One day I was shopping on Amazon trying to find the wet n wild Pride collection, and I stumbled across the wet n wild Stitch products before any spoiler bloggers or social media accounts! I started this blog post as spoilers and a first look, but now it has been transitioned to my typical detailed review. This review contains swatches, claims, star ratings, a makeup look, and much more. This collection is inspired by Lilo and Stitch, which was a popular Disney show when I was a kid! They have a new Stitch show coming out on Disney+, hence the collection. By the end of this post you will know exactly which products you will want to buy, and which to save your money on.

Where To Buy The wet n wild Stitch Collection

I will start with where you can buy the wet n wild Stitch collection. Here are the wet n wild Stitch release dates:

Oddly enough, the wet n wild Lilo and Stitch release date does not include Amazon, even though the product listings appeared there first! However, the Amazon listings are now taking pre-orders! These notes from wet n wild do not state which retailers will be online only, in-store only, or both. Nor do we know if the retailers will carry the full selection or even the collection box. So far, we know that Ulta only has part of the collection, and wet n wild and Amazon will have it all.

As far as purchase options go, there is a wet n wild Stitch Full Makeup Collection. Please note that the box does not contain the makeup bag or brushes. The box is sold out from Ulta. The Ulta listing did claim to be the full collection, which was backed up with the product images and a bullet point list. If you ordered the box from the, you should be receiving a $30 gift card via email.

Stitch Ohana Shadow Palette For Eye and Face

First for wet n wild Stitch makeup is the Ohana Shadow Palette for Face and Eye. This palette contains one shade that is not suitable for use on the face, which is Lilo. It follows the size and format of several other limited edition palettes. I really appreciate how wearable these shades are for most days! Most of their limited edition eyeshadow palettes are colorful in a way that you might use once. But, this is a good choice for your cash because it is usable and not just a collectors item.

For about the past year I have been preaching that wet n wild’s eyeshadow quality and formula has not been as good as we are used to, and that still holds here. The shades Still Good and Model Citizen are very hard and dry in the pan, making them difficult to pick up with your finger. A brush does a bit better, but maybe try a wet brush. They remind me a lot of the inconsistent formula from the Crystal Cavern palettes.

626 and Evil Koala do not have much differentiation on the eye like they do in the pan. I applied both in my makeup look at the end of this post, but the shades muddied together when I tried to blend them. Evil Koala is a bit patchy too.

The other shades are perfectly good. You will get fallout with them, so keep that in mind as you decide on the order of application. The good shades are smooth and velvety with decent pigmentation and they blend easily without getting muddy.

Claims: These eyeshadows should be highly pigmented with intense color in one swipe. Blending should be effortless. You can use a brush or your finger for application, and the formulas can be used wet or dry. This palette contains warm neutral mattes and shimmers.

Stitch Vacation Mode Makeup Bag

Second is the Stitch Vacation Mode Makeup Bag. This bag is very roomy and does hold the entire collection! The color scheme gives me a Texas or southern summer vacation vibe. It does feature a top handle. Other than that, it is a perfectly decent makeup bag.

Claims: This is a medium-sized makeup bag that is perfect for travel. The flexible material can fit brushes and palettes of various sizes. It features a smooth-gliding zipper and a large capacity.

Stitch Catchin’ Waves Sponge & Scrub Set

Third for wet n wild Lilo and Stitch is the Stitch Catchin’ Waves Sponge & Scrub Set. It is a two piece set featuring a teardrop-shaped sponge and a brush and sponge cleansing surfboard that you can use with your favorite soap. The surfboard is made of a flexible silicone material with scrub areas. It also features an indentation where the sponge can sit to dry and to be displayed! The sponge is their typical teardrop design, with Stitch on it. I have said over and over how much I love their perfect sponges.

Claims: The sponge is made of hydrophilic material that should minimize product waste.

Stitch Hula Honey Glow Face Palette

Fourth in wet n wild Stitch is the Stitch Hula Honey Glow Face Palette. It contains two bronzers and two highlighters. wet n wild usually does a good job of making palettes inclusive in shade range, which you need with a one-size-fits-all palette. This would not be suitable for dark skin tones, but it is best for fair/light/medium tones. Depending on your skin tone, you can use the bronzers as contours! Sadly, the highlighters are too dark for my fair skin. The shade with Stitch on it is a no go, and I can just barely get by with the one stamped with the hibiscus. I will wear it anyway in my makeup look, for completeness.

These formulas are very soft, with buildable pigment that is easy to control. If you love their existing bronzers, highlighters, and blushes, you will like this palette! Do note that the highlighters are glittery.

Claims: These powders should provide silky smooth, buttery, seamless application. They are designed to deliver a glow from within look. You can build the formulas to your desired intensity.

Stitch No Bad Days Setting Mist

Fifth in wet n wild x Stitch is the Stitch No Bad Days Setting Mist. This spray has a fine, even mist, which is not surprising because the packaging is the same from several past collections. It does a perfectly good job of setting your makeup, but it does not extend wear time, nor does it harm your makeup. My only note is that I am more shiny than usual at the end of the day with this one, so it really lets the oil come through, in contrast to the ‘no greasy complexion’ claim.

Claims: This makeup setting spray claims to lock your look securely in place, while avoiding a greasy or caked-on complexion. It contains skin-loving ingredients to calm, to brighten, and to reduce redness. This is formulated for all skin types.

