After yet another delay, it is finally time for my Walmart Beauty Box Winter 2019 review. The theme of this box is Hydration Heroes, which is appropriate for the winter. With this being said, the products contained inside should soften and moisturize. I do know that we get a makeup bag in this box. Other than that, I am not sure what to expect. Let’s remove the cellophane and jump in.

Before getting to the samples from this Walmart Beauty Box Winter 2019 review, I want to talk about the included makeup bag. This is the first time that Walmart has included a bag. It features a tassel zipper pull, water droplets on the front for the Hydration Heroes theme, and the Walmart logo on the back.

SooAE Unicorn Glow Hologram Mask

First in this Walmart Beauty Box Winter 2019 review is a charcoal sheet mask from SooAE. The charcoal is on the side that touches your face, and the hologram is on the opposite side. It claims to detox, purify, brighten, and nourish. You are to apply it to clean skin and after any serum. Leave the mask on for 15 to 20 minutes. After removal do not rinse your face, rather, pat the excess liquid into the skin.

Olay Daily Facials Daily Hydrating Clean

Second I have one cloth from the Olay Daily Facials line. I like the idea of a wipe that you wet yourself rather than worrying about your wipes drying out. This wipe claims to act as a makeup remover, scrub, toner, mask, and conditioner. It should also remove dirt, oil, and mascara. These claims are definitely gimmicky, as there is no way that a wipe can be all of those things. The directions state to wet the cloth and massage it until a later forms. After you wipe your face down you are to rinse the cloth and use it as a final rinse for your face. I plan on using mine as a makeup remover to test as many of the claims as possible.

Curel Hydratherapy Wet Skin Moisturizer

Third I have Curel’s Wet Skin Moisturizer, a repeat from the Winter 2017 box. It claims to work deep into skin’s surface to repair its moisture barrier, while immediately absorbing with no greasy feeling. You are to apply it to your wet skin directly out of the shower. After, towel dry as normal and do not rinse. The formula is a white cream with no scent. I remember liking this product.

Garnier Whole Blends Oat Delicacy Shampoo & Conditioner

Fourth I have a shampoo and conditioner duo from Garnier Whole Blends. This one-time-use foil packet sample is a repeat from the Spring 2018 box. One-time-use products are difficult to review, but I know that this pair smells delicious enough to eat with the oat milk and rice cream. These products claim to soothe, protect, and add weightless hydration for hair that is soft to the touch. The directions are standard.

Pantene Pro V Intense Rescue Shots

The final product in my Walmart Beauty Box Winter 2019 review is Pantene’s Rescue Shots. It claims to turn dry, brittle hair into soft and shiny hair and to prevent split ends. The formula is designed for color treated and/or heat styled hair. It targets extremely damaged areas. The directions on the package differ from those on the included card. The package says to apply the product after shampoo and conditioner from mid-length to ends, then rinse. I like the directions on the card better which state to use this product once per week in place of your regular conditioner. The product is translucent white with a sweet scent.

In summary of this Walmart Beauty Box Winter 2019 review, I do think that the products match the theme. With three foil packets and two repeat products, this subscription box is not what it used to be. Are you a subscriber to this box? Will you be trying any of these products? Let me know in the comments, and until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.
