elf claims that their formula should moisturize, hydrate, and nourish your lips, all while being lightweight. Each flavor has a sheer wash of color. The key ingredients are shea butter, hyaluronic acid, and goji berry, all of which support the claims.

For this elf Squeeze Me Lip Balm review it is important to remember that I have been covering this brand in-depth for 10 years. My first ever review is indeed elf Cosmetics!
These new balms are definitely easier to apply than the former, due to the slanted applicator and thredded cap. The tube design is easy to squeeze and to grip, which is great for those with arthritus or other conditions.
As already stated, the flavors are highly pleasing and do not strike me as artificial or over-the-top. The sheer wash of color is lovely on the lips, paired with a juicy shine that is a bit more glowy than your standard balm. They are thicker and feel like a lip mask, yet they stay lightwieght and comfortable. They are not sticky.
While the small tubes are great for travel, they each come 3/4 of the way filled. That means you will use these balms up faster than what you are used to, resulting in more frequent repurchases. The $4 price point is not bad in comparison.
The natural ingredients are fair-trade certified and are skin-loving and safe. Most lip balms on the market that are highly popular contain ingredients that actually dry out your lips and cause you to be addicted to using them. elf avoids this all together to give you a safer and effective experience. The formula leaves my lips feeling healthy and the leftover dead skin falls right off! Below is a breakdown of their performance:

elf is obviously trying to dupe Laneige with this lineup. While I cannot make a dupe comparison, you are getting top ingredients and good results from elf at a fraction of the price, making these a decent choice for your budget.
These are great to use overnight as a lip mask, or, keep them in your purse, car, or desk to wear as needed. You can also prime your lips for makeup application. Just remember to wipe the product off before applying your lip color! You can apply these over a lip color to add a shot of hydration as well as some shine.
