The final empties review of the year is here. Much to the theme of 2023, this roundup is on the lighter side for me, coming in at 10 products. This December 2023 empties review has plenty of name brands and expensive finds in sample sizes, and the results might surprise you! The reviews coming in subsequent months should be much larger, as the holidays always refill my stock pile. For now, enjoy my detailed reviews, shopping links, and I will let you know if I want to buy anything again.

December 2023 Empties At A Glance

• 10 products covered in spped reviews.

• A mixture of drugstore and high-end brands.

• These products support a pamper routine.

• Some promininent hits and misses.

Skincare

First in this December 2023 empties review is six skincare items.

  • Patchology Serve Chilled Rose Eye Gels: These eye gels stay on the skin and have a nice rose fragrance. They leave your under eyes looking brighter and feeling hydrated. I got some more in my after Christmas 2023 haul.
  • Bliss Jelly Glow Peel Gentle Exfoliator: This physcial exfoliator is very gentle with a gel texture. My skin feels noticeably softer after use. I am not planning on buying it again as using a chemical exfoliant is my personal preference.
  • Juice Beauty Bamboo Pore Refining Mask: This is a bamboo charcoal and kaolin clay mask that mostly dries down. It leaves the skin clarified and revitalized. The creamy texture applies smoothly and it will not dry you out. It has a natural scent and a cooling sensation. I have no plans to buy it again.
  • Lancer Nourish Rehydration Mask: This is a creamy mask that does not dry down. The velvety texture is not heavy or greasy. It leaves the skin plump and supple. The full size is $100 which is way out of my budget.
  • Skin Proud Bright Eye Pomegranate Gel-Cream: This eye cream is lightweight and non-greasy to hydrate the under eyes. It does contain brightening ingredients to give your under eyes a bit of a boost. I do not regularly use eye creams in my routine as they are not necessary, so I will not buy it again.
  • Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Cleanser: This face cleanser has a gel formula that does a good job of cleansing and moisturizing the skin. It does promote an acne-friendly skincare routine. I find that it is both gentle and thorough. I never buy it on my own because it comes in sets. You can read more in my Sunday Riley All About Acne Kit review.

Body

Second for this December 2023 empties review is two body care products.

  • Cowshed Indulge Blissful Bath & Shower Gel: This body wash has a strong rose scent. The formula is effective and cleansing the skin but not stripping your natural moisture barrier. It leaves my skin feeling both soft and hydrated. You may also use it as a bubble bath! I typically use whatever body wash that I have on hand so I will not buy this again.
  • Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Body Lotion: This body lotion has a non-greasy formula that leaves your skin feeling soft and supple. This lotion absorbs quickly. It is fragrance-free. I have no plans to buy again, as my favorite lotion costs less.

Hair & Fragrance

Last for this December 2023 empties review is a mix of haircare and fragrance.

  • Body Fantasies Powdery Baby Cotton: This body spray smells exactly like you would expect – cotton fresh baby powder. Personally, I am never into these kinds of scents. But, it is perfectly good if it is your thing. It does a linger a bit too. I will not buy it again.
  • Virtue Restorative Treatment Mask: This hair conditioning mask leaves my hair feeling a bit dry and tangly, so it does not work well for me. It might work better for you. It has a thicker formula. I would not buy the full size.

Conclusion

In summary of this December 2023 empties review, these products are good for the most part, but I have no particular reason to buy them again, as my goal is to squash my stash. My stockpile is now refilled after the holidays, and it primarily means a lot of masks will be coming your way in the new year. I am super proud of myself for not overloading my stockpile with body wash, face wash, body spray, or moisturizer! I really want to work on what I already have, or “shop my stash” as some say. Until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.
