wet n wild is coming in hot with all of the new limited time collections after a few months of quiet! I am proud to present to you the wet n wild Scooby Doo collection. This licensed collaboration is decently sized and features fun, yet wearable shades for most days. I will take you through each item in detail, including reviews, swatches, star ratings, and a makeup look. My job is to help you in deciding which items you want to add to your makeup bag.

Where To Buy The wet n wild Scooby Doo Makeup Collection

I will begin with where you can buy the collection! Both Amazon and wet n wild’s website contains the full lineup, including the PR box. Walmart stores have a full display, and many items online. With that being said, in terms of a wet n wild Scooby Doo release date, it is already available. Do note that Amazon has the product pictures flip flopped for the lip balm stains!

wet n wild Scooby Doo Old School Swag Shimmer Eyeliner

First for the wet n wild Scooby Doo makeup collection are two Old School Swag Shimmer Eyeliners. As we have seen with previous collections such as my wet n wild Alice in Wonderland review, these are limited edition shimmer shades of the Breakup Proof liquid eyeliners. They are super easy to apply with their precise tip! The formula dries matte, and fine glitters give the shimmer effect. Of course, it lasts well all day! I am more pleased with this selection, as Let’s Split Up actually shows up on the eye. Zoinks is not as powerful for pigment, but still shows up better than the Alice in Wonderland options.

Claims: This liquid eyeliner with shimmer effortlessly applies smoothly gliding without any skipping or pulling. It can be worn on its own or layered to create a variety of looks.

wet n wild Scooby Doo Scooby Snacks Lip Balm Stain

Second for the wet n wild Scooby Doo full makeup collection are two shades of Scooby Snacks Lip Balm Stain, which are exceptional for Fall! They used to have an entire line of these stains and discontinued them several years ago. I wish I would have given them a serious try, and now I want them back! These lippies give a strong wash of color to your lips, leaving behind some shine. After 30 minutes to an hour, the shine beautifully wears off to reveal a highly pigmented stain. My boyfriend said they are date night approved, because the stain lasts with kissing and eating! They never dry out the lips and are comfortable. I do not feel the need to use a lip liner, which is time saved. We need this line back permanentely!

Claims: This lip balm stain applies smoothly, akin to a traditional lip balm, and imparts a deeply pigmented color.

wet n wild Scooby Doo Puppy Power! Cream Blush

Third for wet n wild Scooby Doo makeup are two shades of Puppy Power! Cream Blush, which are new innovations for the brand. They feature a sping-loaded paw print sponge that you dip into the pot. I have to start to thread the lid in order for the sponge to reach the blush. These work great with a brush, too! You can even blend them with the provided sponge, your favorite sponge, or a brush. The packaging also includes a mirror. They remind me of K-beauty products! I find that both colors are buildable and so blendable. You do not have to worry about being heavy handed. They leave behind a subtle, fresh glow, but they last all day. They will feel somewhat tacky after drying down.

Claims: Highlighted by a sponge applicator adorned with a dog paw design, this cream-to-powder blush effortlessly blends onto the cheeks, delivering a subtle-to-customizable burst of color.

It’s Paw-ty Time

wet n wild Scooby Doo G-G-G-Ghost Glitter Palette

Fourth is the G-G-G-Ghost Glitter Palette. Usually wet n wild includes their glitters in the actual eyeshadow palette, but I am happy to see them packaged separately. This is their usual formula of fine glitters in a thick, clear gel. You can use them for any purpose, and you can easily pick them up with your finger or a brush. In my eye look at the end of this blog post I put some on my eyelid and I was surprised that very little traveled around into the crease at the end of the day. Below are the shade names found on the back of the palette from top to bottom:

Claims: For face and body, this unique blend of high-coverage self-adhering glitter dries quickly and provides an intense and lasting multi-dimensional sparkle. It comes with a shadow brush for easy application.

Fifth is the Mystery Slime Lip Mask. As with many of their collections, they bring us a limited edtion flavor of their permanent line mask. They apply clear so there is nothing to swatch. The sweet apple scent is delicious! Their formula does an excellent job of keeping lips hydrated and fixing dry, cracked, and sore spots.

Claims: The gel-like formula not only nourishes your lips but also imparts a boost of ingredients that leave your lips feeling thoroughly moisturized and luxuriously smooth.

Next is the Scooby Night 3-Piece Makeup Brush Set. At this point, they bascially release the same brushes in each collection but in a limited edition design. The handles on these brushes glow in the dark! They can be used for blush/bronzer, all over powder, and your eye crease. As always, their brushes are super soft and of high quality to gain my forever stamp of approval.

