It is an annual tradition that I bring you Halloween makeup from wet n wild, and I always look forward to it. For Halloween 2022 we have the wet n wild Fantasy Makers Bedeviled collection. As always, there are new items along with repeats from past years. This post normally gets published about a mont earlier, but I faced a challenge getting my hands on everything. But, I am giving you the most details that you will find anywhere, including reviews, notes, swatches, ratings, looks, and more.
Notes On wet n wild Fantasy Makers 2022
I am starting with my fully detailed notes on the wet n wild Fantasy Makers Bedeviled collection! I normally do product comparisons, as wet n wild is notorious for re-releasing products under new names and acting like they are new. This year’s collection is pretty cut and dry – you either have new items, or re-releases with the same name and package.
Please note, I never buy the “costume” items, which include the paint palettes, paint pots, stencils, or glitter palettes. I would never use them, which is a waste of money. I bring you the makeup that you can work into your routine.
With this being said, if there is an item that is “missing” from this post because it is a re-release, you can see my reviews and swatches in past blog posts. At the bottom of this post there is a grid containing links to all of my Fantasy Makers content.
When you shop the Fantasy Makers display in stores, you will see many products from their every day line. Here is a rundown of what repeats exist:

Where to Buy Fantasy Makers Circus Bedevil From wet n wild
I had a particularly hard time getting my hands on all of the wet n wild Fantasy Makers 2022 items! My local Walmart usually puts a display out at the beginning of September. This year, it did not come out until October. I ended up buying everything on Amazon over the course of several orders. I dealt with odd shipping dates on Amazon, saying products would arrive in one to two months, and product listings trickling in. My other local stores (CVS and Rite Aid) did not get the products.
With all of this being said, these products are available now at:

- wet n wild: they advertised a September 27 release date on their website, however, the products have yet to be released at the time of this writing. There are few items listed anyway.
wet n wild Fantasy Makers Bedevil Collection
wet n wild megalast Matte Lip Color in Teal to Bedevil
First from wet n wild Fantasy Makers Bedeviled is the only new lipstick shade, the megalast Matte Lip Color in Teal to Bedevil. Over the years we have been given other Halloween shades, plus an entire range in their permanent line. This is the same great matte cream finish that you know and love. It never dries out the lips, nor does it get flakey. You get full pigment in one swipe that feels good on the lips. It will transfer, but it layers well for touch-ups.
Claims: This vibrant lipstick should glide on easily and leave your lips soft and beautiful to keep touchups minimal. It has a matte cream finish.

Second for Fantasy Makers Bedeviled from wet n wild is the Blush in Seeing Red. If you loved the orange version from 2021, then you will love this one! It is the same, just in red. Yes, the pumpkin spice scent is there! It has a buildable and easy to control matte finish, with pigment that lasts all day. It is the perfect red to have in your collection and I will get a lot of use out of it.
Claims: This blush should be soft and blendable to melt into the skin, featuring a pumpkin spice scent.

wet n wild Fantasy Makers 10-pan Palette in Twisted Forest
Third for the wet n wild Fantasy Makers Bedeviled Halloween collection is the 10-pan palette in Twisted Forest. After a year of so-so palettes from the brand, this is a good one. The color scheme is earth tones with a special Halloween twist! Everything is highly pigmented, easy to blend and to build, and velvety soft. I find the mattes to not be patchy, and the shimmers to be impactful dry. There is minimal kick-up and fall out. I would love to use this again for a non-festive look. While there are no shade names, they are numbered one through ten on the back.
Claims: This palette contains ultra-soft and super-smooth pigments that are easy to blend. You can use them wet or dry for high impact color in one swipe.

wet n wild Fantasy Makers Liquid Eyeshadows
Forth is two shades of Fantasy Makers Liquid Eyeshadows. They have mostly discontinued their liquid eyeshadows, but this is always a great formula. It is easy to control and to work with before it fully dries down. It stays in place and lasts all day without cracking, fading, or creasing. You can wear this with powder eyeshadows! Inalienable White Lights is perfect to layer over your color of choice, or to wear alone.
Claims: These richly-pigmented liquid eyeshadows can create an intense, multi-dimensional shine. They stay in place and glide on smoothly and seamlessly.

wet n wild Fantasy Makers Glitter Gel in Ultraviolet Haze
Fifth in wet n wild Fantasy Makers Bedeviled is the Glitter Gel in Ultraviolet Haze. You should know that I am a major fan of their Glitter Gels! Besides the fact that they are like body glitter for adults, you can use them anywhere for all-day, long-lasting wear. They are easy to apply, fully dry down, and always pack a punch and stay put. My favorite uses are to accent the eyes and to apply on the cheekbones.
Claims: The gel should glide onto the skin with ease and stay in place without a mess.

wet n wild Fantasy Makers Lip & Cheek Jelly Stain in Just a Little Prick
Next in wet n wild Fantasy Makers 2022 for Halloween is the Lip & Cheek Jelly Stain in Just a Little Prick. This is a new and innovative item from wet n wild! The gel has a cooling effect on the skin, with a sheer red wash of color. If you apply it over makeup, the stain will fully wash off. When applied to bare skin, you will be left with a stain that is trickier to remove. I am docking a star for the finish that does not match the claims. It does not dry down for some time. It stays wet and shiny, and over time it dries down into a stain. As with most wet makeup products, I would not apply it over powder.
Claims: This stain is meant to stay in place with a jelly texture that is easy to apply. It should dry down to a natural, skin-like finish.

