I love the start of the year because that means plenty of new makeup to explore, and favorites to add to the books. This year with the wet n wild 2024 new products, they are giving me a lot to talk about! They are adding on to product lines that they have not touched in years, making some updates, plus getting with the times. A big trend right now is the clean girl aesthetic, or no-makeup makeup, which these products can support. As usual, the releases are all over the place with disorganization and wild goose chase. I have all of the items and I will let you know what is up with reviews, swatches, star ratings, and a look.

Where to Buy the 2024 New Products
I will start by detailing where you can find these products. There was no true wet n wild 2024 new products release date, because the products started seeping out into stores in January 2024. For access to the full lineup of releases, wet n wild’s website is the best place to go. Their website is the only place that has the two new contour sticks currently. Amazon has most of everything. Ulta has nothing yet! Target has a handful of items. Your local Walgreens might have many items on the permanent counter.
My experience is that I got all of the lip colors, multisticks, and concealers in-store at Five Below. Then, I ordered most of everything else on Walgreens’ website. Once Amazon dropped, I got a few odds and ends like the higlight sticks and liquids. I had to place a wet n wild order for the contour sticks.
I also want to state that wet n wild has been pushing two coloricon Blush shades on their social media as “new” and even labeling them as new on their website. This is an absolute lie. Bed of Roses and Naked Brown were released in the wet n wild 2023 new products.

Cooling Hydra De-Puffer for Eye + Face
First in the wet n wild 2024 new products release is the Cooling Hydra De-Puffer for Eye + Face. It feels cold and wet when you press it on your skin, yet it does not make your skin very wet at all! I do not suffer from much under eye puff, but the cooling sensation is pleasant and I keep this nearby on my vanity. This is not like a primer, as there is not much product residue to pat into your skin. Layering is not a concern. I think it would work well if you needed to de-puff. It gives no brightening benefits.

Impossible Primer Stick
Second for wet n wild 2024 new products coming out is the Impossible Primer Stick. This is supposed to be the stick version of the squeeze tube, which I did not like. Much like the original, this product does not minimize or blur any of my pores. After I swipe the stick all over my face, it is nearly impossible to blend the primer out for an even application. It feels thick and just ‘sticks’ in place. It also makes foundations dry down very sticky. This is not visibly extend makeup wear time.

photofocus Care Color Corrector
Third are three shades of photofocus Care Color Corrector. You might recall that they discontinued their color correcting concelers. This formula is pretty much the same, but in a bigger tube. They feature a standard doe-foot applicator. I like that they are creamy, lightweight, and easy to blend. They will leave a color cast on the skin, so they are best worn under makeup. These layer well and are effective at color correction. You can use the white to lighten foundation and concealers. I only gravitate to the green.

barefocus Niacinamide Skin Tint in Fair
Fourth is the barefocus Niacinamide Skin Tint in Fair. The dropper struggles to suck up the product sometimes, but it is not the worst that I have tried. It has sheer to medium coverage and it builds to that level well – it is definitely more thin and sheer than the original barefocus Tinted Hydrator. The finish is satin and very skin-like and lightweight. It tends to make my t-zone more oily than other foundations, with exaggerated shine around the nose in particular. I can experiment with primer and powder, but I still get a lot of shine. Despite that fact, it holds up well all day on me like a true wet n wild foundation! This does dry down with some tackiness. If you wear it over the Impossible Primer Stick then the stickiness is unbearable. I believe if the formula had more hyaluronic acid instead of being primarily niacinamide that it might help with the shine.

photofocus Matte Finish Setting Mist
Fifth is the photofocus Matte Finish Setting Mist. Below you can see it compared against the original matte setting mist. This updated mist comes with a new bottle AND formula. It smells different, and the bottle has a super fine mist plus a ball for shaking. This effectively sets your makeup with a matte finish that is not dry. I would not go so far as to say that it extends wear time, but it is still a daily staple to keep around.

megaglo Lip & Cheek Color
Next for wet n wild 2024 new products is the megaglo Lip & Cheek Color. They first tried this formula in the wet n wild Alice In Wonderland collection, but it is definitely improved for the core line. These blend out easily with the right amount of buildable pigment. They dry with some slight tackiness. I prefer to wear them as blush, but they do make for a weightless full-coverage lip color that fades naturally over time.

