Now that the final quarter of the year is over, it is time to share my product empties winter 2019 list. My unofficial goal is to empty 365 products in the year of 2019. As far as the last quarter is concerned, I have 94 empties out of 92 days from October 1, 2019 – December 31, 2019. The total for the year of 2019 is 364! One short! I cannot be too mad about that. As I always do, I am providing my reviews on all of these empties, and I will state whether or not I will buy them again. Keep in mind that I burn through such a high volume of products that it takes a lot to wow me to the point of needing to repurchase. By the end of this post, you should have a better idea of what you want to buy.
Makeup/Beauty
Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelette Singles
The first beauty item in my product empties winter 2019 list Neutrogena’s Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelette Singles. I am no stranger to these wipes, but this package is great for travel. These definitely do the job of removing makeup effectively, and they are loved by many people. For future travel needs I will definitely repurchase.
elf
Active Post Workout Cool Down Mist
Second is elf’s Active Post Workout Cool Down Mist. I like this for spraying on the face after working out, or as a makeup setting spray. It does not extend the wear of makeup, but it gives a healthy glow and melts everything together. This is my second bottle. I have no plans to repurchase.
Poreless Primer Putty sample
Third is a sample of elf’s Poreless Putty Primer. As I have said before, this primer is not a life changer for me. I do not see my makeup lasting longer, nor does it tackle the severe pores on my nose. I have two full-size packages currently that I am working through.
Daily Defense Micellar Cleansing Water
Fourth is the Daily Defense Micellar Cleansing Water, which is a Dollar Tree find. It does work effectively as a makeup remover, but it burns my eyes badly. Since other micellar waters do not burn my eyes, this is a no-go for me.
Belif True Cream Aqua Bomb
Fifth in my product empties winter 2019 list is Belif’s True Cream Aqua Bomb. This is a nice daily moisturizer that gives you that hydrated all day feel. It is lightweight and absorbs well, but with the all-day moisturized feel, I do end up feeling a bit greasy during the day. Needless to say, it is not my favorite. I have no plans to repurchase.
Dr. Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment
Next is Dr. Jart’s Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment. What a strange, yet unique product! In experimenting, I find this is best applied after serum and moisturizer as a last step. It looks greenish in the pot, but as you work it into the skin, it transforms into a tint that matches your skin tone. The coverage is very light, similar to a tinted moisturizer, but somehow different. It does cancel out a lot of my redness for a more balanced look on days where I do not wear makeup. I am sure you could wear this under makeup as well. As of now, I have no plans to repurchase, but you might want to try this out.
wet n wild
perfectpout Lip Scrub in Brown Sugar Cassonade
Here is wet n wild’s perfectpout Lip Scrub in Brown Sugar Cassonade. This is my favorite flavor so far, as it really tastes like brown sugar. All of the perfectpout lip scrubs do an excellent job of exfoliating the lips, with a formula that is easy to work with. I am moving onto the next flavor in my collection, which is rose.
coloricon Brow Pencil in Brunettes Do It Better
Continuing on with the product empties winter 2019 list is the coloricon Brow Pencil in Brunettes Do It Better. This is a standard brow filling pencil that you sharpen, with a spoolie on the opposite end. The size of the tip is appropriate, not too thin or wide. Formula wise it is a bit more waxy than other brow pencils that I prefer over this one, but I can work with it. I will not repurchase.
Pacman Bonus Fruit Lip Balm in Cherry
Next is the wet n wild Pacman Bonus Fruit Lip Balm in Cherry. If a lip balm is not working for me, I can tell in only a few days because my lips start to get chapped and bother me. So, this lip balm definitely works, and tastes good. I apply it nightly before bed but after lip exfoliation. It is limited edition so I cannot repurchase.
ecotools Blotting Papers
Here are the ecotools Blotting Papers. They work fine, but I have never met a blotting paper that fails to do its job. These are not available separately, but rather in a brush set, so I cannot repurchase.