Claims: This glow-in-the-dark handle brush set, showcases exceptionally soft bristles designed to capture the ideal amount of product and seamlessly blend it for a flawless finish.

Here is the Glow Madness 3-Piece UV Glow Face & Body Crayon Set. These are nothing more than their Multi Stick line, so I am not sure why they have changed the name. Each shade is bold with high pigment and a matte finish. Generally speaking, I do not prefer the multi stick formula for some applications because they crease on the eye and feel somewhat drying on the lips.

Claims: Every crayon in this three-piece set offers vibrant neon colors that illuminate under UV light. The unique formula is effortless to apply and glides smoothly, while these body crayons are delicately enriched with vitamin E for a nourishing touch.

wet n wild Scooby Doo, Where Are You? Eye & Face Palette

Pressing on, this is the Scooby Doo, Where Are You? Eye & Face Palette. It contains a mix of shimmers and mattes that are so easy to blend, build, and work with. The shades are velvety soft and smooth with strong pigmentation. The only shade that I had trouble swatching was Creepy, but otherwise, this is a nice palette with the usual wet n wild quality. Below you can find a table of shade names, which are found on the back of the palette. The * denotes not for use on the eye.

Claims: Featuring 16 intensely pigmented shades, this palette has a combination of velvety mattes, sparkling shimmers, and radiant satins.

Next is the Stay Groovy Glow in the Dark Makeup Sponge. I am a huge fan of their sponge formula because it is super soft and bouncy for a perfect blend, all while not absorbing much product. You will never feel like you are beating your skin with a rock! This large format is best for body blending work.

Claims: A glow-in-the-dark makeup sponge crafted with hydrophilic technology ensures seamless, streak-free blending with every use. This generously sized, teardrop-shaped makeup sponge facilitates quick and easy application and blending of makeup on both the face and body.

Here is the Scooby Dooby Doooo! Hand Mirror and Keychain Set. When you read the claims you will wonder what on earth they were thinking, as this mirror has no handle or way to hang it! It is great for up close work, but I probably would not put it in my purse for fear of scratching it. The keychain is adorable, especially with the logo.

Claims: Whether hung on a wall or held in your hand, enjoy unlimited versatility with this hand mirror. The unique comfort-grip handle ensures a comfortable hold. As a bonus, the mirror comes with an adorable keychain modeled after Scooby’s dog tag!

wet n wild Scooby Doo Damsels Not In Distress 2-Piece Retractable Eyeliner Set

Continuing on, this is the Damsels Not In Distress 2-Piece Retractable Eyeliner Set. It features two full pigment gel eyeliners that are basically the Breakup Proof line. Each shade really pops with a matte finish and fine shimmer. They glide well over the eye without skipping or tugging. Aditionally, they last on the water line and do not irritate the eyes. My eyes are exceptionally watery, and I see faint fading at the inner and outer corner, which I expect.

Claims: The gel formula delivers richly-pigmented color in every effortlessly, smooth application.

This is the Mystery Machine Makeup Bag. It is an awesome size and feels to be of quality. The details are so great with glow in the dark aspects and clear material for the windows. It passes my test of fitting the entire collection in it with flying colors! It even has room to spare.

Claims: This playful glow-in-the-dark makeup bag is just the right size to carry all your essential cosmetics.

wet n wild Scooby Doo RUH-ROH! 3-Piece Nail Polish Set

Last is the RUH-ROH! 3-Piece Nail Polish Set. It contains three limited edition shades of their Fast Dry AF formula. You get full coverage with two coats and incredible shine. With proper care, they will look good up to seven days. In my original wet n wild Fast Dry AF Nail Color review I do bust the dry time claims, but this is still one of my favorite formulas.

Claims: With the Fast Dry AF formula, these ultra-smooth colors provide complete coverage with just one swipe and dry in under 30 seconds.

I am ending with a full face of wet n wild makeup look, featuring the collection. Since we have cream blush, I have done a full cream/liquid complexion, only with some targeted powdering. Below are the products that I used:

To recreate the eyeshadow look, start by applying A Little Batty in the crease. Next, deepen the crease with Pawsome. Now, apply The Brains to the eyelid. Then, apply Scoob to the outer-v and along the lower lash line. After all of that, go into the Glitter Palette and apply Team Spirit onto the eye lid over top off The Brains. Finish the eyeshadow look by highlighting the brow bone and inner corner with Spooky. For liner, I applied Jinkies on the lower lash line, and a quick flick of Let’s Split Up at the outer corners.

Conclusion

In summary, this is a solid collection from the brand. All of the colors and shade names are perfectly on point. I love when they innovate like they did with the blush. They also brought back an old school product with the lip balm stain. This is a superior collection for any makeup lover or collector, independent of skill level.
