Coffee and ice cream lovers rejoice! We have a new mini collection from wet n wild. Well, I call it mini because there are less products than usual. This set is called the wet n wild Coffee Cat and Ice Cream Bee collection. It features six lip glosses and two 16-shade eyeshadow palettes that are divided into two themes- coffee and ice cream. The super cute designs on the packaging make me wonder if Coffee Cat and Ice Cream Bee are real, licensed characters. After a quick Google search I have found no such characters, so it is safe to say that wet n wild is dreaming all of this up for our enjoyment. I am providing a full review of this collection, complete with swatches, star ratings, and two full-face of wet n wild makeup looks dedicated to the themes of this collection.

Buying Options
I am starting off the wet n wild Coffee Cat and Ice Cream Bee collection with ways that it can be purchased. You may be wondering why I have no photos of a cute box. There is no full collection box offered, meaning you have to purchase the products individually. This collection is available on wet n wild’s website. You can also purchase it online and in-stores from Ulta.
Coffee Cat
I am going to divide my review in half, first focusing on the Coffee Cat products.

Coffee Cat Lip Gloss
Here in the wet n wild Coffee Cat and Ice Cream Bee collection are the Coffee Cat Lip Glosses. Each time that I give a lip gloss review I always provide the disclaimer that I am personally not a lip gloss wearer, but I will not allow that to take precedence over my honest review. wet n wild’s formula always amazes me because it is not heavy, sticky, or thick. Rather, it almost feels like a lightweight lip oil on the lips. I am even more excited to see that these lip glosses feature wet n wild’s pigmented formula. I have no idea how they work their black magic to make this gloss look more like a high-shine liquid lipstick, but I am here for it. Also, these are coffee flavored! The flavor transports me straight to Starbucks and gives me the illusion that I am drinking a signature coffee treat.
- No Foam-O: This shade is a pale pink-brown.
- La Vida Mocha: This shade is a light brown.
- Deja Brew: This shade is a rich, red-brown.

Coffee Cat Shadow Palette
You may recall this eyeshadow palette formula first appears in the My Melody and Kuromi collection. The Coffee Cat Shadow Palette features a mixture of mattes and shimmers in 16 neutral shades. The quality of these eyeshadows is exactly what we are used to from wet n wild. I have no issues blending or applying anything, and there is little kick-up in the pan or fallout. The palette contains many options to use in the crease, as well as to set the eyelid and to highlight the brow bone and inner corner. The palette is coffee scented, but it is more on the chemical or artificial side. You can definitely get daily use out of this palette and create looks that range from natural to sultry.

Ice Cream Bee
Next up in the wet n wild Coffee Cat and Ice Cream Bee collection are all of the Ice Cream Bee products.

Ice Cream Bee Lip Gloss
Everything that I have to say about the Coffee Cat Lip Glosses and wet n wild’s formula in general apply to the Ice Cream Bee Lip Glosses. Rather than repeat that part of the review, I will talk about the flavor. These are, of course, ice cream flavored.
- Funday Sundae: This shade is a pink-purple.
- Saucy Strawberry: This shade is a very pink version of a strawberry.
- Sprinkled With Love: This shade is a creamy pink.

Ice Cream Bee Shadow Palette
The Ice Cream Bee Shadow Palette features 16 shimmers and mattes, but this palette is heavy on the shimmers and frozen treat shades. My review of this palette echos that of the Coffee Cat Shadow Palette in terms of wet n wild’s signature formula, the ease of application and use, and the availability of key shades that can be used to set the eyelid, on the crease, and to highlight in order to build a solid eyeshadow look. This palette is more on the fun and colorful side, but with your imagination, you can make it work any day. I am sure your eyes are being drawn to the unique, swirled shade in the top right corner called It’s Sherbert Day. Somehow, in the light, you can actually see all three colors present in the swatch(yellow, pink, and blue)! Black Cherriffic is an odd shade. In the pan it looks like purple shimmer over a black base, but it swatches more like a black eyeshadow that has some purple shimmer in it that even pulls a bit brown.

