Details & Claims
I am going to start by discussing where you can buy this bronzer line. Most retailers that sell the brand will carry them, including big names like Ulta and Walmart.

The price will vary depending on who you shop with, typically between $12.99 – $15.99.
It claims to have an ultra-luxurious, water-resistant formula to deliver a long-lasting, matte finish. Physicians Formula is aiming for the Tahitian sun-kissed look. It should have a creamy, yet soft texture that combines the powers of powder and cream to give you an airbrushed finish.
The key ingredients are Tahitian Monoi Butter, Murumuru Butter, Cupuaçu Butter, and Tucuma Butter. An array of butters give the formula essential fatty acids and pro-vitamins that are good for the skin. They are known to soften, to condition, and to moisturize.
Swatches
Below I have Physicians Formula Matte Monoi Butter Bronzer swatches of the two shades. I hope in the future that they expand the shade range. These shades are different from their other bronzers, so you do not have to worry about repeats in your collection. You can actually grab a third, limited edition shade from within the All Star Face Palette, and it is also different from these two.
You can see in the swatches that the formula is ultra soft, diffused, and blurred on the skin.

Matte Bronzer

Matte Sunkissed Bronzer

Review
First, these do have a nice scent. It is different from the original Butter line as the ingredients are not the same, but you will love it if you love the other. Second, both shades are truly matte.
I appreciate their buildable formula, so you never have to worry about being heavy-handed. The formula does feel like a cream and powder in one, and it is super buttery smooth to glide over the skin. I swear their makeup blends itself, which makes Physicians Formula Matte Monoi Bronzer great for any skill level.
Matte Sunkissed Bronzer is on the verge of being a tad bit orange, but neither of these are actually orange. The bronzers last on the skin all day and look just as good as when they were first applied. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking an excellent drugstore bronzer.
My only complaint- which I give to all Physicians Formula- is the bulky packaging. I wish they would stop using this thick compact and give us something normal inside. No one uses the included brush! Anyway, I give these five out of five stars.