wet n wild Fantasy Makers Fake Blood in Vampire’s Dessert
Here is the Fantasy Makers Fake Blood in Vampire’s Dessert. This product really looks like real blood! In application, it is easy for this to drip all over you. I recommend protecting your working surface and clothes with paper towels. This formula does not dry down. I would absent-mindedly touch my face, then touch something else, and get blood everywhere. The good news is, it washes off easily with water alone, even on fabric.
Claims: The easy to use dropper allows for precise application. You can apply this over makeup or bare skin.

wet n wild megalast Liquid Catsuit High Shine Liquid Lipsticks
These are two new shades of megalast Liquid Catsuit High Shine Liquid Lipstick. Their formula is great because it has a high shine and feels nourishing on the lips. Of course, it will transfer, which is the nature of this product. The black is full coverage like liquid leather. The white is a bit more streaky, or not as full coverage, which I normally encounter with white lip products.
Claims: These glossy lip colors glide on with ease to leave your lips feeling soft. The glossy finish is gorgeous.

wet n wild Fantasy Makers Makeup Body Sponge
Pressing on, we have the Fantasy Makers Makeup Body Sponge. Over other collections we have seen this sponge in black and pink. The size is great for doing body makeup, with their formula that is soft, bouncy, streak-free, and absorbs little product.
Claims: The hydrophilic material picks up pigment with a single dab and also ensures less waste. It should provide a seamless, streak-free finish to blend with ease.

Next for wet n wild Fantasy Makers Bedeviled is the Glow in the Dark Glow Makeup Sponge. A glow in the dark sponge is new for the brand! Again, their formula is soft, bouncy, streak-free, and absorbs little product.
Claims: These sponges are designed to be used anywhere. They make it easy to work in wide areas or detailed spots. Makeup waste is reduced with hydrophilic material to minimize absorption. You can blend with ease.

Here are all four Fantasy Makers Makeup Sponges. I normally do not repurchase re-releases, and only the yellow sponge is new. For whatever reason, I bought them all. As I said above, their formula is soft, bouncy, streak-free, and absorbs little product. By the way, their sponges expand when wet.
Claims: These sponges are designed to be used anywhere. They make it easy to work in wide areas or detailed spots. Makeup waste is reduced with hydrophilic material to minimize absorption. You can blend with ease.

Next up are two sets of Fantasy Makers Artificial Nails. I always complain that their nails look very cheap. These still do, especially with many options being oversized, but I like these designs the best out of all of their past designs. The length here is somewhat manageable. Claims: The provided glue provides an extra strong bond to ensure your nails stay safely in place. Get the salon look at home.

Here we have three new options for Fantasy Makers Gem Face Masks! You might recognize the revamped Tangled Tease mask. In the past, they did a version of it in purple. I have never used these on the face. Mainly, I am a collector. I remain curious as to how well they stick to a full-face of makeup, or if they work better on clean, bare skin.
Claims: Simply stick these gems onto your face and the self-adhesive does the work. To remove, just peel them off.

wet n wild Fantasy Makers Nail Accents
Last for wet n wild Fantasy Makers Bedeviled are two new styles of Fantasy Makers Nail Accents. In wet n wild Fantasy Makers Circus Sauvage from 2021 we were given two other styles, which you can purchase again this year. They stick right on your polished (or artificial) nails and they look great. I use top coat with no issues. I love that they give you a complete Halloween look in a flash.
Claims: These nail decals should easily stick onto your manicured nails. Once you apply top coat, you are set.

I am ending with some wet n wild Fantasy Makers Halloween 2022 makeup looks. In my looks I do use items from past years that have been re-released and are on sale again.

To recreate the eyeshadow look, start by applying shade seven high in the crease and long the lower lash line. Next, apply shade 10 in the actual crease, and smudge it close to the lashes on the lower lash line. Now, apply shade nine to the eyelid. Then, apply shade eight to the outer third of the eyelid. Deepen the outer corner with shade six, and connect that to the lower lash line. Highlight the brow bone and inner corner with the Liquid Eyeshadow in Inalienable White Lights. Apply the Glitter Mascara to the bottom lashes only.
Vampire Version 2
Every year I perfect my vampire look! This is much better than 2021 because wet n wild gave us some awesome blood-related items. Here are the products used:

There are no rules to recreate the eyeshadow look! You can start by setting your eyelid with the matte off white shade, or the white powder from the contouring palette. I applied the red shade high in the crease, all the way up to the brow bow. Next, I applied the burgundy plum shade in the crease. Then, I mixed the two browns and applied that to the eyelid. After that, I patted some of the black onto the lower part of the eyelid, closer to the lashes. Then, I applied the eyeliner all the way around the eye and smudged it out with the black eyeshadow. I also applied the eyeliner on the water line. To make my under eyes dark, I layer, pat, and build the red, burgundy, and black over top of each other.

In conclusion of the wet n wild Fantasy Makers Bedeviled collection, this slightly smaller release is a hit! I have given most of the items five out of five stars. These products, for the most part, can be incorporated to any makeup look, and they are of high quality. I enjoy when wet n wild innovates, like we see with the jelly stain, fake blood, and glow in the dark sponge. You can have a lot of fun with the new eyeshadow palette!
