The first post of the year is getting us started in style for sure. It is time to reveal what I got for Christmas 2019. Like I say year after year, the intention of this post is not to show off, rather, to share some great products that you may be interested in. If you think that you may become offended by this post, then do not read it and move onto something else. Otherwise, I have products from all across the board, from skincare, makeup, fashion, and more. I hope that you will stick around for some incredible swatches and popular favorites.

Walmart No Boundaries
Skinny Pants in Rust
The first items in my what I got for Christmas 2019 list are some skinny pants. The ‘rust’ pants pull more red in this picture, but in real life they are more of a rusty terracotta orange. As for the black pants, they are basic black skinny pants.
Skinny Pants in Black
Sherpa Hood Yellow Plaid Shirt
Second is a yellow plaid shirt with a twist- it also has a sherpa lined hood. This is perfect for casual, dress down days.
Leopard Fleece Pullover
Third is a leopard fleece pullover. I will definitely wear this as an outerwear piece.
Delores Mini Bag
Fourth is the Delores Mini Bag. This handbag is 100% me and my style. From the front, the stark contrast of the black and white is lovely, but the studs add an edge. When you turn the bag to the side and see the red plaid, it really takes it over the top. For a ‘mini’ bag it is very spacious.
Bar Clutch in Black
Fifth for fashion items as part of what I got for Christmas 2019 is the Bar Clutch in black. These come in a variety of colors, and I already have the lime green bag. You can remove the strap and carry it as a traditional clutch. They work great to add a touch of class and style to any look, and are perfect for dressing up.
Madison & Mallory
MMS Design Studio Studded Clutch
Next is a studded clutch. It comes with a removable, crossbody strap. Believe it or not, it is a lot more spacious than it may look, with plenty of compartments. The material has a nice weight and feel of quality to it. I am absolutely obsessed with this bag, and the studs are totally my style.
Buffalo Plaid Sleeve Shirt
Continuing on with what I got for Christmas 2019, I have a heather gray shirt with red buffalo plaid balloon sleeves. Due to the oversized nature, you can easily tie or tuck this shirt for a better fit. This shirt will look great with the studded clutch from above, and it is super soft.
Brilliance Crystal Anchor Necklace Sterling Silver & 18k Gold Plated
Here is an anchor necklace plated in 18k gold and sterling silver. Anchors are my favorite shape and I wear them in all formats. This is a nice quality piece with super shiny crystals.
Lady Gaga & Elton John Love Bravery Enamel Pin
The last fashion items in this what I got for Christmas 2019 post are some of the Love Bravery products from the Lady Gaga and Elton John collection. Since this collection came out a few years ago, I am forgetting that it even exists! I have both an enamel pin and a keychain that feature a black motto jacket.

elf Supermask
Here is Supermask. This is a gel mask that claims to calm your skin. You are to apply it to your face and neck for 10 to 15 minutes, and then rinse it off.
No 7 Protect & Perfect Duo

Fifth is the No 7 Protect & Perfect Duo, which is for anti-aging. Starting with the Protect & Perfect Intense Advanced Day Cream, you are to smooth it onto your face and neck after applying the serum.

You are to smooth the Protect & Perfect Intense Advanced Serum onto your face and neck both in the morning and at night.

