To dispel any confusion, this is a Walmart Beauty Box Fall 2021 review. For an extra $3 we were provided the option to upgrade to the Mindful limited edition box. I already know ahead of time what comes in the box, so consider this to be spoilers overview. We are going to unbox this together and review the items.
Real Techniques Miracle Airblend Sponge
I am a major fan of their original orange sponge, but this one is entirely different. It claims to evenly blend foundation and to blur fine lines while leaving you with a radiant, streak-free, and full-coverage finish. You can use it wet or dry, but it is recommended to wet it before first use. It is made of antimicrobial materials. This sponge is incredibly lightweight and squishy. When I squeeze it, it slowly comes back to form and honestly feels like memory foam!
Alaffia Authentic African Black Soap All-in-One
It claims to provide a gentle, daily clean that is suitable for all skin types. You can use it for any purpose that you want, including face wash, body wash, and shaving soap. The directions state to lather it with a loofah, a washcloth, or your hands. It is a brown liquid that obviously smells like African black soap. I find that I have to use more of it than traditional body wash, as the suds run out quickly.
Burt’s Bees Squeezy Tinted Lip Balm in Sweet Peach
It claims to provide a light, healthy-looking shine with a hint of color. This is peach colored and flavored. It looks sheer and shiny on the lips, just like a gloss or an oil.
WoodWick Mini Hourglass Candle in Fireside
It has a special wick that crackles as it burns. This is a warm, woodsy, and musky scent.
Hello Extra Freshening Mouthwash
I am actually using the matching toothpaste and toothbrush as I write this, so now I have the trifecta to use together! This mouthwash claims to keep your breath next-level fresh. It is a translucent black liquid that is not messy to spit in the sink. The flavor is mint, but there is a tone of something natural or plant-based present.
Bliss Jelly Glow Peel Daily Exfoliator
It claims to uniquely exfoliate with soft fibers that capture and roll away dirt and flaky skin. It should leave behind skin that is smooth, soft, and fresh. You are to gently massage it over damp skin in a circular motion, and then rinse thoroughly. I can confirm it does ball up and leaves the skin squeaky to the touch clean.
Cleen Beauty Lavender Chamomile Night Cream
It claims to deeply nourish and hydrate the skin. Additionally, it should restore, condition, and soothe the skin while you sleep. You are to apply it to a clean face using upward strokes. This cream is lightweight and smells like the name. It really functions like a moisturizer.