Bonus: Coffee Cat Headband
With the release of this collection wet n wild is doing a promotion where if you spend $30 you get a free Coffee Cat headband. I am including it here for fun. It is super soft and the kind of headband that you will want to wear to hold your hair back while applying makeup.
Wearing the Collection
I am ending the wet n wild Coffee Cat and Ice Cream Bee collection with two full-face of wet n wild looks that also use this entire collection. One look is for Coffee Cat, while the other is Ice Cream Bee.
Coffee Cat Look
For my Coffee Cat look I am going full out soft glam, and the final results are a favorite for sure! Here are the products that I am using:
- Coffee Cat Shadow Palette
- Coffee Cat Lip Gloss in Deja Brew
- photofocus Water Drop Primer Coconut in Coconut Dreamin’
- photofocus Eyeshadow Primer
- photofocus Color Corrector in Peach
- photofocus Foundation (matte) in Nude Ivory
- photofocus Concealer in Fair Beige
- photofocus Translucent Loose Setting Powder
- ultimatebrow Retractable Brow Pencil in Medium Brown
- ultimatebrow Mascara in Nothing But Bru-Nette

- perfectpout Gel Lip Liner in Bare to Comment
For the eyeshadow look I am doing a copper halo eye. I am starting with Cream & Sugar to set the eyelid. Next, I apply Don’t Give a Frappe to the crease, and then I bring it down to the lower lash line, but I leave some bare skin between this shade and the actual lash line to fill in later. To deepen the crease I go in with Pop Pop Cappuccino. Then I apply Cool Beans onto the eyelid, leaving a blank space in the middle. I fill that middle space with Hug in a Mug using a wet brush. Finally it is time to fill in the blank space on the lower lash line and go all the way across with Cool Beans and Pop Pop Cappuccino. The look is finished off with Rise & Grind being used to highlight the brow bone and inner corner.
Ice Cream Bee Look
I am thinking total ice cream shop with my Ice Cream Bee look. A lot of the details are going into the eyes, so the rest of the face is soft. Here are the products that I am using:
- Ice Cream Bee Shadow Palette
- Ice Cream Bee Lip Gloss in Sprinkled with Love
- photofocus Water Drop Primer Rose in What’s Up Rose-Bud?
- photofocus Eyeshadow Primer
- photofocus Color Corrector in Peach
- photofocus Dewy Foundation in Nude Ivory
- photofocus Concealer in Fair Beige
- photofocus Translucent Loose Setting Powder
- ultimatebrow Universal Stencil Kit
- coloricon Bronzer in Palm Beach Ready
- coloricon Blush in Pinch Me Pink
- megaglo Hello Halo Blushlighter in Flash Me (blush shade only layered over coloricon blush)
- megaglo Highlighting Powder in Bloom Time
- photofocus 3-in-1 Primer Water Rose in Rose Addiction
- wnw x Bretman Rock Bad Bitch Lift Mascara
- Breakup Proof Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Ultra Black
- megalast Liquid Catsuit Creme Eyeshadow in Putty In My Hands
The eyeshadow look is very involved and detailed, but it enables me to showcase as many colors as possible. It is easier to describe how to re-create this look in steps. **I do want to note that I am using shades on my eye that are marked as not being safe for use on the eye. Please follow all precautions on the packaging.**
- Set the eyelid with You Got Soft Served.
- Apply Anything is Popsicle in the crease, and then bring it down to the lower lash line, but leave some bare skin between this shade and the actual lash line to fill in later.
- Use Make it a Double lightly around the outside border of Anything is Popsicle.
- Pack Raisin the Bar onto the outer corner of the eyelid.
- Apply the cream eyeshadow onto the lid to basically make a cut crease, but do not overlap Raisin the Bar.
- Pack What’s the Scoop onto the cream eyeshadow right in the middle of the eyelid.
- Apply Mint to Be on the inner part of the eyelid.
- Take a moment to be sure the three shades that are now on the eyelid are blended together (Raisin the Bar, What’s the Scoop, and Mint to Be).
- Use an eyeliner brush to apply Raisin the Bar into the crease to create a defined line between the eyelid shades and Anything is Popsicle in the crease.
- Apply Raisin the Roof, What’s the Scoop, and Mint to be on the lower lash line.
- Finish the look with Malt on the inner corner and brow bone to highlight.

Conclusion
In summary of the wet n wild Coffee Cat and Ice Cream Bee collection, these products are a lot more wearable than what we are used to with wet n wild limited edition collections. Typically, I find myself saying that the colors are not something that most people will use on a daily basis, more so they are best suited for collectors or costume type makeup. With Coffee Cat and Ice Cream Bee you can surely use all of the items for regular wear and get your monies worth. All of these products are the quality that is expected from wet n wild, so I can give them my stamp of approval. But, I will say, if you have plenty of neutral/brown eyeshadow palettes in your collection you may want to skip on the Coffee Cat Eyeshadow palette if you feel it is not adding anything unique for you. Until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.

Thank you! It’s definitely my favorite look
The Coffee Cat part of this collection is definitely something I would really like! I love the look you’ve created. Also love the brighter palette look on you but I wouldn’t personally reach for these colors.