No 7 Lift & Luminate Triple Action Serum Boost Sheet Mask
Next for skin care as part of my what I got for Christmas 2019 list is the No 7 The Best of Lift and Luminate Collection, which is also for anti-aging. First is the Triple Action Serum Boost Sheet Mask. This anti-wrinkle mask is to be worn for 15-20 minutes, and then you are to massage the excess serum into your skin.
No 7 Lift & Luminate Triple Action Serum
You are to smooth the Triple Action Serum onto your face and neck both in the morning and at night.
No 7 Lift & Luminate Triple Action Eye Cream
Here is the Triple Action Eye Cream. You are to dot it around the eyes and blend it into the skin both in the morning and the evening.
No 7 Lift & Luminate Triple Action Day Cream
Here is the Triple Action Day Cream. You are to apply it to your face and neck after applying the serum.
No 7 Lift & Luminate Triple Action Night Cream
Here is the Triple Action Night Cream. You are to apply it to your face and neck at night after applying the serum.
Soap & Glory Mask Force Five
Soap & Glory Super Hydrating Miracle Moisture Mask
Continuing on, I have the Soap and Glory Mask Force Five set. Starting with the Super Hydrating Miracle Moisture Mask, it claims to smooth, hydrate, and plump the skin. You are to wear it on clean skin for 20 to 30 minutes, and then massage the excess serum in.
Soap & Glory Super Hydrating Puffy Eye Attack Brightening Hydrogel Patches
Here is the Super Hydrating Puffy Eye Attack Brightening Hydrogel Patches. These under eye patches claim to reduce the appearance of puffiness, while making the area brighter for a more awake effect. You are to wear them for 20 to 30 minutes, then remove them and massage the excess serum in.
Soap & Glory Purifying De-clog Mask
Here is the Purifying De-clog Mask. It is a peel off that includes a scooper. You are to apply a thin, even layer to clean skin and wear it for 20 to 25 minutes. Once dry, peel it off and rinse your face. It claims to absorb excess oil.
Soap & Glory Skin Smoothing Pore Refining Mask
Here is the Skin Smoothing Pore Refining Mask. It claims to smooth and refine pores while absorbing excess oil, revitalizing, and reducing shine. You are to wear it for 15 to 20 minutes, and then massage the excess serum into the skin.
Soap & Glory Party Recovery Radiance Boosting Mask
Here is the Party Recovery Radiance Boosting Mask. It claims to brighten and refresh the skin. You are to leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes, and then massage the excess serum into the skin.
Spascriptions
Purifying Metallic Wash Off Mask
Last for the skincare products are some potted masks by Spascriptions that all come with applicators. First is the Purifying Metallic Wash Off Mask. It claims to draw out deep dirt and excess sebum while purifying the skin. You are to apply an even layer to your clean face and wear it for 10 to 15 minutes, then wash it off. This mask can be used two to three times per week.
Glitter Peel Off Facial Mask Pore Refining
Here is the Glitter Peel Off Facial Mask in Pore Refining. Both of these glitter masks remind me of the wet n wild Pump glitter masks. This one claims to reduce fine lines and wrinkles while stimulating collagen production, deeply cleansing, soothing, and refreshing the skin. You are to apply an even layer and wear it for 30 minutes or until dry. Then, peel it off and rinse your face.
Glitter Peel Off Facial Mask Firming
Here is the final mask as part of what I got for Christmas 2019- the Glitter Peel Off Facial Mask in Firming. It claims to tone, add elasticity, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, nourish, moisturize, soften, and tighten. You are to apply an even layer and wear it for 30 minutes or until dry. Then, peel it off and rinse your face.
Body
Soap & Glory
The Daily Smooth Indulgent Body Butter
The first body item in my what I got for Christmas 2019 list is Soap and Glory’s The Daily Smooth Indulgent Body Butter. It claims to moisturize with the “Mist You Madly” scent. This product is new to me and I will use it as an all over body lotion.
Sugar Crush Body Lotion
Second is the Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Lotion. The Sugar Crush scent is my favorite, as it smells like sweet lime. I will use this as an all over body lotion as well. It claims to hydrate, condition, and smooth. You should apply it to damp skin.
Bag a Little Beauty
Third is the Bag a Little Beauty set. All of the products come in a spacious makeup bag.
Soap & Glory The Scrub of Your Life
Here the The Scrub Of Your Life. This is a body wash that contains exfoliants. You are to apply it to your skin in the shower, scrub, then rinse.
Soap & Glory Clean On Me
Here is Clean On Me as a part of what I got for Christmas 2019. This is a creme body wash. You are to work it into a lather, then rinse.
Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter
Here is The Righteous Butter. This is a thick, rich body butter or lotion. You are to apply it to damp skin. It is very nice to use in the winter!
Soap & Glory Off Your Face 3-in-1 Daily Purifying Cloths
Finally for body items as part of what I got for Christmas 2019 are the Off Your Face 3-in-1 Daily Purifying Cloths. This 25 pack of wipes claims to tone, cleanse, and exfoliate. They are the size of makeup wipes, and have a quilted hexagon texture. With light pressure you can exfoliate.
Hair
Loreal Blow Dry It Thermal Smoother Cream
The first hair item in my what I got for Christmas 2019 list is the Loreal Blow Dry It Thermal Smoother Cream. It is included with the carrying case for the Revlon One Step Dryer that is coming up. It claims to tame frizz and to provide heat protection. You are to apply a quarter size amount onto the mid-length of your damp hair.
Ion Automatic Crimping Hair Iron
Second is the Ion Automatic Crimping Hair Iron. The days of spending hours crimping your hair are no more with this innovative hot tool. It features rotating crimping barrels that enable you to slide the tool down your hair for a quick crimp.
Revlon Salon One Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer
Third is the Revlon Salon One Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer. This tool combines a round brush and a blowdryer for an overall easier at-home blowout experience. It features an oval brush head with nylon and boar bristles that somehow provide sleek, blown out hair without tangles. There are cool, warm, and hot heat settings. My hair always gets big and frizzy with blowdryers or boar bristles, so I am afraid this beyond popular tool will not work for me. I also fear my hair getting tangled in the barrel.
Revlon Salon One Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer case
Fourth and finally for hair products as part of what I got for Christmas 2019 is a storage and travel case for the Revlon Hair Dryer. This can be found on Amazon.
Makeup
elf
Poreless Putty Primer sample
I am ending this what I got for Christmas 2019 post with all things makeup. First is this elf Poreless Putty Primer sample. This is my second sample, and I have two full size packages. While it may be an unpopular opinion, I do not think that it makes my makeup last longer than other primers, and it does nothing for the pores on my nose. I may keep this or donate it.
Sweet Tooth Sponge Trio
Second is the Sweet Tooth Sponge Trio. Both the Blending Sponge and Total Face Sponge are for applying foundation. The Total Face Sponge feels like a better sponge density wise than the Blending Sponge. The Precision Sponge is the same one found in the three piece white sponge set, which feels very dense. None of these sponges are new.

