Details
The norm with Fantasy Makers anymore is that the products drop without warning and it is hard to find all of the items. There is no real release date. The product displays first appeared in stock in Walmart stores and on their website around the same time. This all happens well before wet n wild acknowledges their existence.
Five Below got a small shelf display with a handful of items. Weirdly, it had many items from previous years on it, too.
CVS also got a small shelf display but it was 100% Forsaken Forest. Walgreens probably got the same thing but I never saw it.
Walmart got nearly everything. Nothing for nails! No nail stickers or artificial nails. They also did not have the ghost makeup sponge on the in-store display. Amazon is grossly incomplete. Target got most of everything in store and online but it is still not complete. Similar story for wet n wild’s website.
The collection features 50 items and it is impossible to get all of them in one place. When it comes to where to buy Walmart has the most diverse selection. They never do PR boxes for Fantasy Makers (outside of one time) so you have to track everything down individually.
You may notice a few items missing from this review. That is because several products are repeats from previous years. I do not typically repurchase those, but you can use the search bar in the menu above to find reviews of them. I have also included links at the bottom of this article to past collections for easy reference.
For transparency, I do not purchase the stencils, paints, or glitters since they are not practical for me. That said, the entire collection remains very affordable, with every item priced under $7.
Here’s a quick rundown of the returning products from previous years:
- Both nail accents
- Both sponges
- Both contour palettes
- Technically both of the Individual Gems, but, they added more quantity to the package
- 2 Gem Face Masks
- Matte lipstick
- 1 Glitter Body Illuminator
- Paint pot
- Both glitter gels
- Technically the Glitter Mascara but I wanted a new one
Cream Blush in Pick My Brain
We got their first ever cream blushes in this format in the wet n wild Disney Villains collection, so this one marks number five. 10 out of 10 for the design and the name! The shade is the perfect flushed peach, even though it is not really Halloween vampy like the rest of the collection. I genuinely hope these come to the permanent core line in a wealth of shades.
This formula is fully blendable and buildable for ultimate control. It does not fully dry down, as it maintains a slight tackiness. It lasts all day without fading! I love how creamy it is.
I like to apply them directly to my face and blend them with a brush or a sponge. Of course, you can apply them with the tool of your choice. They do not remove the coverage underneath.
Claims: This blush should be cream-to-powder to leave you with a soft, natural finish that is also easy to apply. The lightweight formula should melt onto your skin. You can apply with with your fingers or a brush, or right onto your skin. Build it as you desire.

Shimmer Gel Pot in Metamorphic
I felt stumped on how to use this at first (we have not seen a product like this from the brand before), so I tried it as a higlighter on my cheeks, cupid’s bow, and nose. I prefer to use my finger for that type of application. When you begin putting it on you see the blue tint, but once it is blended out it looks clear with a kiss of sparkle but not glittery. It does not remove coverage underneath.
This gives you the perfect wet look highlighter ever at bargain basement pricing. This is going straight to my highlighter drawer. It holds up perfectly all day and to be honest I wore it for 16 hours. It never changed or broke down. The only potential con is that it is a tacky gel and it does not set. Say if you were to go outside with your hair blowing around in the wind it would stick to your face.
I have oily/combo skin so it may not have been the most flattering look to put it on my nose, but it worked. So just bare in mind with the wet look you might not want to put it on areas where you are prone to get shiny.
Claims: This is a unique gel formula that contains fine, multi-reflective glitters for radiance. It can be used on the face and body to add glow. The formula should be smooth for a seamless blend.

Chameleon Chrome Eyeshadow Foil in Mariposa Magic
They are adding onto the wet n wild Chameleon Chrome collection with a limited edition eyeshadow foil. I like this shade much better than the permanent one as it is more wearable and not straight up crazy looking. This product is more metallic flakes than a full-coverage gel. It is best applied with some sort of flat eyeshadow or concealer brush.
It fully dries down and is locked on all day with a chrome shift. My complaint with the original one is that it flaked all over my face, but this one did not! Mariposa Magic is definitely worth your money. The shade would layer well with other items in your eye look or just on its own.
Claims: This is a multi-chromatic flake foil eye color that self adheres. It should give you a flawless application that reveals a spectrum of hues and shimmer from all angles. The color should be intense and vibrant. You can apply it with your fingers or a brush.