FY Makeup Wipes
Here are the FY Makeup Wipes from Dollar Tree. These are incredibly thin, and you can rip them with your two hands easily. I prefer them to be more wet as well. I use these to remove makeup swatches, but not on the face. I will not repurchase.
Benefit Bad Gal Bang Mascara
Next up I have a sample of Benefit’s Bad Gal Bang Mascara. It features a tapered, silicone wand. To me, this is a standard mascara that works ok, but it is not a game changer. It works a lot better worn over top of the Loreal Voluminous Primer, but most mascaras do! I will not repurchase.
Cover Fx High Performance Setting Spray
Here is the Cover Fx High Performance Setting Spray. The mister on this is awful, and I hope that is only the case for the sample but not the full-size. It does not enhance the longevity of my makeup. I will not repurchase.
beautyblender Bounce Liquid Whip Long-wear Foundation in 1.50
Pressing on with the product empties winter 2019 list I have beautyblender’s Bounce Liquid Whip Long-wear Foundation in shade 1.50. This is a great shade match for me. All foundations start to break up around my nose and on my upper lip after a day of wear, but this foundation does something special that I cannot find with any foundation/powder/primer combination. It controls my oils and does not let them break though! This is truly a long wear foundation and it looks good on me at the end of the day. I do recommend it, but I will not repurchase because I try not to buy high-end foundations.
Philosophy Line Correcting Primer
Next is Philosophy’s Line Correcting Primer. It has a greasy or slippery formula that definitely does not fill my lines or pores. Really, it does not set or work into my skin well at all, nor do I see my makeup lasting longer. I will not repurchase.
Sephora All Day Hydrator Hydrate + Glow
Here is Sephora’s All Day Hydrator. This is a great, everyday moisturizer, and it even works well under makeup. It is lightweight and absorbs into the skin easily. While I am looking for a drugstore moisturizer and will not repurchase, it is a good high end option.
Comfort Zone Active Pureness Fluid
Here is Comfort Zone’s Active Pureness Fluid. This is a moisturizer with a clean, fresh scent. It does give me that greasy feel to my face over the course of the day, so its not my favorite. I will not repurchase.
Tarte Sex Kitten Liquid Eyeliner
The last beauty item in this product empties winter 2019 list is Tarte’s Sex Kitten Liquid Eyeliner. It takes a long time to use this product up, and the tip holds up until the end where it finally starts to bend. I find the product easy to control to get lines that are both thick and thin. The product lasts all day with a matte black finish. There are so many great drugstore eyeliners that I do not need to repurchase this one, but there is nothing wrong with it.
Fragrance
Body Fantasies
Cookie Butter
The first fragrance item in my product empties winter 2019 list is the Cookie Butter Body Fantasies Fragrance. It definitely has a mixture of cookie dough and holiday spices going on. This is not my thing, but it cannot be repurchased because it was a special holiday scent.
Sugar and Spice
I also have Sugar and Spice. This smells like a holiday candle to me. I really hate it because it is so strong and candles are not my thing. Thank goodness it cannot be repurchased.
Yves Saint Laurent
Libre
Moving into some Yves Saint Laurent, Libre is a nice scent. If someone bought me a bottle of it, I would not be mad, but I am too cheap to drop that kind of change. It is a floral scent with hints of musk and warmth.
Black Opium
I also have Black Opium. The design of this sample bottle is ridiculous and should come with instructions. As I say in the Sephora unboxing, Black Opium does not taste good when you accidentally splash it on your tongue upon breaking the sample bottle open! This is a warm and spicy perfume with notes of black coffee, white flowers, and vanilla. While there is nothing wrong with the smell, I have no plans to repurchase.
Clean Reserve Acqua Neroli
Next up is Acqua Neroli by Clean Reserve. This fragrance is packed with oranges, mandarin, and bergamot. Again, not a bad scent, but nothing that has me itching for more. I will not repurchase.
Pinrose Secret Genius
To top off the fragrances from this product empties winter 2019 list is Secret Genius by Pinrose. This is a vanilla perfume that is very weak, but does bring back those early 2000 vibes. I am not really into vanillas anymore, so this is a pass for me.
