Release Date
wet n wild does not really work on a traditional release date system. Instead, products tend to start appearing in stores, people spot them and share them online, and eventually the brand takes to social media with an official collaboration announcement. That was the case here, with shoppers first finding the Hershey collection in stores in mid-August 2026. wet n wild officially announced the collaboration on Instagram the first week of September 2026.

The Hershey Trick or Treat collection ranges from $6 to $16. The $6 products include the Jolly Rancher Blushes, Jolly Rancher Lip Oils, and Twizzlers Lip Glosses. The full collection is available on wet n wild. Amazon currently has 12 items rather than the full collection, and the makeup bag is definitely missing from its selection.
The collection is also showing up at CVS both in stores and online, although CVS does not have the brushes or makeup bag. Walgreens has been carrying the collection in stores, but it does not appear to have the full collection there either, with the brushes and makeup bag likely among the missing items. Walgreens does not currently have the collection online.
Walmart has the collection both in stores and online. The online selection appears to still be rolling out, while the full collection can be found in stores.
Ulta does not have the collection online yet, but wet n wild has confirmed in an Instagram comment that it will be coming to Ulta.

The packaging details are where the Halloween theme really comes through, with each product built around its respective candy inspiration. Each sweet treat gets their own candy-inspired designs, while the makeup bag takes the Halloween theme a step further with its pumpkin shape and trick-or-treat aesthetic. Over the past few years wet n wild has been releasing two Halloween collections in tadem. Hershey’s Eye & Face Palette
The Hershey’s Eye & Face Palette is a six-shade eyeshadow palette with a chocolate scent that adds an extra sensory touch to the collection. The scent is definitely noticeable, although it is not nearly as strong as something like Too Faced.
The shadows feel silky smooth to the touch, almost creamy, which makes them especially pleasant to work with. They are pigmented while still being buildable, so you can start with a softer wash of color and layer the shades for more intensity.
There is also nice differentiation among the six shades, giving the palette enough variation to create different looks without the colors feeling redundant. The formula is easy to build and blend, making application straightforward.
The mattes do have some kickup in the pan, but that was the only issue I noticed with the formula. There are no individual shade names. The shades are numbered 1 through 6 on the back of the palette, with shade 2 labeled as not eye safe.
Claims: The palette features six richly pigmented shades in smooth matte and shimmer finishes, with chocolate-inspired neutrals and cocoa-toned colors. The blendable, buildable formula can be layered to create everything from everyday makeup to full-glam looks, while the palette is scented like a Hershey’s chocolate bar.

Hershey’s 3-Piece Makeup Sponge & Puff Set
The Hershey’s 3-Piece Makeup Sponge & Puff Set includes a teardrop sponge, mini powder puff, and larger double-sided cushion sponge and puff. wet n wild’s sponge is already one of my favorites, so I was excited to see it included here. I love the material because it expands when wet, feels super soft and bouncy, and does not absorb a ton of product. The teardrop shape is my favorite, too.
The puffs are a first for wet n wild. I already love the brand’s permanent-line puff and use it daily, so I was happy to see a mini version included here. The mini teardrop puff fits perfectly onto one finger and is best for precision placement, especially around the nose and under the eyes.
The larger cushion sponge and puff is an entirely new concept for wet n wild. The brand already makes thicker, bouncy cushion sponges and also sells a powder puff, but this combines the two into a flatter design. In some ways, it reminds me more of the Real Techniques or Beautyblender Pocket Puff style than wet n wild’s usual cushion sponge or powder puff.
The shape is the part I am least sold on. It is almost like a square or a piece of bread with a bite taken out of it. I really think a triangle shape would be better, but I understand that the shape needs to fit the Hershey theme. I am also curious about the application method because cushion sponges are typically used damp, while powder puffs are not meant to be wet, so you cannot actually wet this one.
I applied wet n wild’s Niacinamide Skin Tint with the cushion side dry, and it went on just as beautifully as it always does. The cushion makes you think of a K-beauty cushion foundation, and the closest equivalent would be a skin tint. It gave me the same skin-like, smooth application I expect from this product.
That said, the Niacinamide Skin Tint is an incredible product on its own, so I have to wonder how much of that result was the makeup doing the heavy lifting. I do not think the cushion side is necessarily life-changing. I also found myself not really appreciating the shape, particularly when trying to work around the crevices of my nose.
Claims: The set includes a Double-Sided Cushion Sponge & Puff, Mini Powder Puff, and Teardrop Sponge for applying and blending liquids, creams, and powders. The double-sided sponge and puff features plush and velvety textures with curved edges for blending around facial contours, while the mini puff is designed for targeted touch-ups. The teardrop sponge has a rounded base and precision tip for blending larger areas and hard-to-reach spots.

