The year is closing fast, and just in time for the change of seasons we have this Walmart Beauty Box Winter 2022 review. This box arrived about a week before the official first day of winter, as Brandshare seems to have the subscription back on track. I invite you to unbox it with me.
Physicians Formula Butter Blowout Mascara
I have finished up a full-size tube, and I was glad for it to be gone! I do not like this mascara because it leaves something to be desired with length and volume. The most annoying aspect is removal. It becomes a flakey mess all over your eyes, even though it is not waterproof. It claims to provide luxurious, full volume and length with a buildable and nourishing formula.
Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream
They must have made a mistake by sending two of the same! I recall years ago they sent duplicates of lip gloss. This lightweight, white cream claims to nourish and to repair skin’s moisture barrier in one week. You are to smooth it generously over the skin and reapply as necessary. This is technically formulated for use on the body, but from my understanding, it can be used on the face.
Find Your Happy Place Catching the Sunrise Foaming Bath Bomb
You might recognize this from the Self Care Limited Edition Box. I have used it since then, and I can tell you that it does foam and leave your bathwater with a yellow-orange hue. The mango and citrus scent is nice. Other than that, it is a standard bath bomb.
Liquid I.V. Hydration Multiplier Tangerine and Watermelon
This is a sample that we have seen in SO many boxes, I roll my eyes now. Why did they send two flavors?? We last saw these in the Walmart Beauty Box Spring 2022 box. My biggest complaint is the amount of unnecessary sugar. Anyway, these powders claim to hydrate you faster and more efficiently than plain water. The formula contains essential vitamins and electrolytes. You are to mix it with 16 ounces of water and stir it thoroughly. For the most part it dissolves, but some will settle to the bottom, and otherwise make your water cloudy. The flavor is not chalky.
Suave Up The Volume Shampoo and Conditioner
The packaging looks a lot like Smooth Performer, which I actually bought the full-size of the system after trying it in a Walmart box. The shampoo claims to cleanse, yet add body from root to tip for thick looking hair. It should also add shine and volume. You are to apply a quarter-sized amount to the roots and massage it into your scalp. As for the conditioner, it claims to gently detangle and moisturize with visible bounce. You are to apply a quarter-size amount from mid-lengths to ends.
I have already used this, and I have some thoughts. My thin hair does not do volume at all. However, I can see a bit more volume at the root than the standard from simply having freshly washed hair. The lengths have some body as well. Suave makes really good shampoo and you should not sleep on it! I might have to go for the full-size.
Shop The Box
This is the most disappointing box of the year. I am over the Liquid I.V. packets, plus I was sent the same moisturizer twice. Also, I already know that I do not like the mascara. The saving grace is the Suave sample! Until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.
