wet n wild Fantasy Makers 2019

One of my favorite times of the year is Halloween because of the wet n wild Fantasy Makers 2019 collection! We have so many products being released this year that the collection is simply overwhelming! I am reviewing and swatching this collection for you to help you determine what you want to buy. Please note that I only buy the products that can be used daily. Since the paint pots/glitters/stencils are for costume purposes only, I will waste my money on buying those. Also, you will notice that certain products and/or shades are missing. This is because they were released in prior years and are being released again. You can find reviews and swatches of these products in my 2018 and 2017 posts! Let’s get started.

wet n wild Fantasy Makers megalast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipstick

First in the wet n wild Fantasy Makers 2019 collection we have some new shades of the Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipstick! My favorite is Grave Problems because I am obsessed with mauve lip colors. You already know that I love this formula because it dries down to be fully matte in a matter of minutes, and it lasts really well through eating and drinking. It may feel a bit drying on the lips, but it does not bother me at all, and that feeling can be combatted with a lip primer underneath.

wet n wild Fantasy Makers megalast Liquid Catsuit Metallic Lipstick

Second are the Liquid Catsuit Metallic Lipsticks in new shades. I also love this formula for drying down completely matte in a few minutes, but with a metallic shine. Haunted Clout and Pumpkin At The Disco have a more sheer formula than the other shades, but they are not bad. Witch Please is a unique, dark swamp green with gold metallic.

wet n wild Fantasy Makers megalast Liquid Creme Eyeshadow

Third are new shades of the Liquid Creme Eyeshadow. What more can you ask for when it comes to the formula! These are great to use as a base for eyeshadow, or on their own as all-over color. You can easily blend these since they are so pigmented, opaque, and creamy. They set down fully and will not budge. I am most excited for Vein-illa I Scream because it will be the ultimate eyeshadow base to make colors pop, or you can wear it on its own since standard white eyeshadow does not always pack a punch.

wet n wild Fantasy Makers megalast Liquid Metallic Eyeshadow

Fourth are the Liquid Metallic Eyeshadows. Talk about a metallic burst of color, especially from Rollerghosters! These are also easy to blend with an opaque formula that sets down in place. Frost Bite is more of a clear with blue glitter and it should be packaged with the Liquid Shimmer Eyeshadow line. I really want it to be a stunning, opaque blue.

Fifth are some Liquid Shimmer Eyeshadows. These are more of a clear eyeshadow with glitter, which is great for adding some sparkle to the center of your eyelid. Formula wise they behave just as well as the creme and metallic lines.

wet n wild Fantasy Makers megalast Lip Color

Next I have some totally Halloween megalast Lip Colors! Check out Buga Buga, as green is my favorite color. It really is not suited for daily wear, but who cares! This lipstick line features buildable pigment in a creamy formula that sets to be a demi matte. It will stand up to some eating and drinking, but it is not as full proof as a matte liquid lipstick. For the drugstore you cannot go wrong.

wet n wild Fantasy Makers Kohl Eyeliner in Ghosted

Here is a stand alone Kohl Eyeliner. I note that the formula is very creamy and swatches easily without dragging or skipping. You sure do get a lot of product for the cheap price!

wet n wild Fantasy Makers megalast Liquid Catsuit High Shine Liquid Lipstick

Continuing on, we have new shades of the Liquid Catsuit High Shine Liquid Lipsticks! This is the first round of new shades since the release of the product line, and I think these shades are perfect additions! Pumpkin Guts is my favorite product name out of this entire Fantasy Makers collection, but the hue is spot on as well. Faires’ Funeral is best layered over another lip color. The high shine formula is comfortable on the lips by giving you that juicy shine that you crave without the sticky feel of a gloss. Keep in mind that they are not long wearing, due to the nature of the product.

wet n wild Fantasy Makers Makeup Sponge

Next up is the Makeup Sponge in four limited edition Halloween colors! I love this sponge so much because it actually works. It expands when wet, it blends your makeup well, and is soft like it should be. This sponge surely stands up to your other drugstore favorites, and maybe even high end contenders.

wet n wild Fantasy Makers Multisticks

Here are all of the Fantasy Makers Multisticks, which are great add-ons to the everyday multistick collection, especially if you feel like certain colors are missing the everyday line. These are great because you can use them anywhere on your face, from eyes to lips. You can blend these out easily because they are creamy and do not drag, and boy they pack on the pigment quickly. I like to use an eyeliner brush to apply these for budge-proof eyeliner.

wet n wild Fantasy Makers coloricon Shade Shifting Blush

This year we have two new shades of the Shade Shifting Blush to join the single shade released in 2018. In swatching these, the swatches do not look all that different from the product in the pan, so I fail to see how they are “shade shifting.” The original blush actually applies in a different color from what you see in the pan. These are also highly shimmery, to the point where you may be able to use these as a highlighter, or you can skip highlighter all together.

wet n wild Fantasy Makers megaglo Highlighting Powder in Vampy Dreams

Here is another shade of the Fantasy Makers megaglo Highlighting Powder. Much like the black one from 2018, you really cannot say that Vampy Dreams is a highlighter with all that red pigment. You can get away with it for Halloween, but otherwise maybe you can use it as blush or as eyeshadow. It really does not have much sparkle to qualify as a megaglo highlighter either.

wet n wild 10 pan Eyeshadow Palettes

To end the wet n wild Fantasy Makers 2019 collection I have all four of the new 10 pan eyeshadow palettes! How many times do I have to say that I love wet n wild eyeshadow for its pigmentation and blendability?! I love that these palettes do not make a mess while swatching. These colors can totally be used any time of the year. I do note that almost all of the “transition” shades are by no means transition shades. Maybe for Halloween you can get away with a stark white or black transition shade, but otherwise you may need to substitute with another palette. The swatches speak for themselves.

To finish up my review of the wet n wild Fantasy Makers 2019 collection I am sharing some side-by-side comparisons. I typically do this in my wet n wild posts because they like to rename products and release them as new items. We know better than that! To help you save your hard-earned cash, I will let you know if these products are the same.

Get Some Booze vs Widows Peak

Every Halloween it seems like wet n wild releases a black Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipstick under a new name. From 2018 we have Widows Peak, and here in 2019 we have Get Some Booze. These are definitely the same, so you do not need to buy Get Some Booze! Do note that my Widows Peak has been open for a year, so the formula is going bad and does not swatch as well as Get Some Booze.

Sand Man vs Camel Back

As far as I can tell, there is no difference between Sand Man and Camel Back. So, if you already have Camel Back, you do not need to purchase Sand Man.

Ghoulfriend vs Ruby Heist

I see no difference between Ghoulfriend and Ruby Heist. There is no reason to buy Ghoulfriend if you already own Ruby Heist.

Ghosted vs White

Ghosted states that it is a kohl eyeliner pencil, while White is a standard eyeliner pencil. Ghosted has a very creamy, non-dragging formula. White has a dry and draggy formula that actually leaves chunks of product on my skin, which you can see with the swatch. I recommend buying Ghosted over White because it has a better formula!
