I have another small roundup in this July 2023 empties review. Out of the six products, they are split down the middle between skincare and haircare. Every brand here is top tier and well known! Even more exciting, many of these are full size products that have taken a while to use up. I have a lot of positive thoughts to share before you buy, even if I will not repurchase all of these.

Skincare

I am starting this July 2023 empties review with three skincare items:

  • Bliss Makeup Melt Oil-Free Makeup Remover Wipes: These are some of my favorite makeup wipes because they are decently thick and effective. They do not push the makeup around your face. I do wet them with micellar water, which does not mean that these are bad, but I like mine fairly wet. They smell like the Neutrogena wipes, which are some of the best from the drugstore. Ultimately, these are good, but I will not buy them again only because I want to move away from wipes. I have some great tips and products on this subject in my blog post on how to remove makeup easily.
  • Bliss Jelly Glow Peel: This is a great option for a physical exfoliant that is soft and gentle, yet effective. You simply massage the gel around your face and it pills up as it removes debris. The only reason that I will not buy it again is that I prefer a chemical exfoliant, but I do have another tube of this.
  • elf Pure Skin Cleanser: This cleanser effectively does its job, but the added bonus is that it makes your skin feel super soft like a babies bottom. The formula is creamy. I have more details about it in my elf Pure Skin review. I would rather repurchase their acne face wash because I need that more than this formulation.

Haircare

I am ending the July 2023 empties with three hair care items.

  • Dove Clarify & Hydrate Shampoo: This is a great clarifying shampoo! It really gets all of the product out of your hair while leaving it feeling lightweight and gently hydrated. My boyfriend especially liked it as someone that uses a lot of hair gel, and he wanted me to buy more. It is discontinued.
  • Dove Clarify & Hydrate Conditioner: The conditioner is a nice complement to the shampoo in terms of hydrating and giving you that conditioned feel, yet supporting the clarifying effort. Again, this is discontinued.
  • Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating Mask: This mask makes my hair feel exactly how it does after I use the Moroccanoil conditioner. Meaning, it did not feel like I used a deep conditioner mask. There are no special effects here to warrant a repurchase, but generally speaking, I like the intense hydrating line because I get actual hydration and softness from it.

Conclusion

In conclusion of this July 2023 empties review, the selection is small but the products are mighty. I have good things to say about nearly everything here, and I can recommend these products if you feel they will be a fit in your routine. As we creep closer to the last quarter of the year, there will be more face wash, body wash, moisturizer, and shampoo to come. Until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.

When was the last time you knocked out a full-size product?