Lip Balm
The lip balms use the same squeeze-tube format we first saw in the wet n wild Winnie the Pooh collection. The formula is a glossy, melting lip balm with a soft, cushiony applicator and a collectible candy-themed keychain charm. It is also very trendy right now, so the format feels right at home in this collection.
You really only need to buy one of these. I would pick your favorite candy because they are all clear with a sheer wash of color. Twizzlers is red, Hershey’s is brown, Reese’s is yellow-orange, and Jolly Rancher is pink, although that one really just looks clear on the lips.
The formula is super shiny, glossy, and juicy, with a slightly thicker texture that reminds me of a melting lip balm. That thicker feel is not a bad thing, though. It is not sticky or heavy, and it smooths nicely over the lip lines without leaving my lips feeling coated in an uncomfortable way.
The balms are flavored, although the flavor goes away pretty quickly. They also have that melting quality in a way that is noticeable outside of application. I was swatching them on my hand to film my Reels, and as time went on, the first swatches started to run a bit.
When I reviewed the Winnie the Pooh versions, I found that the balm completely wore off after putting it on and talking for two hours straight while sipping water from a straw. That was fine because a glossy lip is not meant to be long-wearing, although this type of formula typically hangs on a little longer. These new versions still behave more like a thin gloss, but the shine is hanging on longer this time around, so I would say the formula has improved a bit.
You will still need to reapply as needed, especially after eating. Even after messy food, the color and shine wear away, but I can still feel the formula coating my lips somewhat like a lip mask. Reapplying does not cause it to gunk up, either.
I also find that these help soften the dead skin on my lips, which makes exfoliation easier. I would not call them particularly conditioning, though. For me, they are more about the glossy, juicy finish and the way they soften the surface of the lips.
I saw some interest around the ingredients in wet n wild Hershey’s Kisses Lip Balm so I am including those here.

Twizzlers Lip Gloss
The Twizzlers Lip Gloss comes in Cherry and Strawberry, with a sweet scent and a sheer wash of color. Cherry gives the lips a sheer red tint, while Strawberry has a sheer pink tint. The color is definitely there without being opaque.
The gloss is super shiny and does a nice job of smoothing over the appearance of lip lines. It is not sticky or goopy, and you can reapply as needed without it becoming heavy or uncomfortable.
The formula is not heavy per se, but I can feel it on my lips somewhat like a lip oil. It wears away every few hours, even if I am just talking, so it needs occasional reapplication.
The triangular applicator hugs the lips nicely and makes application easy. Despite the glossy finish and noticeable formula, it does not otherwise change how my lips feel.
Claims: This lip gloss features a jelly-like texture that delivers a juicy, high-shine pop of color. The lightweight formula can be built from sheer to bold while keeping lips glossy and smooth, with a sweet cherry Twizzlers-inspired scent.

Jolly Rancher Blush
The Jolly Rancher Blush comes in Watermelon and Grape, with both shades featuring a sweet scent and a slightly domed shape. The domed pan and the feel of the formula make these seem like they could be baked blushes, although wet n wild does not describe them that way.
These blushes are very pigmented. You can build them up, but they are intense right away, so if you prefer a softer flush, I would use a fluffier, less dense brush or tap off the excess before applying.
Both shades have the slightest hint of shimmer, but they still give the cheeks a smooth finish. The formula is another winner for me. It is not powdery, there is no kickup in the pan, and it blends nicely.
If the blushes fade, it is difficult to tell. Any fading is very slight so the color continues to look good throughout wear.
I would say both shades can work on fair skin. It really comes down to the brush you use and how much product you apply. Watermelon is slated for fair to medium skin, while Grape is intended for darker skin tones, but the extra pink in Grape makes it more of a berry shade rather than a true purple, which makes it more universal. As someone with fair skin, I find that some purple blushes can look more like a bruise or make me look sick, but that is not the case with this one.
Claims: This blush delivers candy-bright color with a smooth, soft-focus finish. The lightweight powder formula applies evenly with a soft satin-matte finish and can be blended and layered to build the desired intensity. It has a juicy scent for a sweet, candy-inspired touch.

Jolly Rancher Lip Oil
The Jolly Rancher Lip Oil comes in Green Apple and Blue Raspberry, and wet n wild absolutely nailed the candy inspiration here. Not only do they smell like the respective Jolly Rancher flavors, but the oils themselves look just like the candy, complete with their clear green and blue tints.
The packaging and applicator use wet n wild’s typical format for its lip oils, which I already love. Despite the colored appearance in the tube, both shades apply completely clear to the lips. You definitely do not need both unless you want both flavors. I would just pick your favorite.
This is the same formula I love from wet n wild’s lip oils. It is super shiny and leaves my lips feeling hydrated and conditioned without being oily, heavy, or sticky. The finish is glossy without becoming gloopy, although it does wear off pretty quickly, so you will need to reapply as needed.