Body
Sol de Janiero Brazilian Bum Bum Cream
The first body item in my product empties winter 2019 list is Sol de Janiero’s Brazilian Bum Bum Cream. It smells great, absorbs quickly and easily into the skin without a greasy residue, and keeps your skin feeling hydrated. I apply it all over the body, but I do not see my skin changing in terms of smoothing or firming. While I will not repurchase, it is still a good cream.
Moroccanoil Night Body Serum
Second is Moroccanoil’s Night Body Serum. This a body oil that can be applied all over. There is no way that an oil can fail to hydrate the skin, and this one does work. It has a scent to it that honestly reminds me of dry cat food. I know that sounds bad, but it does not bother me that much. This is not a life changer and I will not repurchase.
Soap and Glory Clean On Me
Third is Soap and Glory’s Clean On Me. I always get this stuff in gift sets. It is a creamy body wash with Soap and Glory’s signature Pink scent. It does the job of cleaning while smelling great. While I have no plans to repurchase, more is sure to come my way, and I will use it all up each time!
Dove Intensive Cream
Fourth is Dove’s Intensive Cream, which is a Dollar Tree find. I use it as a nightly hand cream. Using the smallest amount possible is best because overdoing it will definitely leave your skin with that greasy feeling and cause difficulty in rubbing it into the skin. I will not repurchase because it is not that great.
Nivea Oil Infused Lotion in Coconut & Monoi Oil
Fifth in this product empties winter 2019 list is Nivea’s Oil Infused Lotion in Coconut and Monoi Oil. A one-time-use packet does not tell me enough about a product to warrant a repurchase. The little bit that I do have works fine with no greasy residue.
Burt’s Bees Coconut Foot Cream
Next is Burt’s Bees Coconut Foot Cream. I am always looking for a dupe of Soap and Glory’s Heel Genius, which actually fixes my feet in one use. This foot cream is a very thick, brown gel that is hard to evenly rub all over. I have to apply a lot of it to feel like I am covering my feet appropriately. It does not 100% fix your feet after one use like Heel Genius, but after about a week of use, you will finally achieve that Heel Genius effect. I will not repurchase because Heel Genius is better.
Secret Body Cleansing Wipes in Cool Waterlily
Here are the Secret Body Cleansing Wipes in Cool Waterlily from Dollar Tree. These are body wipes that are great for use after exercising, or when a quick shower is not available. In my opinion, the wipes are too small and awkwardly cut into rectangular strips. I prefer body wipes that are like an oversized makeup wipe. However, I do think they perform their job as designed. I will not repurchase as they do not fit into my lifestyle.
wet n wild pump Do the Spritz Cooling Face & Body Mist
The last body item in this product empties winter 2019 list is the wet n wild Pump Do the Spritz Cooling Face & Body Mist. This is another great option for when showering is not available for a quick refresh, and it does work. It is difficult to get an even spray with the awful sprayer. I will not repurchase as it does not fit into my lifestyle.
Hair
Living Proof No Frizz Nourishing Styling Cream
The first hair item in this product empties winter 2019 list Living Proof’s No Frizz Nourishing Styling Cream. I apply this all over damp hair and comb it through. Once my hair is dry, I have the same amount of natural frizz that I always do. I will not repurchase because it does not work for me. A hair oil is the most effective way that I can tame frizz.
Pantene Smooth Frizz Fixing Serum
Second is Pantene’s Smooth Frizz Fixing Serum. This is a hair oil and I am always looking for one to dupe Ouai’s Rose Hair and Body Oil. Sadly, this is not a dupe and does not work as well, but it does tame a lot of frizz for me. I will not repurchase, but, as far as I can tell, it is discontinued.
