It is true when they say the years go by faster as you get older! As I wish away my 20’s, it is time for my annual what I got for Christmas 2023 blog post. As always, these are the ground rules. As I have plenty to share, I only provide the item name, a bullet point list of what comes in a set, any links that can be found, plus necessary comments. What I Got For Christmas Haul – Makeup
Profusion
Frosted Snow Sparkle 52 Shade Face & Eye Palette
First for what I got for Christmas 2023 are some Profusion sets. Here we have the Frosted Snow Sparkle 52 Shade Face & Eye Palette, which is too long to get all in one photo! It contains eyeshadow, blush, bronzer, and contour for a complete look.
Festive Brows Brow Defining Kit
Second is the Festive Brows Brow Defining Kit. I am skeptical of their instructions to apply the “brow primer” to your brows first with your fingers, then fill in with the powder. I am worried it will cause the powders to look clingy and patchy. We will see! The brush and tweezers are very nice.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Fall Romance Eyeshadow Palette
Third is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Fall Romance Eyeshadow Palette. It features a dark, earth-tone color palette that screams Fall, and perhaps grunge. It has 12 shades in a mix of mattes, shimmers, and metallics.
Urban Decay Naked Metal Mania
Fourth is the Urban Decay Naked Metal Mania palette. I collect the Naked palettes. I appreciate how this one has core basic shades for your crease and definition to compliment the bold hues.
No 7 Limited Edition Eyeshadow Palette
Fifth is the No 7 Limited Edition Eyeshadow Palette. The packaging does not say much about this cute mini, but, the shades are lovely for daily use.
Lulu Face & Body Gems
Next is a set of Lulu Face & Body Gems. The gems and pearls can be applied to clean, dry skin as a sticker. You can re-use them by adhering with lash glue.
GXVE
Eye See in Sparkle Multidimensional Eye Pigment in Glimmer
This year I got much more GXVE, as I hope to do a brand review in the new year! First from the brand is the Eye See in Sparkle Multidimensional Eye Pigment in Glimmer. It is a beautiful champagne gold hue to really get that celebrity pop.
Spark the Fire Plumping Lip Balm in L-O-L
Second is the GXVE Spark the Fire Plumping Lip Balm in L-O-L. This should be a tinted balm in a neutral color, and it smells heavenly. Gwen’s packaging is simply to die for.
Anaheim Line Pencil Lip Liner in Scarlet Red
Third is the GXVE Anaheim Line Pencil Lip Liner in Scarlet Red. While this is a basic pencil liner, I hope to wear it with her signature red lippies.
Pout to Get Real Overlining Lip Pencil in Do Whatever
Last for makeup and this brand is the GXVE Pout to Get Real Overlining Lip Pencil in Do Whatever. This one is retractable with a unique shape, and features a brush end for diffusing the product.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
Fifth is the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water set, but this year they are not including the reusable cotton rounds. You have seen me review these many times, and the Vitamin C is my favorite for the healthy glow.
Mario Badescu Mini Mist Collection
Next is the Mario Badescu Mini Mist Collection. I use these as toner water before skincare application, but they can be applied at any time along the course of your routine for a shot of hydration. Here is what the set includes:

Carmex Classic Medicated Lip Balm and Cupcake Batter Stick
This year Carmex really saved my behind, so I am grateful for this set. The tube is their classic medicated balm, where as the stick offers SPF protection but no medication.

At the end of what I got for Christmas 2023 are some items that do not quite fit into the other categories. This is an LED Lighted Compact Mirror. It is rechargeable with a normal and a magnified mirror. The sleek design can easily fit into your bag.
Sejoy Portable Oral Irrigator
I have an interest in water flossing but have never done it, so I will be trying the Sejoy Portable Oral Irrigator. I like this compact to-go design better than a bulky countertop model. It comes with five tips, a travel bag, and charging cord. Would you like to see a blog post on this topic?
