One of the biggest shopping days of the year is the day after Christmas. As a result I am pleased to present my after Christmas 2018 haul. It features a variety of products at slashed prices. During the course of this haul I will be sharing my reviews, first impressions, and more on my finds. Above all I hope that you will discover some new products to try, or to at least go out hunting for. Let’s get into the haul.
Makeup
e.l.f. 48 color eyeshadow and brush set
The first set in my after Christmas 2018 haul is by e.l.f. Disturbingly, the palette will not stay shut on its own. Because of this, I must use a rubber band to keep it closed. Typically I end up passing on these types of palettes to friends and family because I find them to be mediocre in comparison to other e.l.f. products. I bought it because it was half off and worth a shot. The swatches are fairly lackluster. I already have the eyeshadow brush, but not the blending brush. The color variation in the palette is poor.

Profusion 9 shade eyeshadow palettes
Next, in my after Christmas 2018 haul I have a few nine piece palettes from Profusion. As I have mentioned in the past, their products can be hit or miss. While these eyeshadows look impressive in the pan, the swatches were disappointing. However, swatches do not always tell the full story. Ultimately they need to be applied to the eyes with a brush to make a solid determination. I am into the shade range in each palette, and check out that purple in the Bold palette! I will cross my fingers that these palettes end up working.

Profusion Ultra Cool eyeshadow palette
In my what I got for Christmas 2018 post I showed off the Ultra Warm palette, and I was impressed with the quality and shade range. The Ultra Cool palette lives up to the same expectations. The large 35 pan collection truly provides me with makeup artist vibes. Many different eyeshadow looks can be created from this palette, and I am pleased with the swatches.
Soap and Glory Triple Glammy set
Lid Stuff eyeshadow palette
The Lid Stuff palette contains the shades Fairy Light, Copper, Damsel, Toasty, Good as Gold, and How Nude. However, the palette does not have labels to match the shade names to the eyeshadow. This palette is best used for light makeup looks due to the shade range and gentle pigmentation.
Thick & Fast High Definition Collagen Coat Coat Mascara in Film Noir Black
This mascara did not come with any claims. From the name I will assume that it should provide voluminous lashes. The wand appears to be basic.
Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss in Bare Enough
While I am not a fan of lip gloss, this nude shade is pretty for daily wear.
Milani Pure Passion eyeshadow palette
These Milani palettes are ultra gorgeous! The shade range collection in each palette is to die for. In other words, I know that I can create many looks with these palettes. They swatch pretty good. Each palette came with Milani’s eyeshadow primer, which I have never tried before. The primer is a peachy nude shade, much like the others that I use on the daily.

I randomly found two mini Real Techniques brushes during my shopping trip at half the price, so why not try them? The handles are super cute!

Haircare
Hask 5 Deep Conditioners set
We are now transitioning this after Christmas 2018 haul into some haircare. I have received some Hask deep conditioners in past Walmart boxes, so I am excited to try this set out. I will provide the claims on each mask. All of the directions state to leave the conditioner on for 10 minutes, then rinse.
Keratin Protein Deep Conditioner
Firstly, this conditioner claims to soften and prevent breakage. In the same vein, it is designed for weak and damaged hair.
Monoi Coconut Oil Deep Conditioner
Secondly, this conditioner claims to moisturize, revitalize, and nourish.
Argan Oil Deep Conditioner
Thirdly, this conditioner claims to strengthen, restore, smooth dry and damaged hair, and repair split ends.
Charcoal Deep Conditoner
Fourthly, this conditioner claims to cleanse, clarify, nourish, soften, and absorb impurities.
Orchid & White Truffle Deep Conditioner
Finally, this conditioner claims to rehydrate and shine dry, damaged hair.
Garnier Fructis 1 Minute Hair Mask set
This five-piece set of 1 minute hair masks was such a steal at half off because each tub is huge! I have already tried the coconut mask from a Walmart box. These conditioners smell delicious and have a creamy, lotion-like formula. They can be used three ways: as a mask, as a conditioner, or as a leave in. However, the directions are not as unique. When using them as a conditioner or a mask, the directions state to apply them after shampoo and rinse. As you can see, that is no different from any other conditioner. Of course, to use as a leave in you just apply a little bit and do not wash it out. The tubs do not have any claims, but the names describe their purpose.

Body & Earth Diy Roll-on Scent Kit
The oddball or hybrid for this after Christmas 2018 haul is this make your own rollerball fragrance kit. It is probably designed for kids, but the price is right! The kit includes everything you need- three glass bottles, rollerballs to insert, perfume base, mixing sticks, a measuring cup, and three essential oils. Each bottle can be labeled for your custom scent. I plan on making mixed scents with this kit.
Skin care
My Beauty Spot Charcoal Infused Facial Mask Collection
Continuing with my after Christmas 2018 haul I have a bunch of awesome masks from My Beauty Spot. By default I believe that 2019 is going to be a good skincare year for me. For my birthday I did get another set of My Beauty Spot sheet masks to add onto this set. I am going to provide the claims for each of these sheet masks. All of them contain charcoal, which works well to draw out dirt and impurities. The directions for each say to leave on for 10 to 15 minutes, then massage the excess serum into the skin.
Retinol
Firstly, the ingredient retinol increases your skin’s collagen production and fades dark spots.
Vitamin C
Secondly, the ingredient vitamin C reduces inflammation, discoloration, and evens the skintone.
Argan Oil
Thirdly, the ingredient argan oil provides a natural boost to the skin.
Omega 3, 6, 9
Fourthly, the ingredients of omega 3, 6, and 9 build your skin’s natural moisture barrier.
Avocado Oil
Fifthly, the ingredient avocado oil soothes and nourishes the skin.
Marine Algae
Lastly, the ingredient marine algae hydrates and conditions the skin.
Shea Moisture Multi-Masking Kit
The last set of face masks in my after Christmas 2018 haul are mud masks by Shea Moisture. Compared to other foil packet masks, these packets feel like they contain just the right amount of product. Each mask says to wash it off after 10 to 20 minutes. In addition I will provide the claims for each.
African Black Soap Clarifying Mud Masks
Firstly, this mud mask claims to draw out dirt and impurities while absorbing excess oil.
Raw Shea Butter Hydrating Mud Mask
Secondly, this mud mask claims to purify, soften, hydrate, and restore.
Coconut & Hibiscus Radiance Mud Mask
Thirdly, this mud mask claims to purify, absorb impurities, and brighten.
Kukui Nut & Grapeseed Oils Youth Infusing Mud Mask
Lastly, this mud mask claims to protect your skin from free radicals, to minimize signs of damage, to prevent aging, and to deeply moisturize.
Fashion
Finally, the last category in my after Christmas 2018 haul is fashion. While I did not find a lot on this trip, I am pleased with my discoveries.
Heart Soul striped high-low shirt
I am into the details of this striped shirt. It has sleeves that are cut open and tied at the bottom, it is tie front, and is extremely high-low. For example, a fun way to style this shirt would be over leather pants or leggings.
No Boundaries striped keyhole necklace shirt
The last item in my after Christmas 2018 haul is an eye-catching striped shirt. It features a choker neck, flattering vertical stripes, and a gold tone y-necklace. Above all in terms of how to style it, I can foresee wearing it with some striped dress pants.
In summary, my after Christmas 2018 haul is fair in size and contains a variety of products. I will be stepping into the new year with gorgeous skin and hair for sure because of my great haircare and skincare finds.
