It is time for March 2020 empties! This time around I have a total of 27 empties, which is pretty good for a 31 day month in my opinion. I am proud of myself for having quite a few full-size products here as I keep chugging along this year. Again, not much going on in terms of beauty empties because I am not using a lot working from home. I am sharing my full reviews and if I will repurchase or not. As you know, it takes a lot for me to repurchase, especially when I have a stockpile of items that I am working on emptying. Time to get started.

Body

I am starting the March 2020 empties with some body products.

  • Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Lavender Hand Sanitizer: I have never really been into hand sanitizing, so I forced myself to use this up. However, I do enjoy a spray-on sanitizer. It dries very fast, and you can spray it on anything. It does not have that typical hand sanitizer smell at all, just the lavender essential oil. This is not bad, but I have no plans to repurchase as of now.
  • Colgate Optic White Renewal: When it comes to whitening toothpaste, I never see results. I view it like weight loss. You cannot expect to exercise but eat whatever you want and loose weight. I still drink coffee and tea, so I am not a good tester of these toothpastes. Naturally, I did not see much happen. I do note that it foams up a lot, and as the foam escapes your lips and gets on your skin, it burns a bit. I will not repurchase.
  • Curel Dry Skin Therapy Hydra Silk Moisturizer: This lotion does exactly what it says. It has no fragrance or dyes, is lightweight, and absorbs quickly with no residue. Am I wowed to the point of a repurchase? No, but I can recommend it.

Beauty, Nails, and Fragrance

Next are a combination of beauty, nail, and fragrance March 2020 empties.

  • elf Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths: I have rephrased these many times, and I probably will again in the future. What can I say, they are makeup remover wipes and they work.
  • Versace Bright Crystal: The notes of this perfume include yuzu, iced accord, and pomegranate. There is nothing wrong with it. It is not bad, just not my thing. No reason to repurchase.
  • Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray: This is my all-time favorite setting spray. It works, and I am stocked up on it. I will always repurchase it because it does make your makeup last longer.
  • Formula X Top Coat: This top coat is discontinued, which is really a shame! It meets all my qualifications of a good top coat because it dries fast, is super shiny, and the formula can correct and smooth out imperfections in your nail polish. Now, I am used to my top coats getting super thick as I work through the bottle, but this particular formula gets thick in a hurry. I do have one more bottle on hand.

Haircare

Here are a bunch of haircare products from my March 2020 empties.

  • Loreal Ever Pure Blonde Conditioner: I recently found out that I need to be using blue shampoo and conditioners instead of purple, because my natural base is brunette. With that being said, I do not get proper results from this conditioner. But, it does make my hair feel nice. If you are a natural blonde, I do recommend that you try this line. I will not repurchase, and I am sure the shampoo will make it into my April empties.
  • Herbal Essences Bio Renew White Grapefruit & Mosa Mint Dry Shampoo: This dry shampoo is scented, but it is not too strong, nor does it linger. It does leave some white residue in my hair, but it is not horrible. Overall, it does what it should. I have no plans to repurchase. I will move onto the next dry shampoo.
  • Herbal Essences Bio Renew Birch Bark Extract Shampoo: I usually say that a one-time use packet does not say much about a product, which is true. But, I can say that this shampoo and conditioner pair leaves my hair feeling really nice. Honestly, I would like to try it again. As for now, I have plenty of shampoos and conditioners to use up, so I cannot justify a repurchase.
  • Herbal Essences Bio Renew Birch Bark Extract Conditioner: My thoughts are the same as those on the shampoo.
  • Hask Keratin Protein Smoothing Deep Conditioner: I have reviewed these various Hask deep conditioners so many times. I cannot say that I see specific results from these, but they always leave my hair feeling soft and deeply conditioned. While I never plan to repurchase, when these pop up again in some gift set, I will use them.
  • Hask Argan Oil Repairing Deep Conditioner: My thoughts are the same as those on the above deep conditioner.
  • Batiste Original Dry Shampoo: The sprayer on Batiste dry shampoos are always powerful and loud. Again, I see some white residue in my hair, but it is not awful. This dry shampoo works, too. I probably will not repurchase because I know I can buy cheaper dry shampoos.
  • Not Your Mother’s All Eyes On Me 10-in-1 Hair Perfector: This product is a thick, white cream, which makes a spray bottle a horrible packaging choice. It basically just spits product randomly onto the hair, which makes it nearly impossible to get an even distribution. I use this product by removing the spray top and pouring the product right into my hands. My hands evenly distribute the product much better. I cannot prove that it does all 10 things that it claims. Ultimately, it does leave my hair feeling like I have used a leave-in conditioner. I apply this product to damp hair. I have no plans to repurchase at this time.

