I have seven outfits focusing on how to wear a plaid tunic. For each outfit I have pieces that you can shop now and copy my looks.
Look #1: Red plaid tunic
The first outfit how to wear a plaid tunic features a red tunic that comes with a cognac belt. I am pairing it with a cognac saddle bag that matches perfectly, then doubling that up with booties. The red fringe earrings match the red tunic so well, but the gold brings back the missing bling.

Tunic: Jolie and Joy from Gabes
Booties: Route 66 from Kmart
Handbag: No Boundaries from Walmart
Earrings: Gabes

Look #3: Burgundy plaid tunic
Third is for my burgundy lovers. I am layering this tunic over sheer black hosiery. White booties pull the white out of the plaid print. The booties have a bit of country flair, as does the saddle bag. The choker is a great finishing touch to the ensemble, especially if you leave the top button open on the tunic.
Side note- I am wearing black soft shorts under the tunic because the bottom part of the tunic hangs open. The buttons awkwardly stop about a quarter of the way down.

Tunic: Don’t Stop Believing from Burlington
Booties: Universal Thread from Target
Crossbody: Walmart
Sheer black hose
Choker: Walmart

Look #4: Red, black, and white tunic
This red, black, and white tunic has a roughed up printed look, and it comes with a braided belt with tassel details. My choker wraps around the neck and also has matching a tassels. I love how the length of this tunic interacts with over-the-knee booties (which also have a tassels on the back). I prefer to wear some sheer black hosiery here so I do not feel like I am flashing the world. The leather crossbody also has a roughed up texture, and the fringe ties back into all of the tassels.

Look #5: Blue plaid tunic
Fifth is one of my "old" outfits, featuring a rich, blue tunic. It features a glossy, patent belt. The chandelier earrings and quilted clutch fancy this outfit up a bit. An infinity scarf is a nice added touch, but it also keeps your neck warm. To cover the legs and keep the length of the tunic in check, black tights are a good choice here. I like slouchy black leather boots with this look, but you can consider something with a heel if you want to keep the dressy vibes going.

Clutch: George from Walmart
Earrings: Claire's

Look #6: Red lace shoulder tunic
Next is yet another red tunic, but red plaid is my favorite. This one has lace on the back, and comes with a black belt. Again, I am covering my legs with tights due to the length of this tunic. Quilted details are evident on the round crossbody and the boots. Red and gold are a match made in heaven, so this time around we have a matching earring and ring set. A knit infinity scarf finishes this look up.

Boots: Steve Madden from Delias

Jewelry: Pat Catan's

Look #7: Black plaid tunic
The last outfit on how to wear a plaid tunic is all black and white. There is something so punk about this tunic that I cannot help but pair it with fishnet tights. I am pulling the white out with the heeled booties. All this black screams for a pop of color, and the lime green clutch delivers times ten! The jewelry is subtle, as a crystal ball necklace will do just fine here.
