We have all tried our hand at some hues from the drugstore, and elf cosmetics has been serving up lip looks for over 10 years. They have done a lot of discontinuing of their lipstick varieties in order to stay trendy in the market. Here I covering the elf Srsly Satin Lipstick line with full details, shade descriptions and swatches, and a review..
Details & Claims
I am starting off with where you can buy the lipsticks. If you are looking for the full shade range, definitely stick with elf’s website or Ulta!
There are 10 shades in the line that retail for $3 each. You get .12 ounces or 3.5 grams of product. All of elf’s products are vegan and cruelty free. Their makeup does not contain phthalates, parabens, nonylphenol ethoxylates, triclosan, triclocarban, and hydroquinone.
elf claims that this lipstick feature a creamy formula that saturates the lips with one-swipe pigmentation. They should moisturize and hydrate the lips while wearing like silk. Additionally, they have awesome “luxe” clear packaging.
Ingredients
The lipsticks have three key ingredients that support the product claims and deliver benefits to you.

Review
First and foremost, these lipsticks do stand up to their claims. They provide full-coverage in one swipe that is easy to apply. The formula is soft so there is no dragging or tugging. When being worn on the lips they have a true satin finish, which is in between of being glossy or matte, but they never feel dry. The moisturizing properties are present, making these highly enjoyable to wear.
Do keep in mind that these are standard lipsticks, so you will have some transfer, but it is not bad. With careful eating and drinking you can make these last all day with minor touch-ups. I have eaten Taco Bell with these on, which is quite the feat!
The minimalistic packaging is beyond gorgeous! At the end of the day, you are getting decent drugstore lipstick for $3, and they are totally worth it. The shade range is definitely created with the modern woman in mind. I completely recommend these to you.
Shop The Lipsticks
You get what you get for the price point, but they do stand up to all of the claims. This line is bringing me back to lipstick after straying into liquid lipsticks for several years. Do you enjoy a good satin lip? Until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.