It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-in Plus Keratin
Third is the Miracle Leave-in Plus Keratin spray-in conditioner from It’s a 10. I spray this all over damp hair and comb it through. I like that while it is a thicker, white conditioner spray, it sprays a lot better than the competition. As of now I have no plans to repurchase, and I am not sure if it even changes my hair, but I may consider it in the future if I am looking for a spray leave-in conditioner.
elf Frizz Taming Hair Shine Sheets
Fourth are the elf Frizz Taming Hair Shine Sheets. These are essentially tiny sheets that contain hair oil and a nice fragrance. It is difficult to pull only one sheet out of the package, as I tend to get two or three at a time. These do not have enough product on them and are very dry until you reach the end of the package. I find that these eliminate a little bit of my frizz for a short time only. I will not repurchase.
Loreal Ever Pure Intense Repair Hair Sheet Mask
Fifth in my product empties winter 2019 list is the Loreal Ever Pure Intense Repair Hair Sheet Mask. I recall not liking the hydrating mask because it overdoes it for my hair, but this one is much better. I am not sure how much it does for my hair, but it at least feels like I have used a deep conditioner. I have no plans to repurchase as it is not a game changer.
Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Smoothing Anti-Frizz Blowout Butter
Next is Alterna’s Caviar Anti-Aging Smoothing Anti-Frizz Blowout Butter. Since I do not blowout my hair, I use this as a leave-in conditioner applied to wet hair. I do not see anything changing with my hair, but then again I am not necessarily using it as directed. Since it does not fit into my routine, I will not repurchase.
Redken Extreme Shampoo Fortifier for Distressed Hair
Here is Redken’s Extreme Shampoo Fortifier for Distressed Hair. This is a one-time use packet so it is hard to make a judgement, but it cleans the hair as shampoo should. I need to try more before I can consider a full-size.
Hask
Continuing on with the product empties winter 2019 list, I have four Hask deep conditioners that I will talk about as a group. I never see specific, individual results from these, but in general they do make my hair feel soft and conditioned. I have no plans to repurchase, but these often pop up in various sets throughout the year.
Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Deep Conditioner
Orchid & White Truffle Moisture Rich Deep Conditioner
Argan Oil Repairing Deep Conditioner
Coconut Milk & Organic Honey Curl Care Deep Conditioner
Dove
Next are two different scents of Dove’s Refresh + Care Dry Shampoos. These do effectively work as dry shampoo and do not leave as much white residue in my hair as compared to other brands. In the future when I run out of dry shampoo I will consider this brand.
Refresh + Care Fresh Coconut Dry Shampoo
Refresh + Care Volume & Fullness Dry Shampoo
Bed Head
Mini After Party
Here is a Mini After Party from Bed Head. I recall that a hairdresser once recommended this for me as a product to apply to your hair last after blow drying. Being the rebel that I am, I apply this to damp hair as a leave-in conditioner. I am not seeing any special results, so I will not repurchase.
Self Absorbed Shampoo and Conditioner
The last haircare item in my product empties winter 2019 list is Bed Head’s Self Absorbed Shampoo and Conditioner duo. I am glad that it does not build up horribly in my hair like some other travel-sized shampoo and conditioners I have tried. However, I do not see anything changing with my hair to warrant a repurchase. They cleanse and condition like they should.
Skincare
No 7 Protect and Perfect Intense Advanced Eye Cream
The first skincare item from my product empties winter 2019 list in No 7’s Protect and Perfect Intense Advanced Eye Cream. I do not see this eye cream doing anything for me. There is no reduction of fine lines or dark circles. I will not repurchase.
Algenist Genius Sleeping Collagen
Second is Algenist’s Genius Sleeping Collagen. I apply this at night as a face cream or moisturizer. The formula is very strange with this product. When you scoop it out you get a hard ball that turns into oil as you work it over the skin. A little bit goes a long way because it gets oily fast. I really do not like this product, I do not see any benefits from it, and I will not repurchase.
Sunday Riley Good Genes
Third is Good Genes by Sunday Riley. This is my second sample and I love this product! I do have the full-size. I believe that it helps reduce my acne.
