elf loves to dupe high-end makeup, and this is not the first time that they have gone after Charlotte Tilbury to break the internet with something insanely popular. The elf Halo Glow Beauty Wand line probably looks familiar. While I have not tested the dupe, I am still giving you the full details and swatches to help you to find the right shade.
Details & Claims
I am going to start with where to buy the wands. Since they are a new item, they are only available from elf’s website and Ulta. As time goes on I would expect to see them at all retailers that carry the brand. The wands are $9 each.
Each wand should be easy to use with a cushion tip applicator. The formulas are designed to give a radiant, lit-from-with glow. The liquids should be lightweight and buildable for effortless blending. Squalane is the key ingredient with a 2% concentration.
To break down each product further, the blush is for providing a flushed and luminous complexion, while the contour gives a natural, radiant sculpt.

Review
I find that they are very easy to use. A gentle squeeze is all that is needed to flood the cushion-tip with the right amount of product. Everything blends out effortlessly with a sponge or a brush and looks skin-like. You should not fear applying too much product, as they are buildable.
As with most luminous makeup products, these will not dry down 100%, as it will maintain a tacky feel. I recommend not powdering over them to preserve the radiant effect. Since these are liquid makeup, they should not be applied over powdered skin. They make a great pairing to the rest of the Halo Glow line, as detailed in my elf Halo Glow Liquid Filter review.
The shade ranges are designed to work with most skin tones. You should not have to purchase all of the shades to achieve your desired look. For me, the darker contours and highlighters are not practical. I can use the super dark contours under my foundation for an underpainting effect, which is great for fair skin. Depending on your skin tone, you might be able to use some contour shades as bronzer.
The contours are very interesting because they do not have the metallic shimmers that are in the blush and highlighter. The formula is somehow matte and solid, yet still fresh and luminous on the skin.
Ultimately, these work amazingly well, meet all of their claims, and last all day without fading. This is a good $9 spent at the drugstore that rivals high-end.