Cotton Candy 4-piece Face & Eye Brush Set
Third is the Cotton Candy Four Piece Face and Eye Brush Set. None of these brushes are new, they just feature a chrome handle. As usual, they are the quality that you expect from elf with sturdy handles and soft bristles. The Angled Blush Brush is my all-time favorite blush brush, beating out all others in my collection. You can use the Small Angled Brush for applying eyeliner or brow powders and gels. The Blending Brush can blend out eyeshadows. Finally, the Powder Brush is a flat top brush for applying powder to the entire face.

elf Best of elf Set
Fourth is the Best of elf set. I presume that these products are considered the best from elf, but I would make different selections if it was my choice.
elf Total Face Sponge
First in the set is the Total Face Sponge again. This one is misshapen due to the packaging. As I mention above, this sponge is for applying foundation, and is probably one of the better sponges that elf makes.
elf Jelly Highlighter in Bubbly
Second in the set is the Jelly Highlighter in Bubbly. These are truly jelly because they jiggle like no tomorrow. You can see in the swatch the intense, metallic shine. These do dry down after a few minutes and can be blended directly onto the high points of the face, or mixed into foundation.
elf Poreless Putty Primer
Third in the set is the Poreless Putty Primer. As I mention above, this stuff is not a game changer for me, but I know many swear by it. I do not see my makeup lasting longer than normal, nor do I see the massive pores on my nose being blurred. I can take it or leave it.
elf Lip Plumping Gloss in Champagne Glam
Fourth in the set is the Lip Plumping Gloss in Champagne Glam. The formula is sticky and is clear with a fine gold glitter. Lip gloss, especially the sticky kind, is not my cup of tea.
elf Haute Chocolate Eyes in Spice
Fifth is a Haute Chocolate Eyes palette in Spice. There is a mixture of mattes and shimmers that are mostly neutral, but with a few pops of color. The yellow and the red are definitely the eye catchers here. You will notice that the neutral shade in the top row is similar to my skin tone, so it is hard to see in the swatch. Otherwise, this palette swatches well for an elf palette. The true test is using it on the eyes.
elf Haute Chocolate Eyes in Everything Nice
Next is another Haute Chocolate Eyes palette in Everything Nice. Again, we have a mixture of mattes and shimmers in a natural shade range of browns and pinks. In similar fashion to the Spice palette, the swatches are decent.
Maybelline Winter Wonder Glam Total Look Kit
Continuing on what I got for Christmas 2019, I have Maybelline’s Winter Wonder Glam Total Look Kit. This kit makes an excellent gift for makeup lovers, not just because of the products included, but three out of the four items are full size! Let’s explore them now.
Maybelline Lasting Fix Setting Spray
I already have a bottle of Maybelline’s Lasting Fix Setting Spray in my collection, and I firmly believe it is the best setting spray at the drugstore. While it is comparable to Urban Decay’s All Nighter Setting Spray, I will say that All Nighter will make your makeup last longer, but Lasting Fix does try it’s best. Lasting Fix and All Nighter do have different ingredients. Lasting Fix will also melt your makeup into your skin and make everything look uniform with a matte finish.
Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Pink For Me
Believe it or not, this is the first ever Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in my collection! For such a drugstore classic, it is a wonder that I am not trying it sooner. Pink For Me is a lovely deep, mauve rose hue that is perfect for daily wear and will match many makeup looks. The finish is satin, or somewhat shiny or glossy.
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
Lash Sensational Mascara is one of my two all-time favorite mascaras, so I always welcome a new tube into my collection. I do not want to open this one to prevent it from drying out before use. It features a curved silicone wand that hugs all of your lashes for a true va va voom false lash effect. As far as formula is concerned, it takes a week or two of use for the formula to hit its prime. It starts very wet and will make your lashes look crazy covered in mascara, but stick with it and I promise it will work out.
Maybelline Master Precise All Day Liquid Liner in Black
Finally, the Master Precise All Day Liquid Liner shows up in many Walmart Beauty Boxes, and I am currently using a tube up. This precision felt tip liner is ideal for creating lines both thick and thin with control. The formula is matte black and long-lasting.
Essence Lash Princess Mascaras
Here is a gift set of three Essence Lash Princess mascaras. The world is in love with the False Lash Effect version, which I really like as well and I have emptied a tube. I am curious to try both the Volume and Sculpted Volume versions to see if they are as good as the False Lash Effect. Interestingly, all three have different wands. Volume is curved in two places like a snake. Sculpted Volume has one curve. False Lash Effect has a straight wand.

