I know it is difficult to believe that the holidays are here already, but, it is time to talk about the wet n wild holiday 2019 collection. Typically, I group these products into my beginning of the year what is new with wet n wild posts, but this time I am talking about the holiday items separately. Besides swatches and reviews, I will be telling you what is new or a repeat, as well as what is good for gifting to yourself or to others. Time to get started!

wet n wild 10 piece Brush Set

First in the wet n wild holiday 2019 collection is the 10-piece brush set. They release a set every year, which I do look forward to. Unfortunately, these brush are exactly the same as the ones released last year. The only difference are the stunning peach handles, and the handles are shorter or stubbier in general. While they are beautiful, there is nothing new about this collection.

wet n wild megaglo Highlighting Palette

Second is the megaglo Highlighting Palette. The four shades in this palette are Botanic Dream, Blossom Glow, Golden Flower Crown, and White Lilly. All of these shades are available as singles, except for White Lilly. White Lilly can be found in other holiday palettes released in the past, but not as a single. This palette is good for gifting to others who do not own these shades, but maybe not for yourself if you have these shades. I am only swatching White Lilly below, but you can search the other shade names here on the blog to find reviews and swatches

wet n wild coloricon 32-pan Eyeshadow Palette

Third is the coloricon 32-pan Eyeshadow Palette. Per usual, these eyeshadows are the type of quality that you expect from wet n wild. There is a mixture of mattes and shimmers in a range of cool tones and warm tones. The shadows swatch well, and I think this makes a good a gift for yourself or for others. I must say, though, if you look at the colors in this palette almost all of them can be found in the coloricon 10-pan palettes, leaving only a few shades as new. Below I am including a picture of all of the 10-pan palettes that I believe contain the same shades as the 32-pan. wet n wild Nail Polish Towers

Fourth are four Nail Polish Towers that are exclusive to Five Below, retailing at $5 each. You may recall that last year Five Below also had exclusive wet n wild nail polish sets in mini bottles. The color stories this year are similar to the past ones. I am sad to report that these polishes are very sheer in pigmentation and are really not good quality. These may take many layers to build up, or they may need to be layered over other polishes. I do note that they are packaged in the Wildshine bottles. There are no shade names for the colors.

We are now heading into products that I am not purchasing from the collection because I already have all of these items. You can definitely search the products to see my reviews and swatches. The photos are taken from either wet n wild or Walgreens.

wet n wild Catsuit Lip Tin

Next in the wet n wild holiday 2019 collection is the Catsuit Lip Tin. I know that wet n wild is trying to pass this off as a “holiday” item on their website, but my local Walgreens started carrying this many months ago. Price wise, this tin is a good deal! However, none of the shades are new. If you already have these colors then you probably should pass for yourself, but it makes a good gift for those wanting to try the Catsuit line. You get a variety of shades that are from the matte or metallic lines. The shades are:

wet n wild Limited Edition Rebel Rose Kit

Continuing on is the Limited Edition Rebel Rose Kit. All of these items are from the Rebel Rose collection (a popular post here on the blog!), so none of them are new. But, this kit does make a good gift. It features:

wet n wild 1-step Wonder Gel Nail Set

Here is the 1-step Wonder Gel Nail set. I definitely love this nail polish line because of the intense pigment and high shine. These are perfect in two coats! The colors included are:

wet n wild Glitter Single Set

Next is the Glitter Single set. As I have shared in the past, the formula is basically like Vaseline with glitter in it. Honestly, I have all the shades and I never use these. None of the colors are new. A glitter junky may appreciate these as a gift, otherwise I may consider gifting other sets. The shades included are:

wet n wild Mega Slicks Lip Gloss Set

Pressing on is the Mega Slicks Lip Gloss set. I am not a fan of lipgloss, so you will not find these in my collection. Lip gloss lovers will probably enjoy getting this set as a gift. The shades included are (as far as I can tell from the picture):

wet n wild Mini Mascara Collection

Here is the Mini Mascara Collection. Honestly, wet n wild mascaras do not cut it for me, while I do have all of these in my collection. These are best suited to be gifted to those that are new to makeup or do not want bold lashes. It is also a nice sampler for those wanting to try the wet n wild mascara line for the first time. In this set you get:

wet n wild Silk Finish Lipstick Set

The last item in the wet n wild holiday 2019 collection is the Silk Finish Lipstick set. Since the box does not provide shade names, I cannot accurately tell by the picture what shades are included. I will assume none of them are new due to the trend so far. Silk Finish lipsticks are good for makeup lovers at any skill level, and are great drugstore lipsticks in general.

In conclusion of the wet n wild holiday 2019 collection, I am sad that hardly any of these items are new. Nearly everything here can be found in wet n wild’s standard collection. These sets do make great gifts and present a good value price wise, as long as you are gifting them to people that will appreciate the items that you get inside. Also, these sets are the perfect opportunity to try some wet n wild goodies for yourself, or just plain gift yourself. Will you be gifting any of these sets?
