You already know that I am going to complain if the month was longer I could have had just a few more empties! But, it is true! There are some items that are dangerously close to being done. Hey, I got to 15 items for this February 2024 empties review and that is something to celebrate. I finally used up a primer that has been years in the making – literally. Please stick around for my rapid fire reviews as I let you know what is worth the rebuy.

February 2024 Empties At A Glance

• 15 empties from popular brands.

• The reviews are skincare heavy.

• Some top-favorites and high-end picks are included.

• Rapid-fire reviews cover a set of skincare masks.

Skincare

First for this February 2024 empties review is six skincare items.

  • Soap & Glory Vitamin C Facial Wash: This facial cleanser provides a thorough cleanse without causing breakouts. According to my boyfriend, it feels like it is deeply cleaning and healing his skin in some way. I still have two more bottles left to use!
  • Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream: This moisturizer keeps my skin hydrated all day and pairs well with other skincare and makeup products. I like that it is fragrance-free and does not contain any dyes. However, it does not control oil production well for me; it is one of the least effective moisturizers in that regard. It is not suitable for combination skin, but to be fair, it is marketed for dry skin. I will not repurchase.
  • Goldfaden MD Vital Boost Even Skintone Daily Moisturizer: This moisturizer is a lightweight cream, which surprisingly helps with some oil control. That is unusual for this formula type. It does layer fine with other skincar and makeup. I have no reason to buy the full size.
  • belif Moisturizing Eye Bomb: This eye cream does a good job of hydrating the skin. It will not give a glow effect. It layers fine with skincare and makeup. Eye creams are mostly unnecessary, as your moisturizer alone is enough. I will not repurchase.
  • elf Lip Exfoliator in Brown Sugar & Coffee: I love these lip exfoliators because they are effective, yet gentle. The downside is that the formula is so soft and almost melty, they get used up quicky. The product gets all over the bullet and cap no matter how hard I try to avoid that. Once the full line is used up I would not repurchase. You can see all of the flavors in my elf Lip Exfoliator review.

My Beauty Spot Masks

To re-iterate my remarks from my Janaury 2024 empties review, I have tried out even more of the My Beauty Spot Essence Face Mask set. The set is nearly emptied. Each mask provides enough product for two uses or a generous single application. What is interesting is that despite each mask supposedly having a different key ingredient or benefit, they all look and feel the same – a white cream with identical texture and scent. I have not noticed any significant results from using these masks. This set is not available for purchase and is not worth it anyway. Here are the round two empties:

  • Collagen
  • Rose Hip
  • Hemp
  • Tea Tree
  • Aloe Vera

Body/Fragrance

Third for February 2024 empties is two body items.

  • Soap & Glory The Scrub Of Your Life: This body wash and scrub combo is effective and gentle at removing dead skin. It also gets a bit sudsy, all with the Original Pink scent. I never repurchase this because I get it in gift sets.
  • Body Fantasies Pink Sweet Pea Fantasy: This is my all-time-favorite bodyspray scent! The floral pink sweet pea scent is simply delicious. I have more of it than any person should own, so I purposely used this bottle up. I will always repurchase this scent.

Makeup

Last for this February 2024 empties review is two makeup items.

  • Urban Decay All Nighter Ultra Matte Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray: I love the original All Nighter spray and truly believe that it extends makeup wear time, besides setting your look. The matte version does the same, and it is effectively matte without being dry. The problem is that it spits milky droplets of the spray onto your face, and you have to use your sponge to sop them up quickly before it dries. Otherwise, it messes up your look. I have tried shaking the bottle well and sometimes the droplets still happen. I will not repurchase this, but the original is great.
  • Urban Decay Optical Illusion Complexion Primer: This primer slightly filled some of my pores, but it was unable to fully do the job. I could only use it on the nose area, anywhere else it wanted to pill. Makeup applies normally over top. I did not feel that it did anything special for wear time. This is discontinued.

Conclusion

In summary of this February 2024 empties review, you have read about some of my OG favorites that come around time and time again. Some of my negative remarks on rather well-liked items might be surprising, but I like to keep it real. I am pleased with my progress on moisturizer, and I am close to working on huge bottles of body spray. I think the elf scrubs will be easy to use up this year. This time around I did not get back into those INC body masks, but I definitely will again. Until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.
