In this Dashing Diva Glaze vs. Gloss comparison analysis, I break down how each of these perform. It is important to note that Glaze are semi-cured gel nail polish strips, while Gloss are fully cured gel polish.
Where to Buy
You can find these strips at most drugstores, including Amazon and Ulta. The patterns and colors will vary retailer to retailer.
Application
When it comes to the application process, there is not much difference between Gloss and Glaze. For each set, you need to start with clean, dehydrated nails and pushed cuticles. Then, you select the best size strip for each nail, sizing down if you are between sizes.
Next, apply each strip to your nails and cut the excess off with either nail clippers or cuticle scissors. The final step for Gloss is to simply enjoy your manicure! Glaze requires an LED lamp for curing before you are completely finished.
Removal
Both types of strips are to be removed in the same way. You should slowly peel them off to avoid damaging your natural nail. A drop of cuticle oil can be used to make the process easier.
Dashing Diva Glaze Review
Dashing Diva Glaze is a semi-cured gel nail polish strip that claims to provide durable wear for up to 14 days. The application process involves selecting the best size strip for each nail and adhering it using an LED lamp for curing. The strips feature a “Dome Effect,” which provides volume and shine to the nails.
The strips do not fully harden like traditional nail polish, leading to slight flexibility. I am impressed with the inclusion of various size options, reducing the need for custom sizing every single strip.
The strips provided a glossy finish similar to acrylic nails. They lasted for 14 days of wear and could have went longer without peeling, chipping, or cracking.

Strengths:
- Glossy and shiny finish resembling salon-quality nails.
- Adherence lasts for the claimed duration without peeling.
- Customizable size options reduce the need for extensive trimming.
Weaknesses:
- The application process is time-consuming and may not be suitable for everyday use.
My overall review is that they are an effective and long-lasting alternative to traditional nail polish strips. While the process may be time-consuming, the results are impressive, making it ideal for special occasions.

Dashing Diva Nail Strips Review
Dashing Diva Nail Strips are adhesive stickers made from real gel polish that is fully cured and more like a sticker. The application process is similar to other nail polish strips, involving selecting the right size strip and adhering it to the nails.
I appreciate the ease of application but air bubbles are difficult to avoid. I do have to custom size them.
The strips showed significant wear and tear on the tips after seven days, resembling chipped nail polish. However, there was no lifting or catching in hair, which is common with other brands.

Strengths:
- Easy application process without the need for a top coat or UV light.
- Initial appearance is appealing and offers various nail art designs.
- Minimal issues with lifting or catching in hair.
Weaknesses:
- Significant wear and tear at the tips after seven days, reducing overall longevity.
- Air bubbles are difficult to avoid.
- Size options are not the best for smaller women.
My overall review is that they provide an attractive nail art option with easy application. However, their durability is limited, making them more suitable for short-term wear or special events rather than extended use.

Comparison and Contrast
Glaze offers longer-lasting wear, superior adhesion, and a more professional finish. On the other hand, the Nail Strips provide an array of nail art designs and are effortless to apply.
The key differences lie in their wearability and overall effectiveness, with Dashing Diva Glaze being the preferred choice for long-lasting results.

One Response
I’ve used both DD glaze and DD gloss, and I really hate the glaze. It catches in my hair and they chipped and cracked on day 5. Even though I’m rough on my hands, my gloss strips can get me at least 12 days, and have gone as far as 18. I’ve been wearing them for 3 or 4 years now and never experienced any air bubbles at all, but if the edges start to show wear, a very little bit of light filing gets them looking like new again.
