Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Illuminating Body Lotion

It is formulated for those with dull skin. It claims to deeply moisturize, to improve skin’s texture, and to brighten. You are to smooth it all over the body, preferably over damp skin. The lotion is white and smells like name, which is coconut and hibiscus.

Eden Body Works Coconut Shea Leave In Conditioner

It is safe for color treated, chemically processed, curly, or straight hair. It claims to revitalize and moisturize your hair for daily use. You are to apply it to freshly shampooed hair and do not rinse it out. The white cream smells like coconut.

The Lip Bar Liquid Matte Lipstick in Curlfriend

This liquid lipstick claims to apply like a gloss, but to dry down fully matte and to last all day without drying the lips. Based on the swatch, the claims are very promising. This product is full-coverage and it feels slightly tacky, but not drying. I love the packaging! The applicator is a small, rounded doe foot.

Black Opal True Color Illuminating Stick in 220 Bronze Glow

Bronze Glow is too dark for my skin tone, but it can easily be used on the eyes. I plan on donating mine. This formula is so creamy I can tell that it will blend easily with your fingers, a brush, or a sponge. It does not drag, pull, or tug. The bronze hue is rich and metallic. It claims to have a creamy texture that dries to a satin finish that blends seamlessly for a healthy glow. This product can also be applied to the shoulders, arms, and legs.

Tailored Beauty Curl Antidote Curling Cream

Admittedly, this product is not formulated for my hair type, so I am not sure if I will donate it or try applying it to damp braids to curl my hair without heat. The instructions state to divide damp hair into small sections. Next, apply a small amount of product to each braid or twist. Then, unravel your hair once it is dry. You should shampoo and condition your hair before using this product.

To conclude the Walmart Beauty Box Beauty Through Unity Box review, I am so excited to try these new to me items. I knew going into this box that a few items may not be formulated for my hair type, and the highlighter stick is made for a deep complexion, but getting the chance to feature these black-owned drugstore brands is what really counts here. I can always donate what does not work for me. What is your favorite black-owned beauty brand from the drugstore, or anywhere? Until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.
