I am returning with my popular, yearly series. Part one is my what I got for Christmas 2017 fashion haul. This year I am breaking everything down in two parts. The first part is fashion and accessories while the second is makeup and more. I do have other miscellaneous items, but I think you all appreciate the fashion and beauty items and reviews more than that stuff. I love sharing what I have because it is fun and I hope that I can inspire you when you are out shopping. Please note that these posts are not meant to “show off” in any sort of way. If you are offended by Christmas gift posts, then this series may not be for you. Also note that I will not have an after Christmas haul post this year because I will be working and missing the deals.
Fashion
A. Byer Cold Shoulder Bar Top
The first item in my what I got for Christmas 2017 fashion haul may just be my favorite blouse. Showing this blouse on a hanger does not do it justice. It is super silky and features cold shoulder sleeves that end in large ruffles, almost bell sleeve like. The top of the blouse has a gold bar accent. This blouse pairs nicely with dress pants. I love the beautiful hues in the floral design.
No Boundaries Space Dyed Metallic Knit Marilyn Off the Shoulder Tunic Sweater
This is a piece that I would have probably passed up on my own, but I think it really has character being off the shoulder. You can even wear it over your shoulders if you so choose. The sweater is warm and the lurex stitching is not itchy. It pairs nicely with a choker and comfy boots.
Joe Boxer Ruffle Lace Top
This top is soft and almost like a thin sweatshirt. I am a huge fan of burgundy, and I like the ruffled lace accents and the choice to place them diagonally. You can really dress this shirt up or down with jeans or dress pants.
No Boundaries Long Sleeve V-neck Tee
This is yet another piece I would have skipped, but it does have potential as a basic shirt. It is comfortable and can be thrown on with a pair of jeans. The basic design also makes it ideal for layering.
Almost Famous Lace Layered Look Top
I love this top to bits, but it makes me sad knowing that it will eventually fall apart because it is a delicate lace. The bell sleeves are an adorable addition. This top is form fitting and can be tucked in or left out. It pairs nicely with jeans, or whatever you want to wear as bottoms. I appreciate the included cami. The button detail on the back provides the mock neck.
Joe Boxer Chocolate Brown Leather Jacket
I have plenty of faux leather jackets in a variety of colors and I have been wanting to add chocolate brown to my collection for the longest time. I am very glad to have this piece joining my collection.
No Boundaries Pink Skinny Pants
While I already have these pants in the jegging version (same color and all), I am sure that I can find something to do with these. I like to pair pink bottoms with white and ivory shirts.
Jordache Super Skinny Pants
It is no secret that I am a fan of burgundy, and these pants pose an interesting style challenge. They can really be paired with anything that may come my way.
Jordache Super Skinny High Waist Jeans
I always welcome a new pair of jeans into my wardrobe, as I wear them frequently. High waist is not the best option for someone of my height, but none the less I love how stretchy and versatile these jeans are.
Accessories
Olivia Miller Fur Wristlet
This wristlet is super soft and feels to be of high quality, including the leather strap. It is the perfect winter accent piece, and one that I have a few ideas for.
Betsey Johnson socks
Who does not love plush, cozy socks? These Betsey Johnson socks are perfect for the subzero weather we are currently experiencing, and the designs are pretty cute as well.
Faded Glory Ballet Flats
I am definitely putting these shoes away with my professional clothing. I like the ease and comfort of ballet flats. The first pair is velvety with gold dots. The second pair is a faux leather, featuring memory foam soles and stretchy elastic sides for comfort and superior fit. Black ballet flats are definite staples in your professional wardrobe.
Truly Inspired Rose Gold Crystal Necklace and Bracelet
The last items in my what I got for Christmas 2017 fashion haul are the only jewelry pieces I asked for. I have had my eye on these pieces for quite a while. I am a sucker for rose gold, and the multi-colored crystals shine bright. With my tiny wrists I can effortlessly make bracelets fit and stay in place all day with the adjustable slider. I need to find a special outfit for this set. This concludes my what I got for Christmas 2017 fashion haul. Did you have any of these items? Which ones are your favorites? Let me know in the comments. I will be back next week with part two of this yearly series where I will be talking about all things makeup, skincare, haircare, and nails! Who is excited?!
