It is time to rip into the Walmart Beauty Box Summer 2024 with a review and unboxing. This time around the release date is June 9, 2024. The shipping always occurs in batches. Mine is perfectly on time for the season!

Sally Hansen Salon Effects Perfect Manicure in Outside The Line

First in this subscription is a false nails set. I must say, the design is rather ugly. The oval nails are a manageable shape and length. You get a lot of bang for your buck in this kit! It comes with 24 nails, a file, prep pad, cuticle stick, 24 adhesive tabs, and glue.

Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam in Dark

I have never used self tanner and it is not my thing. I find it distasteful to send a dark shade out as a sample as many may be new to the brand or the concept. This has a tropical, beachy scent that is reminiscent of tanning lotion. The directions state to begin with clean and exfoliated skin. It notes application with an mitt, but that is not included in the sample. You are to apply it in long, sweeping motions to your legs, arms, and body. Any leftover residue on the mitt can be applied to your knees and face. After leaving it on for up to six hours for the darkest tan, wash it off with warm water and pat dry. You can re-apply it 30 minutes later for an even deeper tan.

Splat Hair Chalk in Sugar Plum

I purchased the Walmart Halloween 2020 Beauty Box and it came with the blue version of this hair chalk. The directions say to begin with dry hair and apply a light mist of hair spray. Then, insert your finger into the sponge and press your hair between the sponge and the chalk. Slide the chalk down the length of your hair and repeat if you want a more intense color. Finish with hairspray to lock in the color, and shampoo to remove it. There are warnings on the box that it can stain your clothes during application, so you should wear a towel. It can also transfer to furniture and clothing during the day, which makes me very scared to use this product.

Megababe Thigh Rescue Anti-Friction Stick

I expect this anti-friction stick to have a smooth, rounded top like deodorant. Curiously, the top of this one is sunken in and has product sticking up around the edges. This will be very messy to apply the first few times! I do not have thigh chafing, so this product is not a good match for me. The white stick has a hard to describe scent, sort of fresh like deodorant. You are to apply it to your inner thighs and re-apply as needed.

The Shop Face Wash Daily Exfoliating Cleanser

This face wash is a clear gel with an exfoliant. The scent is sort of citrusy. You are to massage it over your wet face and neck both in the morning and at night, then rinse well. It claims to exfoliate, cleanse, and unclog pores for smooth skin.

Soo AE Purifying Black Charcoal Mask

I distinctly remeber Walmart pushing the Soo AE brand previously, and this exact sheet mask makes an appearance in the Spring 2019 Walmart Beauty Box. It has awesome ingredients! They include hyaluronic acid for moisture, green tea extract for soothing, and charcoal for brightening and anti-inflammatory purposes. It claims to improve elasticity for smooth, supple, and radiant skin. You are to apply this mask to clean, dry skin. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes, then massage the excess serum in. If you apply this in the daytime you should follow up with facial sunscreen. I do know that this mask fits the face well and stays on, as it also hydrates.

These Walmart Beauty Box Summer 2024 spoilers are my least favorite. I will use the face wash and sheet mask. The other items do not align with my needs, routine, or tastes.
