Every year elf Cosmetics releases a limited edition collection that is exclusive to Walmart (both in-store and online) and on elf’s website. The products hang around for a year, and finally go away around February or March. For 2023 we have the elf Good Vibes Only collection. It has a retro 70s theme with bold, groovy hues. This collection is a bit smaller than what we are used to, but it still has similarities to the past. I have the entire collection and I am doing a detailed review for you, complete with swatches, star ratings, and a look. By the end of this blog post you will know exactly what you want to buy.

Good Vibes Only Eyeshadow Palette

First in the elf Good Vibes Only collection are the two Good Vibes Only Eyeshadow Palettes. These are brand new, limited-time shades of the elf Bite Size Eyeshadows. They have the same great formula and quality that you would expect, which mimics high-end performance. All of the shades are highly blendable and buildable with excellent color payoff. There is little to no fallout, and nothing is patchy or chalky. You may use the shimmers wet for extra boldness.

Claims: These eyeshadows should be ultra-pigmented and blendable, featuring a mix of mattes and shimmers. Each shade should be creamy and smooth. The palettes are the right size for travel.

Good Vibes Only Eyeshadow Brush Set

Second in this elf Good Vibes Only collection review is the Good Vibes Only Eyeshadow Brush Set. These brushes have the same sturdy quality that you get from any of their brushes. In this set you get an eyeliner brush, crease brush, and an eyeshadow brush that is basically their classic “C” brush that is still one of my favorites today. My elf brushes never shed or fall apart, and I will always speak highly of them.

Claims: The eyeshadow brush has fluffy bristles to apply an even wash of color to your eyelid. The crease brush can be used to add depth to your crease. Finally, the eyeliner brush has a fine tip for sharp, precise lines and graphic work.

Good Vibes Only Soft Velvet Primer

Third is the Good Vibes Only Soft Velvet Primer. This primer feels exactly like one of my all-time favorites, which is Smashbox Photo Finish, because this is a clear gel. It leaves the face feeling smooth and matte for makeup application, with no tacky texture. The most amazing thing about this primer is that it fills and blurs my pores! I always have to use second primer specifically for my nose area to accomplish this task. I love that this one primer gets my entire face done. At the end of the day my makeup has normal wear and tear. This may not exactly be extending wear, but it is not harming wear either. I really like this product and I plan on using it a lot this year. They need to make this a permanent line item!

Claims: This primer has a soft, velvety texture that mattifies the skin with a poreless look. It should smooth your complexion and blur.

Good Vibes Only Shroom Lip Balm

Fourth is the Good Vibes Only Shroom Lip Balm. This lightweight lip balm is clear and I like to apply a light layer under matte lip color to help to hydrate my lips. You can also wear this alone. I find that it does successfully hydrate your lips and leave them feeling great with virtually no flavor.

Claims: This lip balm has a moisturizing formula for smoother, softer lips. It applies clear and leaves your lips with a subtle sheen. You can wear it alone or under other lip products.

Good Vibes Only Nail Stickers

Fifth is the Good Vibes Only Nail Stickers. There is not a whole lot to review here – simply peel off a sticker, place it on your nail, and apply at least one layer of top coat. I like to use tweezers to peel the stickers up.

Claims: These are self-adhesive nail stickers that should be easy to apply. You can stick them to natural or polished nails.

Last for elf Good Vibes Only is the Good Vibes Only Cloud 9 Cleansing Cloud. I use the elf Mint Melt cleansing pad all the time as my go-to. Their clouds have just the right amount of softness for a gentle cleanse. You can use this with a face wash or makeup remover of your choice, or even just water. This product does a great job of removing makeup or cleansing a bare face anytime.

Claims: This is a washable and reusable makeup remover pad that melts away makeup and impurities with just water. It has soft fiber strands that reach into your pores and grip impurities. By using water you can clean your face without harsh scrubbing.
