The first quarter of each year is normally an exciting time for makeup lovers, as top brands will expand their core line. In this post I am covering the Physicians Formula 2023 new products in my usual style of detailed reviews, star ratings, swatches, and a makeup look. Where to Buy the 2023 New Products
The Physicians Formula new products release date has passed, with the initial products coming out in January 2023. At the time of this writing, you can find most of these items on Amazon, with the exception of the Butter glow powder and contour palette. Ulta only has three items. Physicians Formula’s website has everything except for the gloss, and Target does not have the setting spray.
Physicians Formula 2023 New Products Coming Out
Butter Glow Liquid Bronzer in Bronze
First in the Physicians Formula 2023 new products is the Butter Glow Liquid Bronzer in Bronze. This bronzer is super creamy, blendable, and buildable. I like to blend it with a sponge, but you can also use a brush. It does not remove coverage underneath, and provides a subtle glow. The color is very nice – I like to think of it as their OG Butter Bronzer in the shade Bronzer done as a liquid. It is not orange or muddy. If you are afraid of liquid bronzers, you will find this easy to use. You can even mix this into foundation to darken the shade and add the slightest glow. It does have a bit of a tacky feeling when it dries.
Claims: This liquid bronzer should add instant warmth and glow to your complexion. It provides a natural, sun-kissed look with hydration and illumination. The sheer coverage is buildable, and can be worn alone, under, or over foundation.

Butter Glow Liquid Highlighter in Glow
Second for the Physicians Formula new products release is the Butter Glow Liquid Highlighter in Glow. This acts just like the bronzer detailed above in terms of application and wear. This is a nice, universal shade for a glowing wet-look that does not emphasize texture. You can mix this into foundation to make it more radiant.
Claims: This highlighter is designed to accentuate your features and to add instant dimension with an illuminated, hydrated, natural radiant glow. The sheer coverage is buildable, and can be worn alone, under, or over foundation.

Butter Bronzer Contour Palette in Contour 1
Third for the Physicians Formula new products coming out is the Butter Bronzer Contour Palette in Contour 1. This shade is for fair to light skin tones, and they offer a Contour 2 version for medium and dark skin tones. If you are familiar with the PF Butter Bronzers and Blush, then you will recognize this formula. It is about time that they did contour! These shades are perfect for matte sculpting and highlighting. They are buildable, creamy, and easy to blend without looking muddy.
Claims: This palette can be used to bronze, sculpt, and shape your face. You can mix and match the blendable, buildable shades for a customized sculpted, bronzed, and highlighted look.

Butter Glow Concealer in Fair-to-Light
Fourth is the Butter Glow Concealer in Fair-to-Light. Since I wrote my Physicians Formula Butter Believe It! Foundation + Concealer review, I have really come to love that foundation and I use it all the time. I am beyond excited for a concealer, and it does not disappoint! It has buildable high-medium coverage with a natural finish. It is creamy and melts into the skin. The applicator is unique with a standard doe-foot on one end, and a blending sponge on the other. I have not used the sponge, as I prefer to use my own. The lightest shade, which is Fair-to-Light, does a great job of brightening the under eye area. It makes a great companion to the foundation!
Claims: This concealer should brighten, highlight, smooth, and conceal imperfections. The smooth and creamy texture provides a radiant, soft-focus finish with a refreshed glow. You can build the formula for seamless coverage. The dual ended applicator allows for precise application that can be blended with the sponge.

Butter Glow Pressed Powder
Fifth for the Physicians Formula 2023 new products is the Butter Glow Pressed Powder. This powder does a nice job of setting the skin and providing a dewy, or illuminated look. It will not extend the wear time of makeup, and I do not see any softening or diffusing effects. You may also use it as an incredibly subtle blush topper or highlighter.
Claims: This powder should give you a natural, all-over, lit-from-within glow that also sets your makeup. It should be universally flattering and long-wearing. It will instantly diffuse and soften your complexion with a multidimensional glow.

