The amount of leopard in my closet may just be nauseating, but it is my favorite print. Can you relate? I could go on all day serving you leopard outfits, but to provide more focus, this post centers around how to style a leopard kimono. I have three outfits to inspire you, plus options to shop now to steal my style. Leopard kimonos are ultra versatile. You can wear them over dresses, rompers, jeans, and really anything to get an instant leveled-up look. As evidenced here, leopard, black, and gold make a trio that simply cannot be beat, which is a major trend in this look book.
Look #1: Is it a romper or a dress?
The first outfit on how to style a leopard kimono is a perfect example of how to dress one up! I actually wore this outfit for a wedding. The polyester romper almost looks like a short dress, and the metal accent on the top is a special added touch. I am avoiding a necklace due to that feature, and instead opting for earrings. The ear cuff matches the metal accent on the romper so well. I especially like how the kimono is of similar length to the romper to provide a put-together look. As I always say, strappy shoes provide interest to every outfit. The handbag with gold hardware completes the black and gold theme.

Look #2: Wildly fashion blogger approved
Second is another dressy look, but it is more toned down, and gives me major fashion blogger vibes. This long kimono is perfect for fall and winter. As with all of the kimonos in this post, you can totally wear it with jeans, but a basic black dress is calling to me. The bling factor is brought back with the necklace that also fills the empty space on the chest. You can really switch up the shoes with this outfit. I had a hard time settling for these wedges because I also wanted to do knee high boots or even strappy heels. Anything goes! The handbag with the unusual shape, faux croc details, and blinged out clasp brings this outfit over the top.

Look #3: The casual animal lover
The final outfit on how to style a plaid kimono is a casual jeans look. Get ready to break out your favorite, staple black tee and layer it under your kimono. The circle buckle belt adds extra detail. I love how the boots, handbag, and belt tie in faux leather accents. There is no particular reason for the anchor necklace, as you can wear anything that adds in missing bling.