Glitter Lash & Brow Mascara
We have seen this product so many times over, and we have also seen this exact silver mascara in previous years, except now it has no shade name. I repurchased it to get a fresh one.
This formula is a clear gel with small glitter in it. There are no pearls like the claims say. It is really not designed to add length or volume or even hold a curl. The thin wand is only for dispersing the mascara. Judging it on that it is just fine, but not something that compels me to reach for it.
Claims: This is a lightweight, clear gel formula that dries down fast for comfort and hold. It contains multi-reflective glitters and pearls. You can wear it alone or layered.

Glitter Body Illuminator in Bone to Be Wild
This oil based formula is one that I really detest from wet n wild. You cannot layer it over your makeup due to the oily feel, but using it on the body means that it will transfer everywhere. The actual impact of the product is not even that noticeable. Be sure to shake it well.
Claims: The formula contains Vitamin E for a conditioning glow. It can be used as a highlighter on your collarbones or all over as a body oil.

Mega Glitter Shimmer Liquid Lipstick
We first got three permanent mega glitter Shimmer Liquid Lipsticks in the wet n wild 2025 new products. These shades are new! This formula is true matte but it does not dry out your lips. You get full coverage in one swipe.
To get the glitter reveal, allow the product to fully dry, then press your lips together and release. You can see the fine glitters but it is not overdone. The formula holds up as well as you would expect for a matte lip!
I was really surprised how patchy Spell Bound got on my upper lip after I did the glitter reveal. I have not had that happen with the shades from the core line.
Witchful Thinking is not patchy. The purple is the perfect witch color and the glitter really takes it over the top. What a unique hue! If you are dressing as a witch and do not use this product it will be a missed opportunity.
Claims: This matte liquid lipstick transforms to a glitter finish when you press your lips together. It provdies bold color in one swipe with the highly-pigmented formula. The texture is creamy for smooth application.

Witchful Thinking

Colored Mascara
Colored Mascara is a staple in Fantasy Makers, but these are most closely related to the ones from Disney Villains. Thankfully, it is a consistent formula this time.
I find that the formula is wet enough, in a good way, to really coat your lashes. They can stand to have more full coverage pigment like we saw in wet n wild x Spongebob round 2, but when I go outside in the sun and blink I see the color.
You will get a bit of length and volume but nothing to phone home about. The thin, flexible silicone wand grabs every lash to give separation without columping, besides the fact it is also good for the lower lashes. They hold up all day without flaking and smudging, and they wash off normally. This is a ready to go formula. They even hold a curl.
Claims: This is ultra-pigmented mascara that should deliver high-impact color. It is formulated to give your lashes a longer and fuller appearance.

Pink-O-Ween

Batty Burgundy

Liquid Eyeliner
In the wet n wild Fantasy Makers Ballerina Horror collection we got three eyeliners in almost the same shade family of green, blue, and pink. This time around we have more earth toned versons. I find that the brush is easy to control enough that I drew leaves on my face. However, the formulas are a wee bit inconsistent.
They dry down to be matte and you can actually feel them with your finger. They feel 3D on the skin and dry. You can layer them up but it does not really change the impact. That might also lead to some potential cracking. They have a hint of a metallic look but nothing like the claims make it seem.
Run for the Hills and Moonlight Trance have the most pigment and impact. They last all day.
Purple Crimes has lighter pigment, and sadly it is the only one that cracks and flakes by the end of the day.
Claims: This iridescent eyeliner has fine glitters for a multi-reflective finish. It glides on for a smooth and even application. They are quick drying and made to last.

Chameleon Chrome Lip Foil
My biggest gripe with the lip foils is that they feather and bleed outside of the lip line with or without lip liner. Other than that, they are a super pretty concept. They are not 100% full coverage like the claims state, but they have a surprising amount of pigment for a lip gloss.
Yes, that is right. These are a thick lip gloss, but not in a bad way. They are not sticky. The thickness seems to help with the chrome shift effect. You will need to re-apply them as desired.
I have to say that Nymph’s Whisper is worth your money! It does not do the feathering thing, or maybe it is just less noticeable given the color. The shade is so pretty.
Claims: This lip color has a non-sticky formula for comfortable wear that stays in place. The color should shift at every angle with a multidimensional effect.

