Review
I have so many good things to say here that you will think I am sponsored, but I am not! I really love this product collection and I have to gush about it.
For starters, this formula is incredibly creamy. It glides right over the skin without skipping, tugging, or pulling. The pigmentation is so strong that you hardly need to build up the color. You can easily achieve an eye look that is more vibrant than traditional eye color with these sticks.
I also love how you get enough time to work with these sticks before they set. You do not have to rush or feel pressured! You can blend these out with a brush or your fingers. Once these set down, they will not fade, crease, smudge, or move AT ALL for your entire day.
Even after eight plus hours of wear, these look exactly how they did at time of application! How many times can you say that about eyeshadow, or any makeup product?
These are incredibly handy for when you are short on time. Seriously, you can pop one shade on the eyelid and be out the door. You can totally use multiple sticks in one look to do something like you would with an eyeshadow palette. You can even pair the sticks with regular eyeshadow.
Additionally, these make for great eyeliners. The sky is the limit when it comes to your creativity! Honestly, these are amazing and such a breakthrough in the makeup world. elf needs to release many more shades.
Eye Looks
Next, I have two looks that will inspire you on how to use the sticks! These are my favorite ways to wear them.
Look 1: Sticks Only (Almost)
With this first look, I am showing my super quick, get out the door way to wear a stick. You can take any color that you want (here I am using Metallic Mocha), and apply it to the eyelid. Then, blend it up and into the crease with a blending eye brush. For extra oomph, you can apply the same stick along the lower lash line, and give that a nice blend. Here I also applied some powder bronzer into the crease to add definition. Then, I apply Perfect Pearl to the brow bone and inner corner to highlight. I finish the look by doing some quick eyeliner.
Look 2: Sticks Paired With Eyeshadow
This second look shows you how to incorporate a stick into a powder eyeshadow look. Here I am doing a classic eye look that is great with a red lip and for a special occasion. I am using a nude eyeshadow palette for the entire eye, but using the Champagne Crystal stick on the eyelid for a pop of metallic color that wears all day.
