This March 2023 empties review features 13 items, which are mostly skincare masks. I have had a lot going on during this month, which has caused me to be less attentive to using up products. I definitely want to get back into the habit for April! There are still some quick hit masks to work on. As I always do, I will take you through each product and detail whether or not I would repurchase.

Skincare

I am starting this March 2023 empties review off with 10 skincare items.

  • Bliss Makeup Melt Oil-Free Makeup Remover Wipes: These wipes remind me a lot of my favorite and OG Neutrogena wipes. They are thick and sturdy to successfully remove makeup, and they do not burn my eyes. I still prefer to add micellar water for extra wetness, but they are not terrible on their own. While these are not bad wipes, I will not repurchase because you can get less expensive ones that are just as good. I prefer to not use wipes.
  • Bliss Holographic Foil Eye Masks: These eye masks stay on the face well and provide hydration while de-puffing. You will not get much of a brightening effect, but these work for their intended purpose. I have no plans to buy again.
  • Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs, and Rosewater: I know a lot of people are obsessed with this spray, but I do not really get it. It does provide a light level of hydration to the skin, and perhaps a faint glow. Otherwise, there is not a lot going on to cause me to buy more.
  • Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Waterproof: This micellar water perfectly does the job of removing makeup and cleansing the skin, even with waterproof products. It never burns my eyes. The only reason why I do not repurchase it is that my favorite micellar water also hydrates my skin like a moisturizer. I talk more about micellar water in my blog post on how to remove makeup easily.
  • Sunday Riley Auto Correct Brightening and Depuffing Eye Cream: This eye cream is one of my favorites because it visibly brightens the under eye area, while also moisturizing and de-puffing. If I am ever in the market for a high-end eye cream, this is my pick.
  • Physicians Formula 24 Karat Gold Collagen Serum: This serum sinks into the skin instantly without leaving a residue, and it layers well with other skincare. You can see the gold flecks on your skin faintly, almost like glitter. Overall, I did not see special effects to make me want to buy again.
  • Freeman Charcoal + Black Sugar Deep Cleansing Mud Mask: This is one of my all-time-favorite charcoal mud masks because the formula is the real deal, and it is good for dry skin. I would consider buying this if I ever used up all of my masks.
  • Freeman Cucumber + Pink Salt Rejuvenating Clay Mask: I like Freeman’s clay formula, but I cannot prove that my skin is being rejuvenated at all. The smell is nice and the mask is pleasant to use for some self-care time. I normally get this mask in gift sets, so I have no reason to seek it out separately.
  • Freeman Look on the Bright Side Energizing Lemongrass Rich Cream Mask: This cream mask does help to brighten the skin in a way that looks natural. It is part of a limited-time set that is no longer available.
  • Freeman You Glow Girl Hydrating Superberry Bouncy Jelly Mask: I do find that this mask helps to hydrate the skin. You might like it if you have a dry skin type. Just like the lemongrass mask above, this is no longer available.

Others

I am ending this March 2023 empties review with three other beauty items:

  • Soap and Glory The Righteous Butter: This is a thick and rich body lotion that successfully hydrates the skin all day. It features their Original Pink scent which lasts well. I never make plans to buy it again because I always get it in gift sets.
  • Body Fantasies Sweet Sunrise Fantasy: This is a fruity and floral body spray that contains mandarin, honeysuckle, sandalwood, and vanilla. I do find it to be enjoyable, but it does not push me to buy it again.
  • Nyx The Marshmallow Primer: This primer does give a smooth base for makeup application, but it does not fill in lines or pores. I do not find that it extends wear time at all. I will not repurchase it.

Conclusion

In summary of this March 2023 empties review, it is on the smaller side despite being a long month because I have been quite busy. As things calm down, I expect to dive back into my masks. While the year progresses, I look forward to knocking out large bottles of body spray, moisturizer, and face wash. It is always a good feeling getting your monies worth out of each and every item, and I am blessed to be able to share this experience with you. Until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.
