I could not believe my eyes during a recent trip to TJMaxx! It is officially a TJMaxx beauty haul because I could not help myself with the high-end palettes and quality brushes! Making selections out of all of the palettes offered is a tough process, but I did a good job. Additionally, you cannot beat the quality of Real Techniques brushes, and you can always trust them to work. For this reason I made sure to grab everything that is new to me. I have reviews and swatches of the haul. You are sure to add items to your beauty wishlist after reading this post. Let’s get started!
Brushes
Real Techniques Multi Tech collection
I am starting this TJMaxx beauty haul with a brush and sponge set. The set contains three fluffy brushes, a sponge, and a sponge drying stand. Firstly, the Point L brush is the perfect size for bronzer, blush, or contouring. Secondly, the point XL or even XXL brushes can be used to set your makeup. Finally, the mini round sponge has a fine point that will make foundation application a breeze. The material of the sponges feels like a Miracle Complexion Sponge. Additionally, the drying cube looks stylish on your vanity.

Real Techniques Mini Brush Trio
Next I have a set of mini Real Techniques brushes that are great for on the go. I have to laugh at the foundation brush because of it’s size. Applying foundation with it will take ages. The mini face brush can definitely apply blush, bronzer, or contour, and maybe even set the face if you are in a pinch. The mini shading brush can do eyelid application. But, I am sure you can get creative and use it in your crease or outer-v.

Real Techniques Mini Medium Sculpting brush
In sticking with the “mini” theme I have a sculpting brush that is great for contouring or blush.
Real Techniques Mini Contour brush
The final mini brush is a contour brush. I would not limit it to just contouring.
Real Techniques Brush Crush Volume 1
Feast your eyes on this beyond extravagant brush set! The bristles are heavenly soft and the color scheme reminds me of cotton candy. Do not be concerned about the glitter handles. They have a glossy clear coat that will keep the glitter on permanently. Without a doubt these brushes are of high quality.
Brush Crush 300 Powder
Firstly, 300 powder is good for setting your foundation.
Brush Crush 301 Foundation
Secondly, 301 Foundation is intended to apply cream and liquid foundation.
Brush Crush 302 Blush
Thirdly, 302 Blush works well for blush or anything else you can dream up. If you already have the Bold Metals 300 Blush brush, this one is the same. That brush is featured in my makeup brush collection.
Brush Crush 303 Contour
Fourthly, the flat, rectangular shape of the 303 Contour brush works well for contouring.
Brush Crush 304 Fan
Fifth, you can highlight the high points of your face with the 304 fan.
Brush Crush 305 Shadow
Sixth, the 305 shadow brush works well for eyelid application.
Brush Crush 306 Kabuki
Finally, the 306 kabuki brush can set your face.
Brush Crush Diamond Sponge
The last item in the set is a blending sponge. It is exactly the same as the Bold Metals Miracle Diamond sponge, just colored differently. The material is the same as the Miracle Complexion sponge.
Eyeshadow Palettes
Kat von D Shade and Light Glimmer Eye palette
Proceeding on with the TJMaxx beauty haul we have the high-end eyeshadow palettes! I never knew that the original Shade and Light Eye palette had a sparkly twin sister! Below I put both the original and shimmer versions side by side. As you can see, both palettes are exactly the same. Kat von D perfectly translated the matte shades into shimmer shades. Both palettes are buttery smooth and highly pigmented. These are total scores!

Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons palette
If you are wondering if this palette smells like chocolate, I can confirm your suspicions. Besides it’s delicious aroma, it features a range of nude eyeshadows, with a few healthy pops of color. Whether you are going for a subtle or a fun and flirty look, you can accomplish it with this palette. Too Faced’s formula is always soft and smooth with plenty of pigment.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture palette
The last eyeshadow palette in my TJMaxx beauty haul may just be the internet’s most controversial palette ever. Subculture got a bad rap by the beauty community, citing the shadows do not blend well on the eye and get “muddy.” Additionally, the shadows are so powdery you can hit pan quickly and make a mess of the palette. I vowed not to spend the big bucks on this palette. Since it is now half the price, I figured what the heck! The pigmentation of the swatches is insane, and I live for the color range. I have no problem with application. For one thing, I am no makeup artist. I do not apply six shades on my eye and get all fancy. It works for my life.
Profusion
Luminizer I
I am ending this TJMaxx beauty haul with some fun finds by Profusion for the face. Luminizer I is a five-shade highlighter palette. The highlights swatch fine and look good on the face.
Blush & Glow III
The final product in this TJMaxx beauty haul is a blush and highlighter palette. I consider the first two shades to be blush, and the rest highlighter. You can layer the blush and highlighter for a glowing look. I am pleased with the swatches.
In conclusion, the finds in my TJMaxx beauty haul are insane! To think about how much money I saved blows my mind. Each and every product mentioned here, even the non-high end items, are of such good quality. I know that everything will work out for me, and my makeup collection warmly welcomes the group. What do you think about my haul? Do you plan on seeking out these products? Let me know in the comments. Until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.