Serpent’s Spell

Lip Stain
I have to start by ranting about the plastic applicator. We saw this the previous year with the lip gloss stain. It works better, but not perfect, with that type of product. It is awful with this lip stain. It makes it impossible to get one even coat on your lips. Even more impossible to line and fill your lips if you want to wear this as your base. That is the only reason it looks patchy in any sense – the applicator.
Besides that, this product will flick droplets everywhere when you pull the wand out. It will also come pouring out of the tube with the wand removed. I would love for wet n wild to bring these stains to their permanent line, but they need to rethink the entire packaging. A better stopper plus a triangular doe foot similar to the shimmer liquid lipsticks would be an improvement.
For the actual stain I find that it dries down to be matte. You can build up the intensity and still get that stained look, all without it looking gross. My overall experience is the same as any liquid water based stain. I do not really like them on their own. They wear off faster than you would like without really staining. They are best applied as a base to extend the life of your lip look. They will feather if applied before a lip liner. It does not really dry out my lips but it feels like it is on the verge of doing so.
Claims: This lip stain is water based, yet hyper-pigmented to deliver a natural flush of color. You can build it to a bold finish. It should be lightweight and non-sticky for comfortable wear. You can wear it alone or layer it up, but it should last and deliver.

Midnight Kiss

Vampire’s Bite

Eye & Face Palette
As we have come to expect with wet n wild’s formula, it is pefecly good for $7. You do have to build the mattes up and dip your brush into the pan more often. They produce some kickup in the pan as well as some dust, but no fallout. The metallics are highly impactful.
Nothing is patchy and everything is blendable and buildable. They are soft and smooth. As you will see with the looks to come, having some patience definitely gives you the color payoff. The colors are spot on and I know we can find ways to keep using them outside of October.
The shades do not have names but they are numbered on the back. The formulas are consistent. You get mattes, metallics, and shimmers.
Claims: The pigments should be ultra-soft and super-smooth to make blending easy. You can mix and match the palettes. They contain shummers and transitional mattes that are powerfully pigmented for intense color in one swipe. Each color can be used wet or dry.

Temporary Face & Body Tattoos
I had a very hit and miss experience with these tattoos. I am not sure why other than the paper was a bit thicker than what I think is standard. The designs are very nice.
When I applied a spider web over several layers of powder that I used to make a bruise, it transferred in less than 30 seconds and was perfect. When I applied the gold leaves across my forehead that was covered in foundation and no powder, it took a bit longer to transfer and it also messed up my foundation. I think that critique is to be expected of any tattoo.
For my Flower Girl look I could not get them to transfer for anything. I ended up wasting so many tattoos and messing up my makeup. They would not go on over powder or foundation.
They wash off easily with makeup remover! No complaints.
Claims: The tattoos should be effortless to apply and to remove. Combine the sets for a custom look.

Fluttery Cute

Gem Face Mask
For the first time in a decade of revieiwng wet n wild I finally stuck some of these to my face. I regret not trying these sooner. I am happy to report that they absolutely adhere normally to a FULL face of makeup. When you remove them it will pull up the coverage but I expected that.
I do not see why you cannot wash them gently with soap and water then reuse them with lash glue. One wear does ruin the adhesive. The bigger issue of using lash glue is then removing that glue for a third and beyond wear. Honestly, I like these and they are super cool!
Claims: These are the perfect finishing touch for any look. Select the gems that you want or use them as designed. They self-adhere and peel off when you are done.

Individual Gems
These gems are a repeat from past years. I only bought them because the increased the quantity in the package. I have yet to ever use these outside of collecting them… and based on what I said about the face masks… this might be FOMO. I am sure they function the same.
Claims: Same claims as the Gem Face Masks.

Artificial Nails
With Ballerina Horror we had three sets of nails that only got released in HEB stores, which are exclusive to Texas. Further those displays only had maybe two to three nails on them.
This time around, the nails are still not accessible. They have been spotted at Shoppers Drug Mart which is exclusive to Canada. They are also for sale on Bellisima, which is a Mexican retailer. If you were to purchase them with the tariffs they are $150 USD each! It looks like they do not ship to the US. Either way, that is a no from me. Below I am including their photos, which also gave me the style names.
As always, I will stay on the hunt and bring them to you if I can.
Claims: These nails should be durable and comfortable. They feature comfort fit technology with easy application. The glue should keep them securely in place for a look that lasts.