Herbivore Rose hibiscus Coconut Water Hydrating Face Mist
Fourth is Herbivore’s Rose Hibiscus Coconut Water Hydrating Face Mist. This is a spray-on toner water, and spray-on’s are my favorite. It does smell like rose. I cannot say that this toner does anything different for me than any other toner. I have no plans to repurchase, rather, I will keep on trucking with the other toners that I have.
EMK Aurora Cleanser
Fifth is a one-time use sample of EMK’s Aurora Cleanser. This stuff smells delicious! Other than that, a one-time use does not tell me much besides yes, it does clean the face. I need to try more before committing to a full-size.
Kiehl’s Ginger Leaf & Hibiscus Firming Mask
Next is Kiehl’s Ginger Leaf and Hibiscus Firming Mask. I apply this all over the face at night as a night cream or moisturizer. The smell is not too bad, however, I do not notice any changes with my skin. I will not repurchase.
So Fresh So Clean Groovy Green Tea Wash Off Mask
Continuing on with my product empties winter 2019 list I have So Fresh So Clean’s Groovy Green Tea Wash Off Mask, which is a Dollar Tree find. This is a light green clay mask that provides a warming sensation to the skin. The warm feeling is not my favorite because it can be uncomfortable at times and seems like it is created by chemicals. I will not repurchase.
Loreal Multi-Masking Play Kit
Next is Loreal’s Multi-Masking Play Kit. It contains three clay masks in separate plastic pots. The red mask is for glowing skin, the black mask is for detoxing, and the green mask is for purifying. I can get two generous uses out of each pot. Clay masks are probably the best for my breakouts. I test out such a high volume of skincare that I honestly have a hard time deciphering if products are doing anything for me. That is the case with these masks, but they are nice masks. I have no plans to repurchase.
Soap and Glory Puffy Eye Attack Under Eye Brightening Hydrogel Patches
Here is the Soap and Glory Puffy Eye Attack Under Eye Brightening Hydrogel Patches. These patches do stay on the face and provide a hydrated under-eye. I do not suffer from much under eye puffiness, so I see nothing else happening for me. I do have one more of these to work on, but I have no specific plans to repurchase.
St. Ives Revitalizing Sheet Mask in Acai, Blueberry, & Chia Seed Oil
Pressing on with the product empties winter 2019 list, I have the St. Ives Revitalizing Sheet Mask in Acai, Blueberry, and Chia Seed Oil. It fits on the face fine and is not overly wet. I will not repurchase as I see no benefits to my skin.
My Beauty Spot Charcoal Facial Mask Enhanced with Omega 3,6,9
Here is the My Beauty Spot Charcoal Facial Mask Enhanced with Omega 3,6,9. You know that I have been working on these masks all year long, and this is the last one. These are just average face masks to me that are not changing my life in any way. I will not repurchase.
Shiseido
Clarifying Cleansing Foam
Next is Shiseido’s Clarifying Cleansing Foam. This is a daily facial cleanser that really foams up! I am sure that it does its job, but my breakout prone skin does need a little bit more. I will not repurchase.
Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate
Also from Shiseido I have the Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate. I use this as a serum after applying toner but before moisturizer. As you work it into the skin I can smell a slight rubbing alcohol scent, which is concerning to me. This definitely feels like an extra, unnecessary step in my routine, and I do not see my skin changing. I will not repurchase.
Global Beauty Care
Cucumber Hydrogel Face Mask
Next I have some hydrogel masks from Global Beauty Care in the Cucumber and Pore Refining varieties from Dollar Tree. These masks are horrible! Not only do they not stay on the face, there is no way that they are even sized for a human face. Save your money on these!
Pore Refining Face Mask
Miss Spa
Deep Wrinkle Hydrogel Eye Treatment
Continuing on with the product empties winter 2019 list are some Miss Spa products. First is the Deep Wrinkle Hydrogel Eye Treatment. These do stay on the face easily. If you think one treatment has changed the fine lines under my eyes, then you are wrong. I will not repurchase.
Pore Minimizing Facial Peel Off Mask
I also have the Miss Spa Pore Minimizing Facial Peel Off Mask. This is a clear gel mask that does take a good while to dry on me, like most peel-offs do. It does not hurt to remove, but I see no change with my pores. I will not repurchase.
