You might be surprised to see how many of these trends you already own. Without further delay, time to begin.

1) Plaid Pants

The first style in this list of winter 2020 fashion trends is plaid pants. You know that I love my plaid, and shirts are typically trending in this category. Pants are definitely a breath of fresh air. Try switching out your usual jeans for a pair of plaid pants. They even look great with longer, tunic-style shirts and sweaters.

2) Rhinestone Accents

Second are rhinestone accents. Rhinestones are not just for jewelry anymore- they can be found on anything! From pants, shoes, headbands, dresses, and so on, finding ways to rock your rhinestones has never been easier. Best of all, rhinestones are perfect to wear for the holidays or any special occasions you have this season.

3) Quilted Handbags

Third are quilted handbags. They always add a touch of class and elegance to your look. Additionally, they look nice with your holiday dresses.

4) Snake Print Shoes

Fourth are snake print shoes. In the fall we saw snake print on everything, from shirts, pants, handbags, and more. Snake print is still lingering, but primarily on shoes. These shoes can add a statement pop to an otherwise boring look.

5) Chevron Sweaters

Fifth in this list of winter 2020 fashion trends are chevron sweaters. It is no surprise that sweaters are making it into winter trends. As you cozy up this season, consider a sweater or two with a triangular pattern. They definitely add color and interest to your style.

6) Hair Pins/clips with Words

Next up are hair pins and clips with words and designs. You may remember for fall 2019 that hair accessories feature lots of bling, pearls, and more. Those are definitely still safe to wear, but you should also add some words into the mix. You will notice that the rhinestones are back with these hair pins as well.

7) Boots with Heels

Continuing on with the trends are boots with heels. We are not seeing many boots and booties with a flat bottom this season. If you are not a fan of heels you can still get in on this trend by wearing a boot with a super low to the ground heel. This way you still get the look, but it feels like you are wearing flats!

8) Striped or Color-Block Sweaters

Pressing on are striped or color-block sweaters, which are a definite classic! Do not let these come across as boring or typical. Besides the fact that they add color to your look, experiment with tucking them in or wearing them out, and even pair them with a cute belt.

9) Dainty Necklaces

Next are dainty necklaces. There are no statement necklaces in sight this season. A simple, small necklace around your neck is all you need to pack a punch and make your own statement.

10) Colors – Warm Earthy Tones

The last winter 2020 fashion trends are warm, earthy tones. Below I have a sample color palette that provides examples of some great tones to wear this season. I am also picking out some pieces from my favorite retailers that come in the appropriate hues. Warm, earthy tones are pretty well trending every fall and winter, so you most likely already have some pieces in your wardrobe.

In summary of these Winter 2020 fashion trends, these do not excite me all that much. Many of these trends are not new. On one hand, that most likely means that you can save some cash while shopping and whip out some pieces that you already have. For me, I like more pizazz in my wardrobe. I am most looking forward to plaid pants and snake print booties. How do you feel about this list of trends? Do you typically follow trends or go down your own path? Please let me know in the comments. Until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.