Urban Decay
Sweet Little Vices
Pressing on with what I got for Christmas 2019, I have Urban Decay’s Sweet Little Vices set. It contains four mini, deluxe sample size Vice Lipsticks that correspond to the Naked Honey, Cherry, and Heat palettes. Personally, I think all of the lipsticks smell like honey, but maybe I am crazy. California Honey is a light yellow gold with glitter. I can see wearing it over another lip color, but on its own it may not look great with my pale skin. Keep Tame is a deep rose in a sheer, glossy finish. Bing is a muted hot pink with a semi-matte finish. Finally, Red Hot is a bright pink red with a matte finish.

Urban Decay Naked Honey Palette
Here is the Urban Decay Naked Honey palette! I have been waiting so long to play with it. It features a combination of matte and shimmer shades in a neutral brown and gold format. Some of those browns look like excellent crease shades. Of course, this palette swatches well because Urban Decay always knocks eyeshadow, and Naked palettes, out of the park. Naked Honey is a true twist on your mama’s standard neutral palette.
Urban Decay Honey Pot
Next is the Urban Decay Honey Pot set. In all honesty, I only want this set for the Mini Honey Palette, as it is not sold separately. But, I will try to use the other products.
Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray Honey scent
First in the set is the classic All Nighter Setting Spray, but in a limited edition honey scent. You already know that I love this setting spray, and using it all up will be simple.
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Amber
Second in the set is a 24/7 Glide on Eye Pencil in Amber. It comes at no surprise that it is amber in color, and the formula is super metallic. I never seem to use eyeliners that are not black, but I remain optimistic that this one will not collect dust.
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Honey
Third in the set is the Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Honey. It is clear with gold glitter. While it does dry down like Primer Potion should, I really cannot see myself using this stuff. If anything, I will only prime the eyelid and stop at my crease. How can this stuff even look good under eyeshadows? If you plan on wearing it with a gold shimmer or glitter eyeshadow then maybe it will work out.
Urban Decay Mini Honey Eyeshadow Palette
Fourth in the set is the Mini Honey Eyeshadow Palette. The shades are similar to the actual Naked Honey palette, but they are different. All are shimmers, with the exception of two shades. Stix looks like a great crease shade. Drizzle is close to my skin tone so the swatch is hard to see. But, the swatches look good to me!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Pro Pigment Palette Vol. 1
The last item in my what I got for Christmas 2019 post is volume one of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Pro Pigment Palette collection. In total there are three palettes. Volume one focuses on purples and pinks, with some unexpected punches of color. There is a mixture of matte and shimmer finishes, but the quality is outstanding. This palette is highly pigmented. I like that each row has a letter, but the individual shades do not have names. I cannot wait to play with this palette and explore the countless looks that I can create. You really feel like a pro using it!
In summary of what I got for Christmas 2019, I am highly grateful that Santa is getting me many items from my wish list. Talk about being beyond blessed to be gifted all of these higher-end items and gorgeous palettes. I am looking forward to trying these products out during the course of 2020, and reporting back on those products that I use up. Are there any gifts shown here that you also have? Which of these gifts are your favorites? Please let me know in the comments. Until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.