Yes to
Miracle Oil Argan Oil Mud Mask
Next up are two of the Yes to Miracle Oil Argan Oil Mud Masks. These mud masks are golden yellow in color and they do dry down well in 10 to 15 minutes. I do believe that my skin is already bright with the help of serums and other products that I am using, so it is hard to see any changes with these. I have no plans to repurchase.
Triple Masking Kit
Here are two different version of the Yes to Triple Masking Kits. Each kit contains three different mud masks. The directions show that you can wear all three masks at one time by applying them to your areas of concern. I prefer to cover my entire face in one mask at a time, because you get enough of each mask for one generous application. My life is not changed by using these, but Yes to always has nice mud masks. I have no plans to repurchase.
Carrots Vitamin Enriched Kale Paper Mask
For more Yes to I have the Carrots Vitamin Enriched Kale Paper Mask. This definitely has an interesting smell with a slight tingle. How can one really tell if a mask deliveres nutrients to the skin? I have no plans to repurchase. I pretty much buy whatever masks Dollar Tree has to try out, in all honesty.
Superblueberries Recharging Greek Yogurt and Probiotics Super Eye Mask
A little something different from Yes to is the Superblueberries Recharging Greek Yogurt and Probiotics Super Eye Mask. The mask that you wear looks just like the one in the picture, and it is a paper mask. I really cannot say that the skin around my eyes is “stressed” and that this product relieves stress. Really, it is more of a wear it to pamper yourself kind of thing. There is nothing wrong with it, but I have no plans to repurchase.
Coconut Energizing Coffee 3-in-1 Mask, Scrub, & Cleanser
Pressing on with the Yes to products is the Coconut Energizing Coffee 3-in-1 Mask, Scrub, and Cleanser. These masks always smell like coffee and coconut, and this one has plenty of exfoliation action. I use it solely as a mask. Again, not a life changer, and I have no plans to repurchase.
Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Sleeping Mask
I actually have two empties for the Yes to Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Sleeping Masks, but I am too lazy to snap another picture. The product states that you get enough mask for one application, however, I strongly advise against using the entire packet at one time! It is WAY to much for the face and you will not be able to get your skin to absorb it all. Then, it starts to dry, pill up, and fall off of the face. Rather, apply this mask over two nights, and it will absorb just fine. I typically find that these products work well for my acne, but this one is more take it or leave it.
Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Mud Mask
This Yes to Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Mud Mask is a strange one indeed. When it dries it starts to lift from the skin and peel-off, just like a peel-off mask. But, it peels off in tiny pieces which is super agitating! However, it is not a peel-off and can be washed off like normal. I do find that this line of masks helps to reduce acne and breakouts. I am always open to trying more in the future.
Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Peel Off Mask
Now I have an actual peel-off mask with the Yes to Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Mask. I like when a peel-off is not painful to remove, which is the case with this one. You already know my feelings on this acne line, so I might buy more if the opportunity arises.
Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Paper Mask
I want to finish up the Yes to acne masks in this product empties winter 2019 list by reviewing them as a group. Since they are all paper masks, it just makes sense. This company does a nice job of making these masks fit on and stay on the face, while not being too wet. Again, they are good masks to try of acne is a concern. If I come across more I may buy more, but no specific plans right now.
Tomatoes Acne Fighting Paper Mask
Tomatoes White Charcoal Paper Mask
Tomatoes Detoxifying & Hydrating Black + White Charcoal Yin & Yang Paper Mask
Freeman
Rejuvenating Cucumber and Pink Salt Clay Masks
We are finally moving onto to some Freeman masks! First, I have two bottles of the Rejuvenating Cucumber and Pink Salt Clay Masks. It provides a light exfoliation, but it is by no means gritty. The pastel mint color is fun. I cannot say that this mask changes my skin, but it is a nice spa day moment to use. I have no plans to purchase it directly, but sometimes it pops up in gift sets.
