1) Floral + White + Mint (Where Is the Garden Party)

My first look in these dressy summer outfits for 2019 plays with white and mint. Here I have a light and airy floral kimono paired with a cotton dress. The dress is anything but plain with ruffles and a tie at the top. I am also including floral sandals, a mint handbag, and a sunhat for good measure. This look screams garden tea party to me.

2) Stripes + Leather + Silver (She’s Fashionably Late)

Next I am exploring basic black and white. My shoes and handbag tie in the leather feel, and the accents are silver. A quilted handbag always works well for a dressy vibe. Cold shoulders prevent the ribbed dress from being boring or too common.

3) Denim + Black + Stripes (I’ll Catch the Next Train)

Layers are the name of the game with this style! While the dress can totally be independent with it’s tie sleeves and off-the-shoulder features, it also pairs well with your favorite denim shirt. I am using a black handbag and shoes to accentuate the thin black stripes in the white dress. A glass beaded necklace is classic and accessorizes without being gaudy. I am even layering my wrist with fun hair ties and a watch. This look is the best of dressy and casual while being a total fashionista.

4) Choker neck + Floral + Pink (Catch the Bouquet)

Continuing my dressy summer outfits for 2019 is this eye-catching floral choker neck dress. Try it with a handbag or clutch that draws out one of the colors in the flowers like I did. I am keeping the accents silver.

5) Taupe + Floral + Blue (Meet You At Noon)

Here is one of my favorites looks for sure! This vibrant hue of blue works well with nude pairings, like my shoes and handbag. Blue also looks nice with gold accents like in my jewelry and handbag. This outfit can be worn to dinners, showers, and more.

Earrings: homemade by me

6) Black + Coral + Floral (One More Chance)

If you are someone that loves to wear black, here is a great way to do so but also break the hue up a bit. The coral necklace lets me pull out the coral flowers in the kimono. Additionally, the kimono allows me to spice up a basic black dress. Grab some heels and a spacious handbag and you are set to go!

7) Red + Plaid + Leather (Breaking the Dress Code)

My dressy summer outfits for 2019 need some punk flair, and I have it with this schoolgirl skater dress. This dress is so flattering, especially with the two cutouts on the back that make my back look good! I am pairing this dress with zipper-detail shoes and a bull-bar purse for extra attitude. This is definitely not your average uniform for school!

Shoes: Attention from Kmart

8) Burgundy + Black + Mesh (Pebbles At Her Window)

I like to style a skirt with a form-fitting shirt that easily tucks into the skirt. Rather than going with a basic t-shirt, I am working with a cutout style for extra flair. I am also including many textures, like velvet, mesh, and leather for a complex style. This type of outfit makes you look like you know how to pair pieces effortlessly.

9) Leopard + Black + Gold (Style Makes Me Wild)

So far I have talked about dresses and skirts, but let’s add some leggings in the mix! Leopard always pairs with black and gold. This blouse is long enough to wear over the leggings and is anything but basic with the tie detail. My choker provides subtle bling.

10) Red + Floral + Gold (She’s In the Ballroom)

The last outfit in my list of dressy summer outfits for 2019 is great for an ultra formal event, such as a wedding. Floral maxi dresses will show off the best parts of your figure. I am balancing out the striking print with earrings rather than a necklace. The earrings pull out the hues in the roses and continues the theme from head to toe. By wearing heels I can pull off the maxi dress with my short stature. All of my accents are consistent with gold.

Handbag: A New Day from Target
Shoes: Jessica Simpson from Dillards

In summary of my dressy summer outfits for 2019, my looks range from casual dressy all the way to highly formal. It is my intention that you will find a look to match any of your needs. Dressing up does not need to be an uncomfortable drag! Try something new with layers, mixed textures, or just keep it simple with a dress and heels. Even the most dainty accessories can have a huge impact. If you recreate any of my outfits or just feel inspired, please reach out in the comments. Until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.