Stitch Chillin’ Wet Lip Oil Gloss

Next for Stitch x wet n wild is the Stitch Chillin’ Wet Lip Oil Gloss. This is a new innovation for wet n wild because the formula is a lip gloss and an oil combined. I love when they try something new in a collection! It is offered in three shades. These sheer shades feel like any other wet n wild lip gloss on the lips, in terms of the lightweight formula that is not sticky. You will feel a cooling sensation that lasts for about 15 minutes. These are a great way to get that trendy, juicy lip look. Since these are glosses, be prepared to re-apply. Got The Scoop is the perfect natural pink shade to give you the ‘your lips, but better’ effect.

Claims: This lip gloss and oil combo should deliver hydration and in tense shine. The formula is tinted and lightweight on the lips. Your lips should feel plumper and appear to be more radiant.

Stitch Experiment 626 Makeup Brush Set

Here in the wet n wild Lilo and Stitch collection is the Stitch Experiment 626 Makeup Brush Set. It contains three brushes: face powder, eyeshadow (crease), and highlighter. wet n wild is again doing the liquid confetti filled handles that we have seen several times. I will always stand by the quality of their brushes and they always work. In fact, some of my all-time-favorite brushes are from their limited edition collections!

Below I have a quick comparison of several brushes from past collections. While this is not comprehensive, we can see that similar styles have been released many times.

Claims: These brushes are designed to pick up the right amount of product and to blend effortlessly. The synthetic fibers are soft and high quality for even distribution.

Stitch Carefree Waterproof Eyeliner Set

Continuing on with the wet n wild x Disney Stitch items is the Stitch Carefree Waterproof Eyeliner Set. They are just like the wet n wild Little Twin Stars eyeliners. This duo comes in black and blue. Honestly, they apply like the previous eyeliners too! Both are matte and easy to apply without dragging or tugging for bold color. The swatches were hard to wash off, so these definitely last all day without transfer. They do well on the waterline too, with minor fading at the inner and outer corner, but nothing crazy.

Claims: These eyeliners are waterproof and sweat-proof for up to 16 hour wear. They feature an ultra-precise tip.

Stitch Soakin’ Up Rays Body Luminizer

Next in wet n wild Lilo and Stitch makeup is the Stitch Soakin’ Up Rays Body Luminizer. wet n wild used to have three aluminizes in their permanent line, but they were discontinued quickly. I was not a fan of them because they could transfer onto your clothes. I think this one is a little bit better, but this is still lackluster. This shade is great for all skin tones. Once you rub it into your skin, you are left with some fine glitter and the most subtle glow. Honestly, no one is going to know you did something special unless they analyze your skin closely. Plus, the tropical scent is faint. You can feel some oil on your skin. I do not see the point of wasting your money on something that does not show up.

Claims: This luminizer combines warm colors and light-reflecting pearls to give you a sun-kissed look. The skin-loving ingredients hydrate the skin. You can apply this almost anywhere (arms, legs, cheeks, etc.) and it should be easy to work with and lightweight.

Stitch Life’s a Beach Exfoliating Multi Scrub

The collection box features the Stitch Life’s a Beach Exfoliating Multi Scrub. It has a lovely sweet tropical scent. The formula is gentle, yet effective. It will leave your skin feeling soft without any scent left behind. I appreciate that this can be used anywhere, and the set resembles a pail and shovel that you may have used as a kid.

Claims: This scrub is formulated for use on the face, body, and lips. It should nourish with a blend of sugar crystals and Shea Butter, to also buff away dry, dull skin. The shovel provides easy scooping. Get ready to reveal smooth skin!

Stitch Flying High Waterproof Mascara

The final item in this wet n wild Stitch collection review is the Stitch Flying High Water proof Mascara. I have compared the ingredients to their past limited edition mascaras, namely Bretman Rock, Saved By The Bell, and Care Bears. I also compared against Big Poppa. But, this one has a slightly different formula that takes cues from the others. It features a silicone wand with the slightest hourglass-shape.

wet n wild is one of my top-of-mind brands that simply does not make a good mascara. I do not know why, but their limited edition mascaras are always pretty awesome, but their regular line options are bland. This one grabs and coats each lash while separating them. I can see some length and volume, and I am not mad at it! The formula feels and looks a certain way when you are applying it, almost like it contains oil. But, it dries normal.

Claims: This mascara is volumizing in one swipe with an intense and bold black color. The formula is waterproof and sweat-proof, and the brush should coat and lift every lash.

To recreate the eyeshadow look, start by setting the eyelid with Pudge. Next, apply Lei’d Back to the crease. Then, deepen the crease with Badness Level. Now, apply Family to the eyelid, and then Two Dollars to the outer corner. After that, apply 626 along half of the lower lash line, from the middle of the eye to the inner corner. Follow that by doing the rest of the lower lash line with Evil Koala. Finish the eyeshadow portion of the look by highlighting the brow bone with Island Time, and the inner corner with Aloha Beaches. As for eyeliner, I applied the black liner along the upper lash line, and then I applied the blue eyeliner on my lower waterline.

Conclusion

In summary of the wet n wild Stitch collection, this is a great one for collectors since the colors are tame enough for daily use. Most of their limited edition collections are bold and colorful in a way that you might appreciate on a shelf, but you can really get use out of each item here. The only product that I would honestly say save your money on is the body luminizer. Until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.