Detoxifying Charcoal and Black Sugar Mud Mask
I also have two of the Detoxifying Charcoal and Black Sugar Mud Masks. I need a solid charcoal mud mask in my routine, so I will consider a full-size in the future. This one is so smooth and rich. I believe in the power of charcoal to work with acne and clear the pores.
Deep Clearing Manuka Honey and Tea Tree Oil Clay Mask and Cleanser
Here is the Freeman Deep Clearing Manuka Honey and Tea Tree Oil Clay Mask and Cleanser. I use this solely as a mask. This is more of a powerful mask designed to target breakouts and oily skin. I will consider purchase of a full-size if the need arises.
Hydrating Glacier Water and Pink Peony Gel Cream Mask
The last Freeman mask is the Hydrating Glacier Water and Pink Peony Gel Cream Mask. You can use this mask in a variety of ways, including as a wash-off, as an overnight mask, or even as a day cream. I use it as an overnight mask. I can get about a weeks worth of uses or more from this one packet. The key is not applying too much so that it absorbs into the skin. It does not leave a mess on my pillow, and it does hydrate the skin. However, it irritates my eyes. I will not repurchase.
elf
Hydrating Water Essence
Moving on to elf products, I first have the Hydrating Water Essence. I use this as a toner water. While it is a bit thicker than water, I do fill a spray bottle with this product so that I can spray it on. It kind of globs instead of mists. I agree that it hydrates the skin. As for now, I will not repurchase as I continue to work on other toner waters.
Detoxifying Bubble Mask
Here is the Detoxifying Bubble Mask. It is a sheet mask that covers itself in thick bubbles. I really cannot prove that a mask is detoxifying, but I buy this because it is so much fun to wear, and it is relaxing. I have no plans to repurchase, but sometimes I do stock up during 50% off sales because you cannot beat the price.
Oil Control Sheet Mask
Next is the Oil Control Sheet Mask. When using this in the grand scheme of things, I do not think one treatment is effective. You may see more results if you use this mask prior to applying makeup. I have no plans to repurchase, but you never know with a sale. Before I forget, I do want to mention that elf does a good job of sizing their masks to fit your face. They stay on the face and do not drip product all over.
Coconut Water Infused Moisturizing Mask
Here is the Coconut Water Infused Moisturizing Mask. This smells great, and it does moisturize the skin. If that is a concern for you then I do recommend this mask. I do not suffer from dry skin, so I have no reason to repurchase except for a sale.
Hydrating Water Sheet Mask
The last elf product is the Hydrating Water Sheet Mask. My thoughts are the same as those on the moisturizing mask above.
Spasations Himilayan Salt Charcoal Detoxifying Sheet Masks
The last skincare item in my product empties winter 2019 list is a two pack of the Spasations Himalayan Salt Charcoal Detoxifying Sheet Masks. I do not have any complaints on the fit of the masks or level of wetness. These are not life changers, rather, just basic masks. I have no plans to repurchase.
Nails
Formula X Delete To-Go Nail Polish Remover Pads
The last item in this product empties winter 2019 list is actually a nail item. While the Formula X Delete To-go Nail Polish Remover pads are discontinued, I want to review them anyway. My local Tuesday Morning is selling a buyout of Formula X right now. These 15 pads are individually wrapped, and one pad claims to remove nail polish from all 10 fingers. The pads are soaked in pure acetone, and they are decently thick with the ability to scrub, but they are not abrasive. Since acetone is so highly volatile, I struggle with removing nail polish after doing five nails, so I re-wet the pad with more acetone. I do not not agree with the 10 nail claim. If I can find these again I might repurchase, since they do work quick.
Conclusion
Now at the end of this product empties winter 2019 list, thank you for sticking it out! 94 products is definitely a lot to review from the categories of beauty, body, skincare, haircare, fragrance, and nails! Hopefully you have found a few items that you want to try. In 2020 I have no set goals, but I think that it may be harder to come up with empties after going through so many in 2019. We shall see what happens! Until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.
