This time around we have the wet n wild Zodiac collection. I have all of the pieces which I am swatching, reviewing, and getting up-close and personal with for you.

Where To Buy

This collection is limited edition. Only the lip glosses remain in the permanent line. You can find them at Walmart, Walgreens, and on Amazon. However, for nostalgia, you can see the full collection offerings in the remainder of the article!

coloricon Lip Glosses

This collection of 12 glosses really breaks down into three categories. Category one is a clear gloss with super shimmery glitter, category two is a gloss with mid-range pigmentation, and category three is a super pigmented gloss that might as well be a liquid lipstick.

Take Aries as an example- I have no idea what black magic that wet n wild is using to get that kind of pigment out of a lip gloss, but I am stunned. The majority of the glosses are packed with glitters and shimmers, and the ones that are not have more of a chrome-like sheen.

You may wear these alone or over another lip color according to your personal preference. They feature a flat doe-foot applicator. I say to select your favorite colors out of the bunch, rather than buying all 12.

Makeup Bag

The free makeup bag included with a $25 purchase from the wet n wild Zodiac collection is a faux navy blue velvet material, featuring gold hardware and lettering. The bag itself is fairly spacious. It is able to hold the entire Zodiac collection, minus the loose highlighting powder. The design on the front of the bag displays your zodiac sign and name, and the back side has the wet n wild logo.

megaglo Highlighting Bars

The highlighting bar concept is not a new one for wet n wild. The Midnight Mermaid collection featured one bar in the same type of packaging.

I am definitely a fan of these bars. I do not think that the formulation is exactly the same as the beloved highlighting powders, but they pack an amazing punch that lasts all day and are just as good.

A little goes a long way with these, so try to be light-handed with your brush. In this lineup Fire is a bit too dark for fair skin, but that will not stop me from using it. I am not sure how often a blue highlighter such as Water will fit into my routine.

Air and Earth will be the ones that I will get the most use out of. I am enjoying that the 12 zodiac signs are imprinted in the product.

coloricon Eyeshadows

Join me for a moment as I sit back and appreciate how beautiful these color icon eyeshadows are. wet n wild has never created an eyeshadow in this format before. If you have ever seen an eyeshadow from Ofra, these are identical in design.

The colors in the lineup are gorgeous. As a warm-tone fan I am attracted to each eyeshadow, except for Air. Fire really stands out from the bunch for me because it reminds me of Naked Heat, which is easily one of my all-time favorite palettes.

I do have a complaint about Fire because there is not much variation between the shades. Earth and Water are simply beautiful. I can tell that the formula is the same as all of their eyeshadows. Some of the lighter shades struggle to produce pigment, such as the whites.

All of the shades are super shimmery, so if that is not your cup of tea, you may want to pass on these.

megaglo Loose Highlighting Powder in Written in the Stars

I can tell that the formula of this one is the same as the prior, just in a different shade. Written in the Stars is more of a cool-toned, gentle pink, while the one from the Goth-o-Graphic collection is more of a white gold.

I am digging the outside of the packaging and the star-shaped holes. This is another highlighter that you want to be light-handed with. Just the tiniest bit of powder will pack a serious punch on the skin.

wet n wild Zodiac Collection Bundles

I thought that it would be fun to end with a look at each of the bundles. Wet n wild offers the option to shop via bundles, but you still have to purchase the loose highlighting powder separately. I am including the bundles together so that you can see the hues side-by-side.