- The Wet n Wild Fantasy Makers Forsaken Forest Collection (2025) includes 50 limited-edition Halloween products, many of which are repeats from past years, with new standouts like the Cream Blush in Pick My Brain and Shimmer Gel Pot in Metamorphic.
- Availability is fragmented. Walmart offers the most complete selection, while other retailers like Target, CVS, and Five Below carry partial displays.
- The collection remains affordable, with all items under $7, but several products (like stencils, paints, and glitters) are skipped in the review for practicality.
- Top-rated items (5/5) include the Cream Blush, Shimmer Gel Pot, and Gem Face Masks; lowest-rated (1/5) is the Glitter Body Illuminator.
- The review features swatches, ratings, and three original Halloween makeup looks, helping readers decide what’s worth buying.
Makeup Looks
I have created three full face of wet n wild makeup and tools Halloween looks using this collection. You can see all products used on my face! If there is a product that I did not get to use in a look I provided an individual photo along with the swatches above.
Dead Bride
For this look I mixed the white color correcting concealer with both the foundation and concealer to make myself more pale. To create the bruising I kept layering up the red and gray from the contour palette, with some dabs of black and purple from the eyeshadow. If I had more time in the morning I would have added more brusies and tattoos to the neck.

To recreate the eye look, start by applying shade 1 in the crease. Make it dramatic by extending it in the hollows of the eyes toward the bridge of the nose, and even out to the tail of your eyebrow. Next apply shade 7 on the inner and outer part of the eyelid, leaving a blank space in the middle. You can sweep it a bit into the crease. Darken the edges of shade 7 with shade 6. Now, apply shade 3 on the center of the eyelid and also use it as your brow bone and inner corner highlight. Sweep shade 6 along the lower lash line making it bold and dramatic. Be sure to connect it to the upper lash line. Finish the look with the Wing Out Eyeliner and Colored Mascara in Batty Burgundy. If you want to create the under eye bruising layer up the red and gray from the Thirsty Vampire contour palette, then a touch of shades and 5 and 6 from the eye palette.
Forest Fairy
When I applied the tattoo across my forehead, almost like a tan line. It tranferred fine and I used a dab of foundation and a sponge to work it all out.

To recreate the eye look, start by applying shade 8 high in the crease, then bring it out past your eyebrow for dramatics, and make a circle all the way around the eye. As we apply each shade of green we will apply it further in the circle. So, next do the same with shade 6 a bit further in, and repeat further in again with shade 1. Now, take shade shade 3 and pat it on the center of the eyelid, as well as the on the center of the lower lash line. I also took my crease brush and stamped on more shade 3 over the other green hues. This is a lot of pigment and my trick to blend out the edges is to dip a fluffy blending brush into my translucent setting powder. I highlighted the brow bone with the glitter mascara and did a thin line of Breakup Proof Skinny eyeliner.
Flower Girl
This look almost did not come together right! I could not get the tattoos to transfer at all on this day. I was going to use the metallic gold freckles, then clusters of flowers under my eyes. I ended up using the glitter gel as the freckles and honestly I love it. It is now another favorite way to use that product. My plan B was the face gems and I am glad that I decided to finally try them.

To recreate the eye look start by applying shade 5 in the crease, and wing it out a bit past the eyebrow for dramatics. Next, apply shade 10 on the inner half of the eyelid and sweep the excess into the crease. Now, apply shade 4 to the outer corner. Then, pat shade 3 on the eyelid. I highlighted the brow bone with the glitter gel. Then I used the eye foil on the inner corner and brought it both up onto the lid slightly and also down along the under eye a bit. Apply shade 10 along the lower lash line and shade 4 in the outer corner connecting it to the lower lash line. I also applied the Purple Crimes eyeliner and Pink-o-Ween Colored Mascara.

What Reddit Users Are Saying About The Collection
“I just tried the black after purchasing it last week.. for 7 dollars at CVS i feel kind of ripped off. It is very sheer, drying and SUPER smudgy.. I loved their vampire venom last year for over a chapstick to give it a bit of shimmer though”

I am surprised that I rated less items five out of five stars. In a way it is not that major given these products are being released for Halloween wear, but not everything holds up to wet n wild’s standards. With some creativity you can use some items on a daily basis! I really enjoy wearing the blue eyeliner for what it is, as well as the cream blush. Did you pick anything up this year? Until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.