Butter Brazilian Brow Lift Brow Gel
Next is the Butter Brazilian Brow Lift Brow Gel. This is a clear gel that will lock your brows into place all day with a firm hold. It is borderline a hard, almost crunchy hold, but that does not bother me. The formula, in conjunction with the brush, does not have the power to spike your brows up like you get with other lamination-like products. Nor does it give much of a feathered or full effect. I still like it for the hold, and I pair it with a tinted brow filler.
Claims: This gel is designed to give you the laminated brow look. It features a micro-sculpting brush for ultra precision and to give you the full, feathered brow look.

Mineral Wear Diamond Last Lip Cream
Here is the Mineral Wear Diamond Last Lip Cream. This matte liquid lipstick has a lightweight, mousse-like feeling that dries fast. You do get full pigmentation in one swipe, and you can easily build it up without it getting streaky or looking heavy. It has virtually no transfer, and does last all day with minimal to no touchups needed. However, the formula is very matte to the point that it is borderline drying. I did not experience any dryness or flaking, but I was on the verge of that experience. I recommend applying it over exfoliated lips, and maybe even a light layer of lip balm. You may not enjoy this lippie if you do not like that dry matte feeling on your lips.
Claims: This matte lip cream should provide you with a bold, creamy, nourished lip that lasts all day. The ultra-creamy and richly-pigmented formula gives a weightless, saturated look in one swipe. It should be comfortable and hydrating.

Mineral Wear Diamond Setter Long-Lasting Setting Spray
This is the Mineral Wear Diamond Setter Long-Lasting Setting Spray. This setting spray has an incredibly fine mist that successfully sets your makeup with a dewy finish. It does not extend the wear time of makeup, but it is weightless and hydrating without a glitter look.
Claims: This setting spray should provide instant hydration while setting your makeup. It has a weightless formula and a gentle mist that locks in moisture to prevent melting, fading, or settling.

Eye Booster Super Slim Liquid Eyeliner in Ultra Black
Pressing on, this is the Eye Booster Super Slim Liquid Eyeliner in Ultra Black. I want to include here that I mention this eyeliner in my wet n wild 2023 new products blog post, because it is exactly like the WNW version. They have different ingredients, but the products look, apply, and wear the same! I recommend buying the wet n wild version because it is cheaper.
My review here is pretty much the same as the wet n wild liner. It reminds me of the Kat Von D version, which is one of my favorites in the category of brush tip. This tip is so small that you can get extreme precision, which makes this great for beginners and pros alike. It dries matte black quickly and lasts all day.
Claims: This eyeliner has a super slim brush-tip and a matte black, waterproof formula for superior control and accuracy. It dries quickly and lasts all day.

Eye Booster Lash Illusion Mascara
Here is the Eye Booster Lash Illusion Mascara. This mascara has a rather dry formula, and it does not seem to apply a lot of product no matter how much I layer. I am really disappointed with this. It sort of gives me a your lash but better, natural look. Based on the claims, I except much more length.
Claims: This mascara should lift and lengthen with film-forming technology to engulf each lash with black pigment for instant lift from root to tip. The brush should dispense the right amount.

Mineral Wear Diamond Gloss in Crystal Clear
Last for the Physicians Formula 2023 new products is the Mineral Wear Diamond Gloss in Crystal Clear. I must say, the packaging of this lip gloss is spectacular! The illusion of a suspended diamond is amazing. This is a great clear gloss to wear on its own or over any lip color for bold shine that is not sticky or heavy. You can add this gloss into your Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Diamond Lip Plumper stash.
Claims: This is a two in one gloss that provides a crystal-like shine and hydration.

Physicians Formula 2023 New Products Release Makeup Look
I am ending this Physicians Formula 2023 new products review with an almost full-face makeup look of the brand, using as many of these new products as possible. I do not have PF eyeshadow primer or brow filler, so I substituted with wet n wild, since both brands are made by Markwins. To recreate the eyeshadow look, start by setting your eyelid with Barefoot in Brazil. Next, apply Beach Beige to the crease. Then, deepen the crease with Off the Coast. Also, apply Off the Coast along the lower lash line. Now, apply Sight Seeing to the eyelid. Next, apply Coco Loco to the outer corner, and connect it down to the lower lash line. Finish the look by highlighting the brow bone and inner corner with Reservation for Two.

Their Butter line was already amazing and popular, and these new editions only make it better.
