While it may not feel like the seasons are changing in some parts of the country, it is still time to talk about spring 2019 fashion trends. You may notice that many of these trends are repeats, or are not far off from the past seasons. This is a good thing if you have already stocked your closet, making you ahead of the game! My list of the top 10 trends will arm you with inspiration for your next shopping trip or wardrobe overhaul. Let’s dive into the list.
Spring 2019 Fashion Trends
1) Crochet accents
The first of the spring 2019 fashion trends are crochet accents. You may find them lining shirts and dresses, or even stitched onto handbags. Some pieces may even be entirely crochet.
2) Animal print
Second I have a familiar trend, which is animal print. It can be found on every type of fashion piece, from shoes, belts, dresses, and more.
3) Stripes
The third trend is stripes. We are most commonly seeing stripes on jumpsuits, but they are also sneaking in on pants.
4) Boho vibes
Next, boho-inspired pieces are all the rage. You can incorporate them in with particular patterns or cuts. Most boho pieces contain intricate patterns, crochet accents, and balloon sleeves.
5) Beach inspired bags
Continuing on with the spring 2019 fashion trends are handbags that make you feel like taking a trip to the beach! These can be bags made of wicker, straw, crochet, or beachy stripes.
6) Neon pops
Number six in this list of trends is super fun! I encourage you to find ways to work neon accents into your everyday aesthetic, from earrings, bags, belts, and more.
7) Mules
Mules are a timeless style classic and are almost always trendy. The best thing about this type of shoe is that it is comfortable and easy to dress up or down, even for work.
8) Simplistic gold jewelry
Moving right along, we are seeing rather simple jewelry this season. I am noticing mostly gold pieces, with minute pops of silver. Layered necklaces, stacked rings, and hoops of various sizes are in right now. For the most part, the pieces are dainty.
9) Black and white handbags
In visiting store after store I am blow away by the handbag counters containing almost exclusively black and white handbags, with a few statement pieces mixed in. Black and white is timeless and classy, as well as easy to pair with virtually any look. Odds are you already have these types of bags in your collection.
10) Trending colors
To end this list of spring 2019 fashion trends I want to talk about colors that are in. You will notice that these hues are earthy and a bit dark for spring, as we typically think of pastels. This palette is not a far cry from what we saw in fall 2018 and winter 2019, with some definite repeats.
