Now that we are in the month of love, it is time for my Play! by Sephora February 2019 review. The theme of the box is Lovestruck Beauty. It promises to to show your makeup and skincare routine some love with bold makeup choices and revitalizing skin options. While using the products contained inside, you should find a hint of relaxation from your typical routine, providing you time to focus on yourself. This all sounds great, and I know that everyone can benefit from these ideas in one way or another. I say let’s cut into the seal, open the box, and find out what is going on.

Fresh Rose Face Mask

The first item in my Play! by Sephora February 2019 review is the Rose Face Mask by Fresh. This was a Sephora birthday gift for me a few years ago, and I know that I hate the overbearing rose scent of this mask. It claims to tone, hydrate, to restore radiance, and add suppleness. You are to apply a quarter-size amount to clean skin and leave it on for five to 10 minutes, and then rinse. It is safe for daily use and it contains real rose petals.

Milk Makeup Blur Stick

Second, I have the Blur Stick by Milk Makeup. The invisible stick claims that it primes, blurs, and mattifies. It should also reduce the appearance of pores and fine lines while helping your makeup to last longer. You are to swipe the stick all over our face and then blend it out with your fingers. It can be used alone or under makeup.

Stella by Stella McCartney

Third is the bonus fragrance sample from Stella McCartney, appropriately named Stella. It is a feminine scent that is based on English Rose. The notes include rose, peony, mandarin, and amber.

Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Rhubarb

Fourth in my Play! by Sephora February 2019 review is a Bite Beauty lipstick in the shade Rhubarb. I once redeemed my Sephora Beauty Insider points on this shade, but I gave it away as it was collecting dust. Rhubarb is a beautiful, plum-rose color. The pigmentation is strong in one swipe, and the formula glides on and leaves a shiny finish. It has a sweet, minty scent.

Wander Beauty Baggage Claim Gold Eye Masks

Fifth I have a set of Gold Eye Masks from Wander Beauty. These under eye masks claim to brighten, to hydrate, and to reduce the look of fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots. You are to apply them to clean, dry under eyes and allow them to sit for 10 to 15 minutes. After removal you are to pat the remaining serum into the skin.

Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet

The final item in my Play! by Sephora February 2019 review is Caudalie’s Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet. This moisturizer is a repeat from the May 2018 box. It claims to hydrate and soothe the skin while featuring a lightweight, white cream. You are to apply a dime-sized amount to your face and neck both in the morning and night. It can be applied alone and under foundation. It has a natural, plant-like scent.

In summary of my Play! by Sephora February 2019 review, three of the items, or half of the box, is repeats for me. I do recognize that these products may not be repeats for you. Overall, the products received do stand up to the Lovestruck Beauty theme by including “bold” makeup and self-care items. I am relieved that I can easily use up all of the products in this unboxing, except for the lipstick. Will you be trying any of these products? Please let me know in the comments and until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.
