In a world that is inundated with nude eyeshadow palettes, what is one more to add to your makeup collection? A 16-pan option is being dropped on us, which is the wet n wild Always Naked palette. Please stick around for a review with swatches and two looks!
Details & Claims
We shall start with where to buy the palette. If you go with wet n wild directly, you can snag it for $7.98. Otherwise, Walmart, Walgreens, and Amazon provide it for $8.98.

It should contain 16 ultra-pigmented eyeshadows that are mattes, sparkles, and glitter. The formula should be blendable, luxurious, and creamy so that it glides on easily for a flawless application. Each eyeshadow should be long-lasting and smudge proof. You can use them wet or dry.
There are no shade names, rather, each is numbered one through 16 in a table on the back of the package. You should definitely recognize this palette design from other collections.
Swatches & Shades
You can easily see the variation of each shade, which translates well on the eye for differentiation. Also, the velvety smooth finish is apparent.
Review
I have to start by comparing it to the wet n wild Always Blushin’ palette. This palette produces a substantial amount of kick-up in the pan, and you can see the pigment flying into the air in application like you do with the other. However, the pigmentation is stronger with this one. You still have to work to build up the pigment, but you will have an easier time. It even swatches better with the finger.
I do find that the formula is velvety soft and smooth, but I still miss wet n wild’s higher quality formula. Additionally, I am not sure how many unique colors this palette will add to your collection if you already have several nude options.

Ultimately, it works, and if it speaks to you, then go for it. The price is a great deal for 16 pans, and you can never have too many naked palettes.
Eye Looks
I am ending with two eye looks. The first is an example of blending and building the various brown shades for depth. Meanwhile, the second look is a classic that many enjoy on a daily basis. It is good for both day and night, and pairs well with a bold lip, such as a red pout.
Sultry Nude
To recreate the eye look, start by setting the eyelid with shade one. Next, apply shade 10 to the crease and along the lower lash line. Then, deepen the crease with shade 11. Now, apply shade four to the eyelid. Next, apply shade 14 to the outer third, then shade 15 to the outer-v and connect it to the lower lash line. Finish the look by highlighting the brow bone and inner corner with shade 3.
Classic Nude
To recreate the eye look, start by setting the eyelid with shade one. Next, apply shade five to the crease and along the lower lash line. Deepen the crease with shade 10, and sweep it along the lower lash line close to the lashes. Now, apply shade three to the eyelid. Then, apply shade 16 to the outer third of the eyelid, and connect it down to the lower lash line. Finish the look by highlighting the brow bone and inner corner with shade 2.
Shop The Palette
I can argue that the palette needs more pigment. We all know that wet n wild can produce a zinger of a palette that will have you wondering if you are using Anastasia Beverly Hills or a drugstore item. You will see a lot of kick-up in the pan and powder flying around like smoke, but there is little fallout. Will you be adding this to your neutrals collection? Until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.
