e.l.f. Beauty Bundle Rose Gold Box Review

e.l.f Beauty Bundle Rose Gold Box

Back around Christmas 2016 I got my hands on this special edition e.l.f. Beauty Bundle Rose Gold box. Out of the four available options, Rose Gold sounds the best to me, especially since I am hoping to get the rose gold eyeshadow palette. I am really intrigued by this deal, because they are offering $40 of makeup for only $20. While it is taking me a long time to get the post together as much is happening in the makeup world, I am finally ready to share the box! Let’s get straight into it.

e.l.f. Eyeliner & Shadow Stick in Purple/Plum

To start off the e.l.f. Beauty Bundle we have a free sticker and drawstring bag. I like this already. As for the eyeliner and shadow stick, I already have this in the white color. I like this color combination, and the shades themselves. The product swatches easily on my hand. I have to wonder if the eyeshadow will crease or not.

e.l.f. Volumizing & Defining Mascara in Jet Black

Next in this special e.l.f. Beauty Bundle we have the Volumizing & Defining mascara. I have never found an e.l.f. mascara that I like. This one just looks rather cheap and from their non-existent Essentials line. This will probably collect dust along with my pile of other mascaras to try.

e.l.f. Mineral Lipstick in Ripe Rose

This is my first e.l.f. mineral lipstick. I am obsessed with this color! It is right down my alley in the mauve pink category. The lipstick swatches so smooth, and the pigment is definitely buildable. I do call it a basic lipstick.

e.l.f. Nail Polish in Mint Cream

In my experience, e.l.f. nail polish chips rather quickly. This bottle is sporting a “new improved formula” sticker, so I hope it holds up better. I really like the color mint, so good job e.l.f. on this choice.

e.l.f. Shimmering Facial Whip in Lilac Petal

I have always wanted to try the shimmering facial whips, but cream makeup terrifies me. After swatching this product, I feel more confident. It easily blends with my finger, and does not look crazy pink. The hue is a really pretty, soft pink highlight. I can see myself applying a small dab above my cheeks, and blending it out with my finger as highlight. The formula is not oily and I may purchase more shades. This product may be an e.l.f. affordable, best-kept secret.

e.l.f. Glossy Gloss in Berry Blush

Ok, you all know I hate lipgloss. However, this shade totally matches the mineral lipstick! I think this will look really nice on top of the mineral lipstick. The applicator is a skinny brush, which is new to me. Getting precise application may be difficult if you are wearing this product alone. It is decently pigmented.

e.l.f. Blending Brush

I have other blending brushes in my huge brush collection that tend to be more densely packed than this e.l.f. blending brush. While I do think this brush will have a purpose, blending may not be the best option.

e.l.f. Soothing Serum

Wow, a full-sized e.l.f. skincare product! I have yet to get into their skincare line because of the prices, but I will surely try the Soothing Serum out. It sounds like a lovely product to rub onto my face in the evening before bed. The packaging is gorgeous.

e.l.f. Daily Brush Cleaner

Alright, one of my e.l.f. holy grail products! I seriously use Daily Brush Cleaner after every makeup application, in between deep cleanings. I always try to have plenty on hand, so I am not disappointed by receiving this backup.

e.l.f. 32 Piece Eyeshadow Palette

The final product in this e.l.f. Beauty Bundle is a huge eyeshadow palette! I love the color range of this palette. I really feel the rose gold theme with this, especially the second row. The swatches are fairly decent, but I have seen better. I think if you really work with the eyeshadows, you can get some nice looks out of them.

I am not doing the math, but I think this e.l.f. Beauty Bundle lives up to it’s $40 claim. I am enjoying the full-sized products, especially ones that are new to me. Overall, I am mostly feeling the rose gold theme, but I think the overarching theme colors are darker, more fall-like in general. Will you buy this box or any of the others? Do you have any of these products? I want to know in the comments. Until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.
