As the putty line continues to be successful for elf Cosmetics, they have rolled out a new bronzer addition. Here I am revieiwng the elf Luminous Putty Bronzer by covering all of the shades in full detail. By the end you will know if these bronzers are any good, and what shades fit you best.
Details & Claims
First, I will start with where to buy the bronzers. They are $7 each and can be found at most retailers that carry the brand. For access to the full range of eight shades, you need to shop from elf directly or Amazon. The shade selection will vary from store to store.
This bronzer has a putty to powder formula with a hint of shimmer. It should be both highly pigmented, yet buildable. The creamy color is designed to melt into your skin to provide a natural and sunkissed look, all with a semi-matte finish.
It should smooth and even out your complexion while being lightweight and non-greasy. This bronzer is formulated for all skin types.
To apply the bronzer, pat it on with your fingers, then use circular motions to blend it out. In terms of the best tools to use, you may use elf’s Putty Bronzer Brush. I also find that their Putty Blush, Putty Primer Applicator, and Small Stipple Brushes work amazingly well! Of course, your fingers or a sponge will also do.

Review
You will notice that this review mirrors my elf Putty Bronzer review, because they are identical except for the glow. I find that these bronzers have buildable coverage that you can easily control. They blend out like a dream, as they are truly soft, smooth and creamy.
The lightweight claim is true, and they will not remove coverage undernath. You can blend these easily with your tool of choice, which I detail above in the application directions.
Depending on your skin tone, you might be able to use these for double duty as both bronzer and contour! The shade range is highly inclusive, ranging from options for fair to deep skin tones. As I have fair skin, some options here are too dark, but I can probably apply them under my foundation as contour for an underpainting effect.
These do set down with a semi-matte powder finish, which contribues to the fact that they last all day without fading. I love that the luminosity is not overdone, as these look very fresh and healthy on the skin for that sun-kissed look.
As will all cream products, it is not recommended to apply them over powder. These remind me a lot of the other blushes and bronzer in this Putty line. You should check out my elf Luminous Putty Blush review for the ultimate compliment to this line.
