It is time for the Walmart Beauty Box winter 2017 review! Does it not feel like yesterday when we talked about the fall box? I always post my unboxings in the same week that the boxes arrive so that the content is relevant to you, and so that you can decide if you want to subscribe to the box. The packaging of the Winter box is pretty. I have a good feeling about the products inside this time around.
I love that we now have the option to gift this box to a friend! The cute packaging continues as we get further into the box.
Garnier Whole Blends Refreshing Shampoo and Conditioner in Green Apple & Green Tea
The first items in my Walmart Beauty Box winter 2017 review are Garnier’s Whole Blends Refreshing Shampoo and Conditioner in Green Apple and Green Tea. The duo is supposed to energize hair while boosting shine.
Dove Deep Moisture Nourishing Body Wash
Second is Dove’s Deep Moisture Nourishing Body Wash. Walmart is really digging Dove body washes right now, and I am ok with them. I do find that the packaging makes it hard to get the last bit of product out. This body wash is supposed to soften your skin. It is a white cream with a powder fresh scent with a hint of something sweet.
Loreal Smooth Intense Ultimate Straight Straightening Shampoo, Pre-conditioner, and Conditioner
Third is a three-part foil packet sample. I have Loreal’s Smooth Intense Ultimate Straight Straightening Shampoo, Pre-Conditioner, and Conditioner. These products are designed for people who frequently straighten their hair, or have rebellious hair. All of the items are supposed to relax the hair strands to make hair straight. The directions for use are standard for any shampoo and conditioner, with some time limits. The shampoo and conditioner are to be left on the hair for one to three minutes, and the pre-conditioner for one minute. I have never heard of a pre-conditioner before!
Covergirl Lashblast Volume in Black
Fourth is Covergirl’s Lashblast Volume mascara in black, and it is full-size! This mascara claims to provide 10x the volume for bold lashes. The applicator is rather large and silicone-like, but is flexible, while the wand itself is not.
Ponds Rejuveness Anti-Wrinkle Cream
Fifth is the Rejuveness Anti-Wrinkle Cream from Ponds. It is simply a facial cream that is supposed to reduce fine lines and wrinkles in two weeks. It is a white cream with a powder fresh scent. Since I do not yet have wrinkles, I will pass this cream off.
Curel Hydra Therapy Wet Skin Moisturizer
The final item in my Walmart Beauty Box winter 2017 review is Curel’s Hydra Therapy Wet Skin Moisturizer. You apply it onto your wet skin right out of the shower. It claims to absorb instantly without that most dreaded greasy feeling. Then you can towel dry without any problems. It is water activated to repair skin’s moisture barrier, thus healing dryness. It is a white, unscented cream.
In summary of this Walmart Beauty Box winter 2017 review, this is a nice balance of hair, skin, and makeup products for a change. The $5 price tag is a very good deal relative to going out and buying these samples. As far as the “winter” theme, some of the products are obvious matches, while others are not. Are you a Walmart Beauty Box subscriber? What do you think of the products this season? Let me know in the comments. Until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.