photofocus Natural Finish Setting Mist
They also updated their natural setting mist to bring us the photofocus Natural Finish Setting Mist. You can see the comparison with the old below. Like I said for the matte, the formula is new with a different scent and the need to shake well. The updating packaging provides an even more fine mist. The finish is truly natural and again, I do not think it extends makeup wear time noticeably.

coloricon Multistick
wet n wild continues to push their multisticks on us, despite them being my least favorite product. We are getting several new shades of coloricon Multisticks, including shimmers. The formula is super creamy to glide on and blend with ease. The shimmers are so impactful. However, they crease like crazy on the eye even with primer, and they are not comfortable on the lips like a true lip color is. While they can be used anywhere, there is no where else that I would use them.
Curiously, Five Below was selling a green and a white on the 2024 product display, and I did not have the shade names in my collection, so I picked them up. I doubt they are new, because the packaging does not match the update for 2024. Below you can see those sticks and my comparison to old shades. The green is definitely a repeat, but the white is a hair different from the others over the years.

Continuing on with the wet n wild 2024 new products is a new shade of Breakup Proof Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Brown. You already know that I love this eyeliner because it stays in place all day, and the super fine tip is easy to control. This brown shade is perfect for a softer look. Beginners and experts will appreciate this liner pen. The line is fluid with no skipping or tugging.

So Defined Volumizing + Defining Mascara in Black
Next is the So Defined Volumizing + Defining Mascara in Black. I am usually not impressed with wet n wild mascara, but, I think this is the best one to date. I was not expecting the fat, curved wand! This mascara definitely gives length and volume, but with a hint of clumps. These are the types of clumps that help with the volume aspect, which I like. This does not flake or smudge, and it holds a curl. I love that it holds up all day but washes off when I am ready. The applicator is hard plastic and it honestly feels a bit scratchy but I put that aside. The formula is ready to go right away, and it grabs the innter lashes.

Here is two new shades of perfectpout Gel Lip Liner in updated packaging. What a curious release after discontinuing some shades over the years! This is my favorite lip liner formula because it glides on effortlessly without skipping or tugging. It gives you bright, solid, satin pigment and is comfortable on the lips.

We got a new line of lipsticks with the megalast Rich Satin Lip Color. These are true satins with full-coverage, creamy pigment. They feel comfortable on the lips and never get flakey. With a satin formula they do not dry down, so they will transfer gracefully. I noticed this is the same packaging as their matte and shiny lipsticks but they removed the plastic lips that duped Pat McGrath.

wet n wild could not stop with the lips and also gave us a new line of Soft Blur Matte Lipstick! These lipsticks are true matte, but super comfortable and creamy on the lips. They have medium coverage, and they will transfer. The swatches do seem blurred, but, on the lips you really do not get a special effect.

megaglow Glow In Love Radiance Liquid
Pressing on with the wet n wild 2024 new products is the megaglow Glow In Love Radiance Liquid. This liquid highlighter blends easily onto the skin for a dewy look that does not emphasize texture or remove coverage underneath. You can build it up and it looks fresh all day. It can also be mixed into foundation. It reminds me of the Physicians Formula version but it does not run out of the tube as fast. We need more shades!

After all of these years we finally got new shades of the megaglo Vitamin E Makeup Stick Highlight, and they cover a range of skintones. These sticks are super creamy to glide right onto the skin, and they blend well. Much like my comments on the liquid, they last all day without removing coverage of your makeup underneath or exaggerating texture. I cannot wear the dark shades, but they might pair well over the contours to make a glowing bronzer.

We also got two new shades of megaglo Vitamin E Makeup Stick Contour. I have tried the originals, and they all look orange on my skin! These new shades correct that issue, and I enjoy using them as bronzer or contour. Like I said for the highlighters, they glide over the skin and blend effortlessly. They last all day and mesh so well with the rest of your makeup.

Last for the wet n wild 2024 new products are two new coloricon 5 Pan Eye & Face Palettes. We last got some shades in the wet n wild 2021 new products. I am happy to report that these have the wet n wild formula that we know and love. The shades are super pigmented, nothing is chalky or patchy, and everything blends and builds nicely. The only weird thing is shade four in Gold Whip produces a lot of kick up in the pan. Otherwise, there is no fallout or dust flying around.

To recreate the eye look, start by applying the lighter brown shade into the crease and along the lower lash line. Next, apply the golden shimmer to the eyelid. Then, apply the dark brown shade to the outer corner and connect it to the lower lash line. Finish the look by highlighting the brow bone and inner corner with the light peach shimmer.