Reese’s Bronzer and Glow Duo
The Reese’s Bronzer & Glow Duo comes in Gold and Bronze, pairing a matte bronzer with a multi-shade highlighter. The bronzers are buildable and have a nice formula that does not get muddy or orange. They are almost more like contour shades, although I would not call them exactly that. Either way, they offer more definition than a typical warm bronzer. The formula is not powdery and there is no kickup in the pan.
The highlighter is so pretty. It gives an ethereal, lit-from-within glow that leans more metallic than glittery. I personally like to swirl my brush through all of the highlighter shades together, which gives a really pretty multidimensional finish.
Both the bronzer and highlighter are scented, and I did not notice the pigment of either one fading during wear.
The shade pairings are where I think this duo gets confusing, especially when it comes to fair skin. The darkest bronzer is paired with the lighter, more fair-skin-friendly highlighter, but that bronzer is too toasty brown for me. The lighter bronzer, meanwhile, is paired with the darker highlighter. So if you have fair skin, you would need to buy both palettes to get the bronzer and highlighter shades that work best for you. The same issue applies in reverse for deeper skin tones. I would have flip-flopped the pairings.
Claims: The duo combines a smooth, soft-matte bronzer with five highlighter shades for a warm, luminous complexion. The buildable, blendable powders can be worn individually or swirled together for a multidimensional glow, with a seamless, melt-into-skin finish. The duo is infused with the scent of peanut butter cups.

4-Piece Makeup Brush Set
The 4-Piece Makeup Brush Set does not contain any new brush designs. We have seen these exact brushes many times over in previous wet n wild collections, but what makes this set special is the candy-inspired designs.
The quality of wet n wild brushes is top tier, in my experience. They last me for years even with daily use, and I have never had them shed or fall apart. They also have a feeling of quality to them, with super-soft bristles that make them pleasant to use.
The bronzer brush is small enough to use for contouring and precise brush placement, but it also works well for more targeted bronzer application. The powder brush is the perfect size for applying powder all over the face.
The crease brush is one I have used a million times, and the same goes for the eyeshadow C brush. If you already own wet n wild brushes from previous collections, you probably have these exact shapes in your collection already. The appeal here is getting those familiar, reliable brushes in the special Hershey-inspired designs.
Claims: The set includes a Powder Brush, Bronzer Brush, Eyeshadow Brush, and Crease Brush for face and eye application. Each brush features ultra-soft bristles and a durable handle designed for smooth, even blending. The brushes can be used with powders, creams, and liquids for versatile application.

The pumpkin makeup bag is soft yet sturdy and feels like a nice-quality piece. The zipper moves smoothly, and despite its compact size, it is surprisingly deep. I can easily fit the entire collection inside with room to spare.
The exterior should be easy to wipe clean, while the fabric interior is a little less practical in that regard. The fun candy-inspired design makes up for that, though, especially because wet n wild managed to keep the bag small enough that it does not feel bulky while still giving you plenty of depth.
I am especially excited that they went with a jack-o’-lantern makeup bag. It feels more unique than the typical makeup bag designs we see, and I love that it fits the Halloween theme without being another basic candy print. In fact, this is the first time I will be traveling in October, and I will absolutely be bringing this with me!
Claims: The pumpkin-shaped makeup bag features a Halloween-inspired exterior with an all-over candy print inside. It has a full zip closure with a candy-charmed zipper, a roomy interior for makeup, brushes, and accessories, and a comfortable top handle with a sturdy exterior for travel.

Best Products from the wet n wild Hershey Collection for Fair Skin
For fair skin, the wet n wild Hershey Halloween collection has several products that are particularly easy to work with. The Jolly Rancher Blushes are a standout because both Watermelon and Grape can work on fair skin. Watermelon is intended for fair to medium skin, while Grape is aimed at deeper skin tones, but its berry coloring makes it much more wearable on fair skin than a true purple blush.
The Hershey’s Eye & Face Palette is another easy pick for fair skin. The six shades have good differentiation, and the pigmented yet buildable formula makes it easy to control the intensity.
I would be more selective with the Reese’s Bronzer & Glow Duo. The bronzers are more sculpting shades than traditional warm bronzers, but the way the shades are paired with the highlighters is confusing for fair skin. The lighter bronzer is paired with the darker highlighter, while the darker bronzer is paired with the lighter highlighter. For my fair skin, the darker bronzer is too toasty brown, so I would have preferred the shades to be flip-flopped.

To recreate the eyeshadow look, start by applying shade 1 high in the crease. Next, deepen the crease with shade 4. Then, apply shade 3 onto the inner and outer part of the eyelid leaving the center blank. Use your finger to tap shade 2 onto the center of the eyelid. Now, deepen the corners of shade 3 with shade 6. Apply shade 5 along the lower lash line. Highlight the browbone and inner corner with your Reese’s highlighter of choice.
