It is time for Walmart Beauty Box Summer 2022 spoilers with an unboxing and reviews! This box feels fairly lightweight, arriving about a week and a half before the official start of summer. I have not seen much buzz surrounding this subscription box, so I am not sure what to expect.

Sagely Naturals Extra Strength Pain Relief Cream

This cream claims to temporarily relieve minor aches and pains from your muscles and joints. You are to massage it onto your problem areas daily or as needed. The formula should be lightweight, with no greasy residue. It should also instantly cool with the help of menthol. The formula contains none of the bad stuff, so to speak, and is 95% natural.

Go Gray Purple Toning Masque

This hair conditioning mask is purple toned to combat warm yellow tones to enhance gray and silver hair. You are to apply it to wet hair after shampooing, and allow it to sit for three to five minutes before rinsing it out. It should brighten and hydrate your hair.

I find this to be a curious selection for my box! As detailed in best shampoo for brunette hair, blue shampoo can tone brunettes who went blonde, where as purple is best for natural blondes. This means blue is best for me, and purple does not fully get the job done. I will still use this as I doubt it will bring my blonde highlights to gray.

Chapstick Total Hydration in Eucalyptus Mint

This lip balm claims to leave you with healthier looking lips that are smooth and moisturized. It is a clear balm that is perfect for layering with other lip products, and it smells/tastes like the name. You do get a cooling effect.

Liquid I.V. Hydration Multiplier in Pina Colada

Walmart has put these in so many boxes now, including the Spring 2022 box, that I go “not again!” when I open my box and see another. But, Pina Colada is my favorite flavor out of all the ones that I have tried! It tastes like sweet pineapple and is not artificial or chalky. These powders claim to hydrate you faster and more efficiently than plain water. The formula contains essential vitamins and electrolytes. You are to mix it with 16 ounces of water and stir it thoroughly. For the most part it dissolves, but some will settle to the bottom, and otherwise make your water cloudy. The ultimate reason why I do not buy these is that they are high in sugar.

Neutrogena Invisible Daily Defense Face Serum, SPF 60+

This is a sunscreen serum that protects against UVA/UVB rays. It applies invisibly to skin, even though it has a light orange color and sunscreen scent. It claims to be lightweight, gentle, to improve skin’s radiance, and to protect against environmental stressors. This non-greasy formula is ideal for daily use. Please note that it runs out of the tube fast! This product is sweat and water resistant for up to 80 minutes, and you should apply it 15 minutes before sun exposure.

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser

This is a creamy, non-foaming face wash that is designed for dry to normal skin. It should be gentle and effective at removing dirt, makeup, and impurities by using micellar technology. It also claims to hydrate the skin for up to 48 hours, to sooth, to preserve skin’s barrier, and to maintain pH balance. Additionally, it should fight the five signs of skin sensitivity, leave skin feeling soft, and will not clog pores. This is a translucent white gel with no scent.
