Talk about a subscription box that is always late to the party! We are nearly in Fall, and here arrives this Walmart Beauty Box Summer 2019 review. I swear, if this box was not so cheap I would cancel the service. You can never predict what drugstore samples will spill out of the cardboard, but you can almost guarantee that there will be repeats from past boxes and that nothing will be ‘summer’ related. All in all I do enjoy playing with drugstore goodies. Time to begin the unboxing.
Dove Refresh + Care Fresh Coconut Dry Shampoo
The first product in this Walmart Beauty Box Summer 2019 review is Dove’s Refresh + Care Fresh Coconut Dry Shampoo. It is a repeat from the Spring 2019 box, so now I have two cans on hand. But, I must say that Dove dry shampoos are some of the best out there, subsiding my frustration over a repeat. You are to shake the can well before and during use. Be sure to spray it eight to 12 inches from your roots, and then massage the product into your hair. Finally, brush or comb your hair out.
Bioderma Sensibio H2O
Second is Bioderma’s Sensibio H2O, which is a micellar water. They claim to be the inventors of micellar water! I am sure the world will agree with my statement that I thought Garnier invented micellar water, since their product blew up so much. Anyway, this micellar water claims to remove 99% of makeup while being safe for sensitive skin. You can use it on your face and eyes. I use micellar water daily and I enjoy trying new ones.
Nivea Aloe Vera Body Lotion
Third is Nivea’s Aloe Vera Body Lotion, which is a repeat foil packet one-time-use sample from the Fall 2018 box. It claims to absorb immediately into the skin while providing 48 hour moisturization. It is also lightweight and refreshing.
Biore Witch Hazel Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strip
Fourth is a Witch Hazel Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strip from Biore. It claims to remove dirt, oil, and blackheads while reducing the size of your pores over time. You are to apply it to your wet nose after washing your face. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes until it dries out. To remove the strip, peel it from the edges toward the middle.
Bic Soleil Sensitive Razor
Fifth is Bic’s Soleil Sensitive razor. It features three flexible blades that glide easily over your skin. The razor has a shield that will protect your skin from nicks and cuts, and even has a moisture strip. I do not use razors, so I will donate this.
Maybelline Master Precise All Day Liquid Liner
The last product in this Walmart Beauty Box Summer 2019 review is Maybelline’s Master Precise All Day Liquid Liner in black. It is a repeat from the Fall 2018 box. The felt tip allows for an easy, precision application. It is also waterproof and has a rubber grip. To me this is a great everyday liquid eyeliner pen and I have no complaints.
To summarize this Walmart Beauty Box Summer 2019 review, three of the samples are repeats, and the razors I do not use at all. I also want to see one less single-use sample.