Skincare

I am ending my March 2020 empties with skincare.

  • The Creme Shop Nice Last Christmas Youth Promoting Essence Masks: I find that 99% of the time I do not see physical results from a paper face mask. I cannot prove that these masks meet their claims. They leave my skin feeling hydrated and fresh. These were only available at Christmas, so they cannot be repurchased.
  • Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream: Honestly, this stuff is pretty good. It seems like it does help control oil production in my t-zone. The formula is not quite a gel, but it is definitely not water. It applies really wet on the skin, but then it dries and absorbs in faster than expected. I recommend it, but as for now I need to work on other moisturizers to use them up.
  • My Beauty Spot Charcoal Infused Nose Strips: I have tried many different pore strips, and I never see more than a few flecks on them. I refuse to believe that all pore strips are junk, rather, I clean my face with so many products that I do not have clogged pores. So, I am not mad at these. But I will say these leave a lot of black residue on the skin, which I have not encountered with other pore strips. I have to scrub it off my face with micellar water. For that reason, I really do not like these, and I will not repurchase.
  • elf Superclarify: This facial cleanser does exactly what it needs to do, and it is perfectly fine. For my type of skin, I do need something stronger. I need something that targets acne and breakouts. If you have normal skin, then I think this is fine for you. I will not repurchase.
  • Spascriptions Purifying Metallic Wash-off Mask: Do these cheap face masks actually do anything? Not really. I will not repurchase.
  • Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Moisturizer: I always complain about the scent of Fresh products. While this moisturizer does have that scent, it is not as strong as what I am used to. I think this is perfectly good moisturizer, and I have no complaints. I have no plans to repurchase at this time.
  • Sunday Riley Auto Correct: This product does effectively, yet temporarily, eliminate under eye darkness by providing an illuminated look. It does this because the product, when dispensed on your finger, looks just like a pearl. You can see that pearly glow right in the formula. The effects of this cream should last three to four hours. I find if I apply other products over top, like a moisturizer, but it sort of dilutes the effects. If these findings sound like something you are looking for, then I can recommend it. I am not really into eye creams yet, so I will pass.
  • Sunday Riley Good Genes: This is just a quick sample, but I already know that I love this product, and I am fully stocked. I believe that it assists with my acne.
  • No 7 Lift & Luminate Triple Action Day Cream: This is not my first time testing a No 7 day cream, but I like this formula better, especially because it is not greasy. While I carry suspicion that it may break me out, at least it provides a daytime sunscreen. I have no plans to repurchase, as it is not a life changer.
  • No 7 Lift and Luminate Triple Action Night Cream: I do not see any results from this night cream. As a positive, I can say that it absorbs into the skin fairly easily.
  • Global Beauty Care Rose Gel Face Mask: Again, these cheap Dollar Tree masks do not really show results. They are simply fun to test. I will not repurchase.
  • Burt’s Bees Moisturizing Lip Mask: This is a paper lip mask that is basically an oil. It has not changed my life, but it does make my lips feel oiled up after use. I have no plans to repurchase it but if it pops up in a gift set in the future, I will use it.

This year I am continuing to press on with products that take a while longer to use up. So, here’s to April and making further progress. Until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.

    1. There you go! I feel the same way. Who cares if you use a product that gives you an awful hair day or whatever, no one will know but you! This is the best time to try stuff out.

    1. The moisturizer is just fine! I have nothing bad to say. I don’t feel compelled to go out and buy a full-size. As you can imagine, I have so many moisturizers to test lol, but hey you might like it.
