner with shade 1. For eyeliner I applied shade 9, then I smoked it out with shade 10.

Cozy Cuteness

Lip Mask

wet n wild’s original lip mask formula is ok. Nothing to get worked up about. When they changed it for Hello Kitty that was the turning point. That formula is so good I bought a backup, and backups are rarely a good idea. Of course they would release more! The Spongebob lip mask, albiet they made it a thick jelly, is still the same lip mask. I finished Hello Kitty right as that came out.

Well, I am over the moon to report this is that same great/new formula! They are thick in a good way and really melt onto the lips. You get a clear super shine. I wear these before bed for lips that are super soft and smooth with exfoliation rarely needed. I keep saying these are their lip oils in a mask format!

If you want to wear them as lip prep or during the day for shine and extra care go right on ahead.

Claims: These masks contain lip-loving ingredients that melt onto the lips to give you a pillowy soft and smooth feeling. Wear them at night for deep conditioning or as prep for your favorite lip color.

Makeup Looks

I have done two full face of wet n wild makeup looks also using their tools. Of course, I had to do one look for each character.

My Melody

To recreate the eye look, start by applying shade 9 to the inner and outer part of the eyelid, leaving the center empty. Deepen the outer edges of shade 9 with 10. Then, apply shade 3 to the center of the eyelid. Now, blend out the crease with shade 4. Apply the Multistick in Kind Heart along the lower lash line and smudge it out. Then apply shade 10 to the outer corner of the lower lash line and connect it to the upper lash line. Finish by highlighting the brow bone and inner corner with the Multistick in Pure Whimsy. I also applied the pink liquid eyeliner and pink glitter mascara over Big Poppa black mascara.

Kuromi

I rushed the lip liner on this day and I totally did not get an even look. That is my fault and not the product.

To recreate the eye look start by applying shade 3 in the crease. Next, deepen the crease with shade 8. Now, apply shade 9 to the outer half of the eyelid. Then, deepen the outer corner with shade 10. Using your finger apply shade 4 to the inner half of the eyelid. Finish the look by highlighting the brow bone and inner corner with shade 1. I used the Naughty Nice Multistick as eyeliner and layered the purple glitter mascara over the So Defined black mascara.
